After a doctor's appointment in Palm Desert we stumbled upon this restaurant and we were glad to have stoped by. The service was great our server was really nice and recommended what to get since it was our first time. They had freshly squeezed orange juice that was amazing. The avocado toast was not the typical abocado toast I've had it had pico de gallo on it which added so much flavor. I really liked it, it was bursting with so many flavors. The arugula salad on the side was yummy as well the dressing they used complimented well with the avocado toast sweet and savory. My husband got the breakfast plate which he loved. The inside of the restaurant was really nice with a lot to look at. It seemed like we were definitely in another country. I'm glad we found this gem we'll stop by every doctor's appointment now.

The service was quick and friendly. This place has a lot of space to accommodate large parties. It a more elevated diner setting. The corn beef seemed like it was recooked and it was sitting out a little bit. Overall, I think the other food options we got were good and I would come back again.

Came for brunch on a Saturday morning. We ate on the beautiful patio, which is covered by a big sunshade. Our server, Maribel, was really friendly and attentive. Our party ordered vanilla lattes, Belgian French toast, an American crêpe, Tuscany Benedict, and a mango waffle. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Look no further!!

What's the best recommendation for a great restaurant? In our experience, it's when we meet friends who encourage us to try a dining establishment where they have recently eaten and loved! We were spending a few days vacationing in Palm Springs and attending the Indian Wells Tennis tournament when our friends told us about Si Bon, a Belgian restaurant at 40101 Montery Avenue in Rancho Mirage . We had a fabulous dinner thznks to Raul, our wonderful waiter who took such good care of us, I wanted to give him a special thanks!

We got take out for brunch recently. We got the waffle with strawberry custard and santa fe crepe. For takeout, the food was still warm and really good when we ate it. The waffle was nice and crispy on the outside and paired well with the cold custard and fresh fruits. It wasnt too sweet and was the perfect tangy and sweet flavor for breakfast. The santa fe crepe was my favorite type of savory crepe. It had fresh eggs, arugula, avocado, and turkey inside. The potatoes were fried perfectly with a nice crisp on the outside. Both items were really good and satisfying for our brunch/breakfast. I would definitely go back to dine in and try some of their other items.

OVERALL: A rough Belgian flare... not gourmet at all. BERRIES & CUSTARD CREPE: The most berries I think I have ever had in my life in a crepe with a price tag of only $11. Although there was a blueberry drizzle, the berries were fresh. Points knocked for the grainy custard. Surprisingly no whipped cream. Syrup is provided on the side. SPANISH OMELETTE: Tender egg exterior. Stuffing was proportional but not plentiful. Interesting home fries that were in chunks...dry and a smidget of crisp. Biscuit and arugula on the side. Hot sauce (chula) and self packaged ketchup provided by wait staff. CAPP: Lots of foam. Not a dilute espresso. SERVICE: Omg, finding a server and ordering was like pulling hair. Not very attentive. Asked once how it's going. AMBIENCE: Casual with lots of retirees. Restrooms available. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service fee not automatically included. Located in the Albertsons plaza. Private parking lot. Would I come back? No.

Exceptional service. Delicious . Amazing ambience. I never had before waffles with fried chicken and it was delicious!! The waffle was crisp and chicken cooked perfectly. I loved everything about it. Our waiter was extremely polite . Thanks

About 25 minutes south of Palm Springs, Si Bon sits on the corner of a strip mall with a spacious, dog friendly patio and effortless brunch vibes. We weren't very hungry but needed something to carry us through to dinner, which led to a long debate between a savory crêpe with Gruyère cheese and the house made corned beef hash eggs Benedict. We went with the latter and weren't disappointed, especially thanks to the fries, which unexpectedly stole the show. These weren't your average fries, and I regret not taking a photo. The corned beef hash paired beautifully with a slightly tangy hollandaise, the eggs were poached perfectly, and the portion was generous enough to share. I did wish for a bit more corned beef, but overall it was a satisfying plate. We sat on the garden patio where our server was wonderfully attentive to both us and our dogs, bringing out ice water on a warm afternoon even though our pups were fully exhausted from the dog park. We would come back, especially to finally try that crêpe.

So glad to find this gem on the list of partner restaurants recommended by the Marriott and Westin resorts. If you are a timeshare owner, you also get a special card to receive a 10% discount. However regardless of discount, this was an excellent meal at very reasonable prices! We came for lunch and there's such a nice variety of options. We looked around to see what people were eating and the ladies on the table next to ours highly recommended the Fresh Papaya Salad, so we ordered that and wow! It was not only beautiful but delicious with half a perfectly sweet and ripe papaya, lean chicken salad that tasted very good and healthy, and a variety of veggies including two spears of asparagus and a generous sprinkling of macadamia nuts. The dressing also tasted light and refreshing. It was very filling and delicious yet you felt like you were being super healthy. We also ordered the Aged Pastrami Waffle sandwich with fries because we saw it at another table. The waffle was perfectly crispy, the pastrami and cheese and cole slaw inside the sandwich was plentiful, the fries tasted fresh and lightly crispy on outside and soft and warm on inside. The ketchup tasted homemade. Halfway through the meal we noticed the other table next to use with sampler platters and turned out I didn't notice it on the board outside! That would have been another amazing option...but I'm still happy with our selection. Gotta go back next time to try other items when we are back in the area! Service was attentive and friendly. The place was clean and bright and nicely decorated.

Si Bon will always be this little gem in the desert every time I visit. Trust the reviews. They're all positive for a reason. My fellow Yelpers did not fail me when it came to Si Bon. My husband and I had travel contracts at the nearby hospital and this was our favorite spot to have breakfast after a busy night shift. Every time we celebrated completing a contract, we would come here with our coworkers. It's very inviting, clean, the staff is attentive, the food is tasty and never fails. I have normally come in for breakfast and order the corned beef eggs Benedict. Today my family of 4 came in for brunch. It was about a 15 minute wait on a Sunday and the place was packed. I opted to try something new from my usual. Omg their grilled vegetable plate with chimichurri sauce with a side of grilled chicken was delicious. It had grilled red bell peppers, Japanese eggplant, asparagus, shitaki mushrooms and tomatoes. I promise you nothing here will disappoint. Thank you for being consistent and I will keep coming back.

Came for brunch this afternoon and the service here was top notch! Staff is very friendly and there are plenty of food options to choose from. We ordered the French crepe, fried chicken sandwich, and mango stuffed Belgian waffle. The custard on top of the waffle was delicious. We left here very full and happy! Highly recommend checking out if you're in the Rancho mirage area.

We arrived 15 minutes early and decided to have a cocktail in bar while waiting for table. We were told they were running 5-10 minutes behind but the Maitre D came to seat us before our cocktails were even ordered. lol We were sat on the fabulous patio with a gorgeous view of the scene. Good people watching if that's your thing. The first white jacketed back waiter took our water order and brought warm baguette with butter. For cocktails we had absolutely perfect gimlets on the rocks. Not too sweet or tart. Just right. Then another brought us an appetizer as a mea culpa for running late! ( They never were!) It was a wonderful cauliflower soup. Our main waiter came by to introduce himself, Jonathon( excellent, request him!) and explain the menu which was handwritten on white board. Love that! We ordered filet tartare, lobster ravioli and sea bass. They were all perfectly prepared and delicious. For dessert we devoured the chocolate soufflé. Don't skip on a chocolate soufflé! They are a rare commodity in dining these days. Other reviews noted high prices. I live in a big city where the prices are comparable if not higher. So we found them commensurate with the quality of food and level of service. I would dine here weekly if I were local, or at least cocktails at the bar. Kate, the manager I believe, stopped by to make sure all well too. You won't find better service in Palm Springs let alone other major cities!

We ordered cocktails then looked at the easel menu when it was finally presented. My friend ordered the Escargot appetizer and the Lamb for his entree. I ordered the Crunchy Boston Scallops and the Lobster Ravioli for my entree. When the dishes were served they were all presented beautifully. All the dishes tasted heavenly... OMG the Scallops, I LOVED. We would definitely come back, when in Palm Springs. Atmosphere: beautiful patio venue. Service: good. Food: excellent.

We had parked nearby when I first seen it and remember seeing how busy it looked so it was on the list of places to check out in Palm Desert. Mother's Day, we were out and about trying to find a place for a late brunch and ended up walking around. Of course I remembered the place and decided it's now or never since we were here. The restaurant as it's on a corner lot had a really nice open patio which what caught our eyes the first time. I honestly thought that was the only part of the restaurant but they did have some seating inside with the tufted bar booth as well as the side back patio. That part didn't seemed to be utilized. We checked in with the hostess which we did get seated pretty fast. They were cleaning up one of the tables on the patio looking out to the street. It was busy but not too crazy as it was towards the end. Found out they close at 3 in preparation for dinner. Menu wise for brunch, fairly decent. Nothing major like WoW. Started off with some cold beer which bread and butter was also brought out. Meal, we just went with a salad as it was hot out and an easy eat. The Niçoise salad with tuna. It was canned tuna so I substituted for the seared ahi for an additional fee. Also the curry chicken salad. Niçoise salad was good, green beans with diced potatoes, hard boil eggs, olives, tomatoes, onions and anchovies and the added seared ahi tuna. It was good but nothing major with the romaine lettuce. Tuna was tasty. The curry chicken salad was a scoop accompanied by slices of guava on top a portion of shredded lettuce. To me it could be more of a snack as the portion was pretty small but great for a light meal. Flavors were tasty and it was nice. Overall lunch was good. The food was good and service was nice. They were closing in 45 minutes when we arrived so we thought we were going to be rushed but it was fine. Food didn't take long to come out. The place is nice with the patio seating that open and looks out to the street. There's loads of mister along the top that helps with cooling down as well as the curtains that come down. A cute little French restaurant in the desert. Maybe dinner is needed next time.

We were seated in the back of the restaurant, closer to the kitchen, which I don't think is nearly as nice as the front. It's not unpleasant, just not as nice. I was annoyed when the next table got their cocktail order in before us because they were seated after us. We got a different server, who took a while. The host had only provided a cocktail and wine list, so we weren't able to use that time to figure out dinner. Eventually the server came by. He knew his stuff, and went through everything we needed to know, but it was also clear that he was flat out. He asked if we wanted water, but then forgot and when we prompted him, one came with ice even though our guest requested no ice. Inital round of cocktails was on point, though no extra olives as requested by one. Not a huge deal. Drinks were excellent. Bread service and the beet salad were also quite good. I got the swordfish special. Swordfish is not my favorite fish, but the prep (pineapple black bean chutney) enticed me and it was very good. Another got the caper-lemon schnitzel. Another got the chicken curry. The curry was not as good as hoped; I think it was a little thin. No complaints on the schnitzel. Dessert and coffee were offered but we were full.
