Always a winner for great food, drinks, and service. Small dining area makes a reservation necessary but easy to book through open table. Mood is comfy and casual

I have traveled all along the eastern USA and always try to eat at Irish restaurants. This place is the absolute best Irish restaurant I have ever eaten at. The owners are here every night working and ensuring each person experiences the best food. They are super kind and the service is exquisite! The food is phenomenal! I have tried almost every dish and struggle in deciding what to eat because everything is amazing. Tonight I had the meatballs as an appetizer with red bell pepper slices. I don't know what they seasoned it with but it was the best I had ever had. I also have the Chicken Tikki Masala which is my favorite dish here. It was amazing as always. I recommend the Scottish eggs and the appetizer bread also as it is so good!! This place can be a cool place to hang out for a bite and beer or for a romantic evening. Enjoy the lack in televisions and spend time with your loved ones. I've given this place a review before about a year ago and it has only gotten better!

Had dinner here with some customers. Hole in the wall place in the little town of Reidsville. I had the pork ribeye and it was good. Colleagues had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and scallops. All was good. The head chef came out, introduced herself and made sure all was good.

Delicious food, cozy ambiance, a bit small but totally worth a visit if you're in the area. The shepherds pie was a knock out, and the scotch eggs yummy, but overall the brussel sprouts were the table favorite. Recommend!

Disappointed with this the last few times I've been there. I have always made reservations and we are typically celebrating something when we choose to patronize this small local restaurant. The owner/woman is always to only server and frankly she is too curt and brusk for me. I'm not sure why she seems annoyed my money spends as good as anyone else's. I think I'll look for a different place to celebrate from here on out where they actually make me feel special and welcome.

First thing make sure you make a reservation!!! If you don't have a reservation you wouldn't be able to eat there. Omg very delicious food. The ladies there are very friendly, helpful and sweet. A very quiet and hole in the wall restaurant. Definitely, will be back to try more delicious food. It was my first time and it was very good food.

Irish pub feel, with romantic highlights. The staff is friendly and personable. My husband and I have been here a few times now, and the owner greets us and always makes it a wonderful evening. Family owned and operated. We had the coconut shrimp, shepherd's pie, and fish n chips . Fish is cooked with a crispy batter coating the fish is fresh moist and flaky, home made dipping sauce if you want but it is t needed. Shepherds pie was piping hot with a rich gravy lamb fork tender. Kim always keeps your glass full and she can make one of the best Old Fashion or whisky sours I have had.

The "Fringe" is one of our favorite places in Reidsville Gary and Kim are the owners and they are some of the best people ever! Kim mans the bar and Gary is the executive chef. Their daughter also is head chef. They work very hard to make sure that their food is top tier and a lot of things on their menu are farmed locally. They take reservations only, but if you can't get a table, the bar is just as awesome. They are a small place but do have inside and outside seating. The place is so inviting and decorated perfectly for an Irish theme. They have cold beer, cocktails and wine by the glass and bottle. You have to try the black and tan, yummmm!! The food is top tier and prices aren't bad. I had the Guiness chicken, but I've also had the burger, brussels sprout, appetizer, fish and chips, citrus chicken and the honey glaze pork chops. The brussels sprouts are my favorite appetizer because they are sweet and tangy with balsamic glaze. Everything I've had has always been amazing. The pork chop is *chefs kiss*. Please take the time to check them out, you won't be disappointed!!! Also a great stop to play pokemon go

Our first visit to the Celtic Fringe was so good that we decided to go back a week later. Guess what? The food and service are still OUTSTANDING!! This time we tried the meatball appetizer and seasonal soup of the day, which was black bean and ham. Both were delicious. For our entrees we tried the peppercorn ribeye, which was HUGE and came with a special potato and green beans. We also ordered the chicken tikka masala which came with jasmine rice and naan, I also added green beans. The chicken tikka masala flavor was on point, so great in fact, that if blind folded it could have fooled me that it was from an authentic Indian restaurant! The portion was huge and I had enough leftover for lunch the next day. For dessert we opted for the brownie sundae. You guessed it, it was huge and bursting with chocolaty goodness! If you haven't, you should... We will be back again soon!

    Enjoy!!

Our service was a little hit-or-miss. Our waiter was also managing the bar, which meant we weren't checked on as often as we would have liked. When we ordered, the items weren't read back to us, and unfortunately, the order did come out incorrectly. The drinks definitely a highlight! They were well-made and didn't skim on the alcohol. The meal was perfectly fine, but nothing particularly stood out as spectacular. It's solid pub fare if you're looking for a casual bite. Overall, McCoul's is a decent spot for a strong drink and a cozy, dim atmosphere. I'd love to see a bit more attentiveness on the floor, but it's still a place worth stopping by if you're in downtown Greensboro.
