Went here Sat 3/5 was there for over 3 hours just for puppy 1st shot and health exam he came in…read morenever did an exam showed him dog had dandruff he says I'll look at this under a microscope left the room for quite awhile I was in a room which over looked parking lot there he was the vet working on dogs in the parking lot giving shots to 3 dogs in a truck came back in to the room told me to wash the pup in dawn dish soap gave him a shot left the room never looked the pup over never listened to his heart or looked at his ears check for hernias or teeth just the shot I doubt if he even looked at a microscope!! I was quoted $63 walked out paying $123.00 I sure got ripped off oh and the stethoscope never left the table never once did he pick them up!

It was like doggy day camp for my dog. They allowed me to take my dog into the back when he was boarded there and the animals stayed in large, spacious kennels. The boarding facilities were impeccably clean. They would also give my dog a bath before I would come pick him up. Our family dearly misses this vet; probably the only thing we miss about Caro.

It was our first time there, and I was pleasantly surprised they even offer Sunday appointments. We saw Dr. Garrett, who was incredibly kind, thorough, and genuinely attentive. She reviewed his entire file before meeting us and actually listened to the details we shared about his behavior. We discussed a clear path forward, and he's now scheduled for surgery to have most of his teeth removed. I appreciate that this location has 18 veterinarians, several of whom specialize in dental care, and that they handle everything in-house, including blood work. So far, I'm very happy with the quality of care and professionalism at this veterinary hospital. I'll post a separate review after his surgery.

Laid out their guess as to the issue (which ended up being correct) as well as all of our diagnostic options and gave me good recommendations on what was a reasonable next move, as well as what other options were available but might be an unnecessary expense. Very kind when I - of course - bawled my eyes out hearing the news that the issue was serious. Unfortunately, we discovered that my senior dog had a terminal condition that was untreatable, but I never felt pressured into pricey but futile treatments or made to feel unsure about whether I was making the right call in letting my pet go. There was a very compassionate but pragmatic conversation about quality of life that you don't see at most corporate vets who are simply looking to maximize profits. I will definitely be using Koprowski as my vet should I adopt another pet in the future!

And then to get her pills till we see another vet she put them in her mailbox at her office and told us not to come in and wanted her money immediately. Her staff of Vets and others at the Lapeer location are equally great to deal with. The Lapeer location is not only a "Vet office". It is equipped with the technical medical equipment for serious diagnosis. I had to take a dog in for an emergency on a Saturday morning. Their response was immediate, thorough, caring, and my dog and I left in much better shape.

Do not go here if your pet starts having health problems. My pet had a lot of little health issues,…read moreand every time I went here, they gave me the runaround. They seem woefully understaffed for the amount of patients they have - they will prioritize your appointment if it seems more urgent, but the care itself was not acceptable. 1st problem I had, my pet was having a behavioral issue where they were tearing out their fur. Getting actual treatment for this was an over a month-long ordeal. They finally prescribed some pills, and gave me some medication that was an extremely high dosage - the pills were large and meant for humans (???). Luckily my pet would not take pills... 2nd incident, without going into details, my pet was diagnosed with something life-threatening but treatable. At first they did the standard treatment, but when that didn't work, they started guessing and blindly prescribing different medication without further testing... after that also didn't work, they decided to finally do some more testing. Never got the results back because the Vet went on vacation. No referrals were made, no phone number from the testing facility was given, just nothing, because they went on vacation... evidently, their whole business just stops when the licensed vet (singular) goes on vacation. My pet's condition then got worse and I had to make the decision to put them to sleep. I'm not necessarily attributing this to malice, but at the very least, they seem very understaffed and overcrowded with patients, to the point of negligence. They don't seem willing to admit when they're out of their depth with a pet's condition, and no efforts were made to refer to another vet, (which, in hindsight, I should've changed vets myself) and it ended up potentially costing my pet's life.
