I tired churro iced latte, and as someone who doesn't usually drink coffee it was good. As for the food, I wasn't blown away. I'm not a huge biscuit person to begin with, so maybe this spot just isn't for me. I ordered the Squawking Goat biscuit, which was good, the chicken was really crispy and the flavors worked well together. The smash browns were solid too, just not super memorable. You order your food at a register and instead of asking you for your name they ask you the question of the month. Today's question was " what are you looking forward to this year? " whatever answer you give becomes your order name. I really liked this because you get to know a little about your fellow diners as they are calling order names out for pick up. While we were dining we heard: -"Order up for getting sleep maybe" -"Drinks for getting married" -" food pickup for vacation" It was a really fun part of the dining experience here. I picked this spot because as a vegetarian it's incredibly difficult to find vegetarian biscuits and gravy. This place has a shitake gravy and it's to die for. I was so surprised at how delicious it is and reminds me of the B&G I was lucky to eat growing up. Portion size is huge and very affordable for what you get. I also got a sweet cream cold brew with pretty low expectations as I'm kind of a big coffee person and it did not disappoint. Definitely check this spot out! I was not a fan of the chips but I was told I had to get them because they don't substitute sides that's why I got the fried green tomatoes and may I say they were YUMMMMMMMMY they alone is a 9 out of 10. As a northerner, I have not eaten a lot of biscuits, and having recently moved to the area, I decided it was time to see what all the fuss was about! Just listen to the description of this beauty - fried chicken strips, bacon, cheddar cheese, fried egg, and then absolutely drowned in house-made sausage gravy. YES PLEASE! My wife and I first went in here in late May of 2022 and it was awesome. At that time they ask you what your favorite cereal is to organize the orders. I really appreciate cool gimmicks like this. The layout of the short pump location is good with the coffee station in the back and out of the way. The use real ceramic coffee cups offer each type of roast from "Dark Bark" to "Light Amber" and decaf for those with special needs. We've tried the chicken and waffles but for our money I suggest you pick anything with a biscuit. Their "sidekicks and shareables" could use a little work, I'm looking at you potatoes, but their biscuits and gravy are spot on. The previous time was good, they missed the mark today. Ordered regular waffles no chocolate chips. They were out of strawberries and had no other fruit. Gave us waffles with chocolate chips and when we went to pick them up said oh we messed up and forgot to exclude the chocolate chips. No offer to remake. Eggs were COLD and we had to send them back. Waffle was on the cold side. I had the hash bowl and they didn't include spinach or cheddar cheese. Not the best and several customers were either bringing receipts back for refunds or having new plates of food made. I had to clean my own table and the place wasn't really busy. The portions are huge and delicious and all the meals ordered were enjoyed by all. My husband lived his chicken and waffles and took a whole piece of chicken home for the next day's lunch. A I ate my maple bacon biscuit right up; it would have been treacherous to pick up, but fork and knife did the job. The kids meals are a good value with plenty of food! Always good to find.
