Our experience here on a Sunday for lunch was mediocre at best. I had the tempura fish tacos and my husband had the loaded chicken. Nothing special. My daughter said she didn't like her chicken tenders and did not eat more than a bite or two. I took a bite and told her I did not blame her. Our queso fundido starter was tasty, but the tortillas that came with it tasted storebought. On the plus side, service was prompt and friendly. We were not served chips and salsa, however. Maybe those are only on request since I saw some tables had them? A little unusual for a Mexican restaurant. We wanted to like it but were seriously underwhelmed. It's crazy what little $100 gets you these days: one appetizer, two adult entrees, one kid's meal, three drinks, and tip. But so it is. Nothing particularly terrible to say, but dining out feels more like a luxury today than it ever has, and we won't be parting with our hard-earned money here again.

We were on the search for some beers and Mexican food. This place hit the spot! My fajitas were So bomb! Service was fast and friendly , the ambience is very lively. They had someone playing music and he was great. He had a very nice voice and sang some really nice Corridos. Definitely returning to this place!

BANDA IS TOO LOUD for this small restaurant. I'm disappointed. I wanted to like this place. The service was great. The food and drinks were good, and the paintings on the walls are fantastic. Unfortunately, Banda music was way too loud. The music was so loud that it was irritating and we couldn't enjoy our food, drinks, the service or the artwork because we had to eat really fast to get out of there! I love listening to live music while having dinner, but not when it's so loud that it's piercing my ears and I can't talk and converse with the person I'm spending dinner with. Even the servers wait in-between songs to talk to their customers. As a musician who plays at restaurants... I can't help but analyze what the band could have done to make this experience better to help both them and the restaurant. The band had 10 members with tuba, trombone, 3 trumpets, a bugle, percussion, bass drum, 2 singers. They were set-up outside, but the speakers pointed directly into the restaurant. In addition, the horns had microphones. These instruments are already naturally loud. They don't need mics or should be mixed at a lower volume. We sat right in front of the band, and as soon as they started, we moved to the back of the restaurant. We still couldn't talk to each other. As soon as we got our food, we ate really fast and left. I would have given our server a better tip if I enjoyed being there.

Came here on Valentine's Day, it was not super crowded I'm guessing just a few locals. We were seated very quickly and our drink order was taken. Little surprised there were no chips and salsa, but didn't matter the atmosphere was good. We placed our order and that when the service ended. We could not find our waitress, and when we did she was too busy having conversations with other waitress. We received our food, and it looked amazing. I was really excited since the plate looked delicious. Too bad the food did not come out hot. So disappointed, I wanted to let the waitress know but she was M.IA. I had asked for no rice just more beans and she brought it out the wrong way (which was the kitchens fault). Still no waitress so I started eating, my friend did wait and when she got there he told her and I told her about the beans, she apologized and took his plate and said she would get me more beans. Again, she was very sweet and polite, she just had other things on her mind. We got our food back and his shrimp enchiladas was still cold but the little bowl of beans came out hot. She apologized for the cold food and we just gave up after that. We ate it cold. The poblano and chipotle enchiladas were so flavorful and the shrimp was cooked perfectly to bad they served it cold and not hot. My husbands fajitas were hot and steaming but again the rice and beans all cold. My other friends wife carne asada burrito all hot and amazing. They did give all the ladies candy so thank you for that. Great music, nice ambiance, just needs work on the heat of their food and attention to customer service with refills!

My first time here & everything we had was amazing! Alejandra is such a sweet server & was so helpful in helping us decide on what to order and she didn't miss! Everything she recommended HIT! The micheladas are so yummy, & I'm so picky about michis! The rice was buttery, & fluffy & cooked perfectly! The enchilada poblano was rich & STUFFED with shrimp and cheese. But the star of the show was the Tostada Ceviche!!! Hands down the best ceviche I've ever had! Thank you Alejandra - we're from menifee but will definitely be back here!

Literally a PERFECT experience!!! The food is AMAZING! And the service from server Ruby was EXCEPTIONAL!! She is professional and talentedYou feel comfortable and pampered just enough! The Hibiscus margarita was surprisingly just right. Definitely left me craving another! The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable yet casual enough to make the experience epic!

If you're looking for a gentrified mid Mexican restaurant this is the spot! We had the menudo that tasted like straight water, the eggs were overcooked; how do you mess up on eggs... you can tell the back staff don't have a passion for cooking. Overall the food was just bland. Service wasn't great either, the waitress was hardly attentive and her face turned sour whenever we asked for items we were messing such as utensils. read more

Second time here and just as great as the first time! Betty our server is sweet as can be and made us some spicy skinny margaritas that were perfect. The tacos dorados, highly recommend-- crunchy but not greasy. Ask for extra salsa for your chips because you're going to love that too! read more

Pulpo enamorado is great! Love that plate. However, service could be more attentive. My wife got a taco order but the beans were disgusting, felt like they were taken out of a can and reheated? When brought to the attention of the server she agreed that she does not like them either, seems like there is an issue there. Music is pretty loud for just a couple of guests around. Another thing I noticed are the tables peeling off, really bad first impressions, a tv is broken right next to the bar and has not been replaced. The menu is all scratched out of things they no longer have. Very unprofessional. read more

Horrible service ! Took over 2 hours to be served food and we witnessed multiple people leaving the restaurant due to the wait. Food was coming out one plate at a time for parties which resulted in others at the table still having to wait for there food that by the time it came out others had either already finished or waited so long that there dish went cold. After all this we asked for a discount for the inconvenience and the servers told us no and we got left with a bill of $200.00. The least they could do was offer a discount. read more

We came here to celebrate Mother's Day. The wait to be seated wasn't bad it was 20 mins. Once we sat down they took our drink orders then nothing... literally nothing. The food took over an hour to get to us. A lot of people got up and left because of the wait. In the meantime whole people are waiting they can at least check on refills or offer chips and salsa. When we finally got our food the plates were hot but the food wasn't. My husband's menudo looked like they had given him the left overs with literally a couple pieces of meat. We had to even ask for utensils. read more

Went in Sunday for Mother's Day at first the service was good until we waited 30 mins for our check all the dirty plates were still left on the table it wasn't busy at all they only had 5 tables there so disappointing in having to find another server to pay for our food the food wasn't good either read more

We were charging our electric BMW at the Tesla charging station with our Tesla adapter and we came across this hidden gem. They had a great option of both alcohol and nonalcoholic drinks, and their food was authentic and tasty. The service was great, our waitress Betti was kind, efficient, and friendly. Our food came quick and we finished it fast. The overall ambience of the place was good, with beautiful murals and great Mexican music. read more

The restaurant is really nice inside had music playing and it was not too loud which was plus for me. The waitress was so helpful since it was our first time there she recommended a lot of great dishes, she also mentioned how they have mariachi on the weekends so we will definitely go back for that. The food was delicious I was surprised by the size of the tacos and the quantity of the food, they serve a lot. Also the margaritas are by far the best tasting margaritas I have had in a while. They were so refreshing! Very affordable also! read more

We were visiting from out of town and found this restaurant. We ordered two different kinds of Enchilada plates and we both thought they were excellent. There was good music playing and the service was good. They were also getting ready to have live Mariachi's play which they have every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. We would recommend this place. read more

A pleasant surprise. Tried this on a whim. Decor is lively and open. Very good food. I ordered the steak tacos w rice and beans. The shells were crispy yet not greasy like other places. Refried Beans and the rice were very fresh. My sister had the shrimp tacos. MASSIVE! margaritas are strong with crushed ice. Ruby our waitress was awesome! Very helpful and as friendly as can be. They have breakfast till 1. Breakfast Menu looks great. Very diverse. Looks like live music some nights Also. read more

Met my cousin here (he's a local) and raved about the menudo and chorizo burrito "his favorite combo" haha. He was 100% right! Didn't disappoint. I devoured it-- sorry don't have any pics but I'm making it a point to return again and I will post pics! I had to leave review though. Only gripe was waitress mixed up some things , she was nice and great maybe she got confused. Either way the food made up for it . Give this place a try. read more

Stop by for some dinner and was greeted & sat right away . Restaurant at a great vibe to it with fire pits outside . We ordered our food with appetizers/ drinks . Food came out quick & hot with cold drinks to follow . Our dishes had us wanting more and thinking of what to try next time . Waiter took good care of us and checked on us frequently. read more

Restaurant has a large roll up door to patio area. Allowing all the noise and exhaust outside to enter within, while eating. Restaurant Music was very loud as well. Appetizer chicken legs were frozen in the middle. Carne Steak strips were like chewing rubber, and Not edible. salsa was not fresh and so acidic. Chips were old and had soaked up the fry grease and turned chewy. Cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

I'm not from around here so I was looking for a good breakfast place and I decided to give them a try. Let me tell you they did not disappoint! Elvia was out server and she was very sweet and attentive with us. We ordered the traditional breakfast and the machaca and it was beyond delicious! Definitely 5 star rating. As we were about to leave I mentioned to Elvia that I'm always on a look out for a good menudo so she brought me a small sample to try theirs and it was to my expectations. With such great service we decided to come back for dinner on that same day. Elvia was no longer there but Betty helped us and again we received great service! I of course got the menudo and my husband got the asada plate. Once again the food was exceptional and did not disappoint. We also ordered some drinks that were very good. I ordered a hibiscus margarita very good. All in all you must check them out you won't be disappointed read more

A favorite to go have Breakfast or Dinner. Brenda our waitress is very nice and thorough but I went today (Sunday) was busy but I've seen it busier and I only ordered a bowl of menudo, nothing they had to cook or make just scoop and put it into n a bowl. I waited 50 min!!!!! I've already told all my friends at the Country Club to try this place out, now I'm not sure. Not sure IF Im returning. . Really disappointed in service today. read more

The service and food was AMAZING. We felt so taken care of! Super family friendly atmosphere with a fun vibe. All the staff worked together so naturally providing amazing service! Brought us a high chair, got us our kids food first, brought us things without us having to ask. The music wasn't too loud but just right! We enjoyed this dinner so much. A warm La Quinta evening, desert air finally cooling off, a solid live duet working the patio with the kind of soundtrack that should make mediocre food taste better than it is. For a few minutes, you think maybe this place is going to deliver on the promise. Then the flamingo arrived. Or at least that's what the bright pink polo shirt on our server suggested. Somewhere between Palm Springs golf tournament and poolside timeshare mixer, the uniform choice set the tone immediately: completely off-brand for a resort carrying the La Quinta name. To her credit, the server herself was pleasant enough. But pleasant is table stakes at a resort property. Competence, polish, awareness, that's what people are paying for. The twenty-ounce margaritas landed with all the sophistication of a fraternity mixer. Sweet, forgettable, and somehow both weak and aggressive at the same time. I've had better drinks poured into Solo cups at parties where the furniture was stolen from somebody's dorm room. Then came the food. The chips tasted stale, like they'd spent the afternoon losing a slow battle with desert air. The ceviche? Rubbery and tired. Seafood should taste alive. This tasted like it had already accepted its fate hours earlier. Sylvia ordered the Caesar salad, and it looked exactly like what it was: something assembled without care, without attention, without anybody stopping for even a moment to ask whether it represented the standards of a resort restaurant. She barely made it halfway through. Oddly enough, the lone bright spot was my chicken enchiladas verde. Solid. Comforting. Not life-changing, but at least prepared by someone who appeared interested in their job that evening. But the real problem at Adobe Grill isn't the food. Restaurants recover from mediocre dishes all the time. The real problem is culture. Or more accurately, the complete absence of one. The food runner couldn't answer even the simplest questions. The service staff moved with that unmistakable energy of people who were never properly trained because nobody above them really cared enough to train them. Empty plates sat on the table for what felt like half the night. Nobody cleared them. Nobody reset or groomed the table. Crumbs, empty glasses, dirty dishes, they just accumulated while the evening slowly unraveled. At a place carrying the La Quinta name, that level of inattentiveness is stunning. And then the manager arrived, or more accurately, drifted by. No eye contact. No engagement. No sincerity. Just a quick pit stop at the table to perform the illusion of management before immediately turning away and loudly shouting to another group thirty feet off as though we had already ceased to exist. That moment explained the entire restaurant. Because once you start looking closer, you see it everywhere. Bird droppings baked into chairs and railings long enough to become part of the décor. Neglected details. Deferred maintenance. Staff operating without direction. A restaurant surviving almost entirely on atmosphere and location while slowly forgetting hospitality itself. And that's the frustrating part. The bones are there. The patio. The music. The desert night. This place should be magical. Instead, it feels like a resort coasting on reputation while the little things, the things that actually matter,quietly fall apart in plain sight. And honestly, the restaurant may not even be the biggest issue. But that's a whole separate review.

I was craving some authentic Mexican food for my Birthday dinner, I heard about this place in the Coachella Valley from a friend so I decided to check it out. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by their host who always makes sure you're taken care of. The place is a modern style Mexican cantina with the Mariachi that is very entertaining. Don't miss out on their seafood its very good and fresh. The hot food is also very good, it has the best homemade flavors you can get. Let's not forget the drinks, I ordered a fresh cucumber margarita and it was good and refreshing. Parna the manager even came out and made us feel right out home. I am originally from Houston. And Oh my god these are the best chilaquiles I've tried so far. Apart from home made ones. Very authentic!

Tacos and food are really good. Good customer service I would recommend to buy their asada tacos with flour tortillas
