My family and I went to Si Bon this Sunday for brunch. The restaurant was very busy, but we were seated quickly since we made reservations. We were a party of 7. It was a hot day, and we were seated outside. The misters and fan made the hot environment much more comfortable. Things were going well until it was time to order. One of the folks in our party requested to have her check separate, at which point, certain parties also decided to request separate checks. Our waiter initially said he would be willing to cut the checks however we wanted, which we did. As he finished taking our order, he walked into the main entry door way and gave a large sigh saying "Ayayay" as if he was bothered that we requested separate checks. I turned his way and saw that he was caught with his sigh. That left a bad taste for our party during the meal. We eventually let that go, and when it was time for dessert, we ordered 2 desserts, and before we gave him the 2 desserts we wanted, our server sarcastically stated with an attitude, "Who is paying for the desserts?". Again, that didn't sit well with us. I believe the main servers' name was Ramiro. Tall gentleman with glasses. There was another individual who was helping him refill coffees/teas at the table along with other small requests. He was very nice and friendly and demonstrated customer friendly at ALL TIMES despite the numerous requests for refills. The food overall was pretty good and tasty. Great coffee. A fine dining experience. I am giving this experience an overall 2 because of how our main server demonstrated less than customer friendly service to the customers sitting at the table. I would ask that management remind their servers to maintain a more professional/service friendly demeanor at all times despite how busy they are. read more

Font on the sign looks like it was created at Disneyland. Nice ambiance walking in. But smells a little musty. Complimentary fresh bread is warm, delicious, and crusty accompanied by French butter that doesn't taste like regular plain ol' butter. Might be the best tasting butter I've ever had and served at the right temperature and consistency. I loathe butter that's so cold I can't even spread it and need to incubate it in my hands for a few min. Beef stroganoff with extra sauce, since I love me my sauces, was a 9.37/10. If you ever liked the beef stroganoff microwave meals when you were a kid, even remotely, you'll love this dish. Talk about hitting the spot. I proceeded to eat more bread dipping it in this sauce. The pasta was fresh, nice and chewy. Mussels with fries were good. 8.22/10. Nice big portion with plenty of broth. Pro tip if anyone is trying to get a little tipsy: All the wine was not cooked off. Also more bread dipped in this sauce. Also spooned it up like a soup. Seafood pasta, ordered twice since one wasn't enough! Solid 8.89/10! Altered this with a tomato based sauce rather than the creamy clam sauce as the 3 taste testers don't like creamy sauce. Fresh chewy pasta once again. Si bon! What a lovely place to get a meal. The interior is very cute I find the decor beautiful. I went for breakfast today. They serve Lavazza coffee which is one of my favorites! I ordered the mango waffle and my mom got the French crepe. Everything was tasty and we shared the dishes so we could taste it all. We got take out for brunch recently. We got the waffle with strawberry custard and santa fe crepe. For takeout, the food was still warm and really good when we ate it. The waffle was nice and crispy on the outside and paired well with the cold custard and fresh fruits. It wasnt too sweet and was the perfect tangy and sweet flavor for breakfast. The santa fe crepe was my favorite type of savory crepe. It had fresh eggs, arugula, avocado, and turkey inside. The potatoes were fried perfectly with a nice crisp on the outside. Both items were really good and satisfying for our brunch/breakfast. I would definitely go back to dine in and try some of their other items. read more

After a doctor's appointment in Palm Desert we stumbled upon this restaurant and we were glad to have stoped by. The service was great our server was really nice and recommended what to get since it was our first time. They had freshly squeezed orange juice that was amazing. The avocado toast was not the typical abocado toast I've had it had pico de gallo on it which added so much flavor. I really liked it, it was bursting with so many flavors. The arugula salad on the side was yummy as well the dressing they used complimented well with the avocado toast sweet and savory. My husband got the breakfast plate which he loved. I came here for a group dinner last night! There's seating inside and outdoor in a patio. I ordered a spicy margarita; it was okay. For food, I had a beet salad without the goat cheese and even without the cheese, it was still delicious. Lots of beets, arugula, and tomatoes. For my main, I had sole stuffed with lobster without the pesto sauce. This was super delicious, I loved every bite. I tried some of the grilled and sliced flat iron steak and frites which was okay but I liked the sole way more. The mango sorbet for dessert was delicious and tasted so fresh and like the actual fruit itself. I also had some of their raspberry pistachio cake which was a real treat. About 25 minutes south of Palm Springs, Si Bon sits on the corner of a strip mall with a spacious, dog friendly patio and effortless brunch vibes. We weren't very hungry but needed something to carry us through to dinner, which led to a long debate between a savory crêpe with Gruyère cheese and the house made corned beef hash eggs Benedict. We went with the latter and weren't disappointed, especially thanks to the fries, which unexpectedly stole the show. These weren't your average fries, and I regret not taking a photo. The corned beef hash paired beautifully with a slightly tangy hollandaise, the eggs were poached perfectly, and the portion was generous enough to share. I did wish for a bit more corned beef, but overall it was a satisfying plate. We sat on the garden patio where our server was wonderfully attentive to both us and our dogs, bringing out ice water on a warm afternoon even though our pups were fully exhausted from the dog park. So glad to find this gem on the list of partner restaurants recommended by the Marriott and Westin resorts. If you are a timeshare owner, you also get a special card to receive a 10% discount. However regardless of discount, this was an excellent meal at very reasonable prices! We came for lunch and there's such a nice variety of options. We looked around to see what people were eating and the ladies on the table next to ours highly recommended the Fresh Papaya Salad, so we ordered that and wow! It was not only beautiful but delicious with half a perfectly sweet and ripe papaya, lean chicken salad that tasted very good and healthy, and a variety of veggies including two spears of asparagus and a generous sprinkling of macadamia nuts. The dressing also tasted light and refreshing. It was very filling and delicious yet you felt like you were being super healthy. We also ordered the Aged Pastrami Waffle sandwich with fries because we saw it at another table. The waffle was perfectly crispy, the pastrami and cheese and cole slaw inside the sandwich was plentiful, the fries tasted fresh and lightly crispy on outside and soft and warm on inside. Every time we celebrated completing a contract, we would come here with our coworkers. It's very inviting, clean, the staff is attentive, the food is tasty and never fails. I have normally come in for breakfast and order the corned beef eggs Benedict. Today my family of 4 came in for brunch. It was about a 15 minute wait on a Sunday and the place was packed. I opted to try something new from my usual. Omg their grilled vegetable plate with chimichurri sauce with a side of grilled chicken was delicious. Stopped in for breakfast the day before Thanksgiving. I thought it would be crowded, but it wasn't. We sat outside. The heaters were almost too hot. We shared the French toast waffles, bacon, and the croque monsuer. The waffle is soaked in French toast treatment before cooking and is delicious. The croque is ham and Swiss between 2 waffles, with hollandaise sauce, and a fried egg on top. It was sooo good! Food was good, service was ehhhh. It first started when I called and asked if they allowed dogs in their patio, the girl who answered the phone did not seem happy nor inviting. She gave the same vibe when I checked in. I am not sure if they purposely sat us on the side away from everyone else because we had a dog, but it felt kinda odd since I seen others sat up front with misbehaved dogs, and I have a well-trained puppy. They sat us in the sun, and when I asked the waiter if we can sit at another table behind us so we can be I the shade - at this point two other employees were involved and seemed really upset about it. When I asked for a box to go, the waiter said nothing to me and I had to ask someone else for a box after waiting. The manager or owner, seemed nice but checked in every table but ours.
