    Skinny margarita
    Francheska O.

Was in the mood for Mexican food and this was close to our hotel. The place was packed but we were still seated right away. Server was super friendly and efficient. The skinny margarita was really good. For my main dish I got the open face enchiladas. I ate the entire plate! It was so good with the green sauce our server had recommended. The side of the corn cake was delicious.

I was visiting my sister in Palm Springs, she has been telling me about Maracas a restaurant in Rancho Mirage that has really good Mexican food, and she was not lying. We were seated and found out that we were in time for happy hour from 3pm to 5pm weekdays, a few TV's a enclosed cover patio, an open kitcher with huge bar in the center, there is another location in Palm Springs too, the chips & salsa was top notch it was spicy and so good. We ordered a margarita and sangria, the buffalo chicken wings and a combination enchilada plate, all of our food was very tasty plus delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful checking on usa few times. They also have live music here around 5pm

UPDATED LUNCH SPECIALS MENU weekdays $15 includes beverage. New items include Chicken Ranchero and a daily Chef's Special. We tried both yesterday and they were excellent. The Chef's Special on the Lunch Specials menu will change often. Cool surprise whenever you go! We love the staff and the food. The lunch specials are an excellent deal at a time when restaurant prices in general have skyrocketed. Enjoy Maracas in Rancho Mirage!

Three milks cake look wow delicious!!! It's still possible to get impeccable service.

Second time to be here. First with a large group (outdoors) , then for a birthday (indoor). We were seated quickly. Waiter took our drink order ( Mang Tangos). We had chips and super tasty spicy salsa. Orders came at a reasonable time. Everything was so delightful and yummy! We drove just to revisit this place! Everything was amazing! If you wanna eat at one of the best Mexican you will ever eat, do come here in Palm Springs!

My sister and I went on a GREAT hike in Palm Springs and then stopped here on the way home for a great lunch. Service, food, drinks - all on point. New owner is kind and fun and we can't wait to come back! Just genuinely good people and food.

    Absolute Perfection. Huevos Rancheros.

Unlike so many other parts of trips out here - the oppressive heat, dodging careening buggies driven by seemingly lost and possibly inebriated golfers, and the discovery of sand in eyes / nose / shoes / liver - it's a tradition that sits very well with me. I'd even go as far as saying that the food here makes all of the above worthwhile. The restaurant has a car park to the rear and limited street parking in front. The interior has a lovely ambiance, quietly refined by subtle lighting and a gentle arboreal theme. I've seen it busy and our party has also had the place to ourselves on late visits, but I'd definitely recommend a reservation just in case especially with a larger party. The staff provide attentive and genuinely caring service, and the portion sizes are substantial and easily justify the more-than-reasonable cost. The food itself though is the reason this place is always a highlight reel spot for me. Every dish is a feast for the eyes as well as the palette, beautifully presented and packed with flavor. My personal go-to is the perfectly seasoned and healthy Harvest Salad, usually with an added protein (the blackened chicken adds a real flavor kick and the variety in texture that I love in great food). Fortunately my partner happily defaults to the opulent and delightful Lobster Lasagna, as I'd be loath to miss out on a bite or three of that too. Appetizer-wise, I'm yet to regret any soup-of-the-day choice. The Zucchini last night was... well... yep, perfect is no overstatement. Sweet Basil is an absolute gem, and a must-visit for any visitor here. The only even remotely negative things I can think to mention is to be aware of the rather early closing time for at least part of the year.

It's about a 12min drive west of I-10, located in a small business park strip mall. It's absolutely worth the diversion. They have a small section with groceries, and a larger area with refrigerated goods. I tried El Cubano (no tomato, no cabbage), Potato Salad, and Key Lime Parfait. El Cubano was actually delicious. Their thinly sliced and seasoned seitan was perfect, as was the accompanying sauces and toasted bread. I'd order this on repeat if I lived nearby. I was surprised by how great the potato salad was. It had the perfect mayo/mustard balance, which is extremely difficult to find. I need a gallon of this. The key lime parfait was ok. I expected more (in terms of flavor, not quantity), but it was not bad. I've just had much better so I wouldn't order it again. I'd be willing to try a different dessert next time. It was gluten free so that's a plus! There were many other things on the menu that caught my eye, but I only have one tummy. If we'd had a cooler I would've grabbed some tuNo salad, Egg-y salad, smoked chick'n & pasta, and CTK tempeh pâté from their refrigerated section, because everything looked delicious. I also love their little store section with the faux meats, seasonings, and merchandise. I ordered the bowl of chili, the Chupacabra sandwich and the Guadalajara burger. The chupacabra sandwich was good, the menu said that the 'chicken' is thinly sliced, I didn't realize just how thin it is. I think I would have preferred if it were slightly thicker and less cabbage. There was so much cabbage that it overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Overall, I think this place is a gem and I'd like to try their other menu items.
