We celebrated our friend's anniversary here and the food was so good. The ambiance and service were good. I will definitely be back when I'm in town.

The three of ate here for the first time because we are having a hard time finding a good sushi restaurant in Coachella Valley. I know they have Mexican food, but they also have sushi. They have a large and varied menu with everything ala carte. We were overall very pleased with the sushi however it takes some getting used to because the flavors are infused and somewhat unusual. We all loved the spicy edamame. Everything was on the spicy side which is ok with us. We loved our server , Irene and the atmosphere was lovely also. Irene told us the name of the restaurant is a song . We will be back to try the tacos and some of the other dishes that they have. I wish them luck as they are new.

Wow, this place totally does everything right. We loved the atmosphere, the service and and even more importantly, the FOOD! 10/10 recommend

What a little gem we found while visiting Palm Desert. I had the Quesabirrias (chefs kiss) and the hubby had the Ribeye tacos both were amazing so flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth dishes. Highly recommend. The waitress was so friendly and attentive great experience we'll be back for sure.

Food: 3.5 Service: 4 Ambiance: 4 Bohemios Prime in Palm Desert is such a beautiful spot. From the moment we walked in, I loved the ambiance. It's dark, sultry, and aesthetically pleasing. The dramatic paintings on the dark walls paired with the lush emerald green seating create such a moody and inviting vibe. It definitely feels like a great place for a date night, a girls night, or just a nice night out. When we arrived, it wasn't too crowded, so we were seated and served quickly. The service was very friendly and efficient, which always sets the tone for the evening. We ordered the horchata and jamaica agua frescas, and both were extremely delicious and refreshing. For an appetizer, we got the corn elote, which surprised us because it came as a whole corn rib rather than cut pieces, but it was still tasty and fun to try. For our main dish, we ordered the molcajete, which came out sizzling and smelled amazing. I especially enjoyed the shrimp, cheese, and cactus the most. While I do think the molcajete could have been slightly more flavorful, it was still delicious overall. It was served with corn tortillas, and although rice and beans would have been a nice addition, there was plenty of food and we left satisfied. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It looked beautiful, but flavor wise it didn't quite blow me away. As the night went on, the restaurant got busier and service understandably slowed down a bit, but the staff remained friendly throughout, which I really appreciated. Overall, I truly enjoyed the food, the service was great, and the ambiance was excellent. I will definitely come if I'm in town!

Upon entering into this restaurant, we received a warm welcome. We asked for a few recommendations for what we should order. We were told the tacos were amazing, a few of the sushi rolls were described as delicious. so we decided to order the ribeye tacos and the Olga's sushi roll. Before our food came, we had the most delicious Caesar salad. One of the best I've had in a really long time. I can't remember the last time I had a meal that was so delicious. The ribeye was tender and seasoned perfectly and sat on a bed of fresh guacamole nestled into homemade corn tortillas. The sushi roll was fresh with a hint of Ponzo and lemon. It was delightful! I don't know if I've ever had a drink as yummy as the Jamaica con guayaha. This restaurant deserves five stars.

Took my daughter to celebrate her birthday and we all loved the decor. Food was great too. Service could have been better tho. I will go back because the food was amazing but if service doesn't improve we wont be back.

So happy we tried this place. Everything about this place was great. Service, ambiance and more importantly the food. The Cerviche Tostada was refreshing and well done. The Olga roll (didn't expect that) was light and all the flavors were excellent. The winner of course were the prime tacos. We tried the corn cake for dessert which was nice. Will definitely come back as the food is all very well appointed and unexpected. Will even be better when they get their liquor license. They do serve wine.

Mojara, aguachiles negros, atún, rib eye tacos. All were 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We came for brunch and it was so delicious. I got the chilaquiles w/ skirt steak, which aren't traditional, the "chips" are more like corn tortilla quesadillas with crispy edges. The steak was tender and well seasoned. The waitress took a while to bring out a knife, but the meat was tender enough that I made do with two forks. lol. It was very good and a different take on a classic. My husband got the Barbacoa de Res. He said it was good, tender and the consumme was great. It came with perfect handmade corn tortillas, rice, beans and onion/cilantro/lime on the side. My two boys shared over easy eggs, bacon and a side of fruit. They ate it all, which for toddlers can be rare. We had no leftovers! Will definitely return...we want to try the dinner menu. I do hope they stock more high chairs as they only had one. Otherwise, great experience.

GREAT POTENTIAL but fell SHORT! ATMOSPHERE: Walking in to Bohemios it's very nice and new. It has a good look that had great promise. Problem was it was empty! Not one other customer which is a bit suspect. It had a heavy Hispanic influence with soccer on the big screen, probably would been better served with cool Latin music. The chefs kept peaking out to watch the game. They need a door or curtain so we don't look straight into the kitchen. Moving on... FOOD was spot on! Tacos were excellent, and they had sushi as well. It was all spot on. SERVICE was excellent, our waitress was prompt, and attentive. We were her only customers, but she was great. The main issue is a nice restaurant posing as a sports bar for its employees. It was strange to have them staring at us because the big screen was behind our table. I would try it again in hopes they fix a few things as the food was great!

The restaurant is closed but it shows on yelp it's open..,

They made me waste my time by coming here because it says it's open on yelp but on their door it says it opens at 10am...

Our sever was extremely knowledgeable about what vegan options they offer . I opted for the veggie fajitas ( omit sour cream ) . They were DELICIOUS! A couple cons for me ; Prices are pretty high in my opinion for Mexican cuisine my fajitas plate was $24 ( and if you order guac it's $18 ) & oddly the water tasted so off to us . Loved the Mexican dolls and aesthetic. We would absolutely come back . Tip ; ask for the hot house salsa & grilled jalapeños.

The bar was super busy and lots of people watching sports on the multiple TV's. Our waiter was friendly got us a milder salsa for kids and hotter one for me. The salsa was good, but for California I expected spicier and more flavorful. The service overall was great. We ordered the Tacos for 2 which was a lot of food. Our kids even made a few smaller tacos. It comes with 4 proteins- beef, chicken, pork and chorizo along with a ton of other accompaniments. We also each got a plate of rice and refried beans which is included. We all really liked the food and the service was great! There is also a back area which would be good when it wasn't so hot- we were there during a heat wave.

My daughter and I stood at the entrance for several minutes without being greeted. During that time, the manager was visibly overwhelmed and speaking harshly to the young hostesses, who appeared uncomfortable and trying to maintain composure. Despite this, no one acknowledged us until I offered a friendly "Happy Cinco de Mayo," at which point a hostess kindly stepped in to seat us. Unfortunately, the situation escalated. Twice, as we were being seated, the manager abruptly intervened -- placing reserved signs down and yelling at the hostess, myself and daughter we could not sit there. His tone was harsh, dismissive, and unnecessarily confrontational. This happened two times at two different tables that we were escorted to by the hostess and in front of my young daughter. Needless to say it was both uncomfortable and humiliating. I have never experienced a restaurant manager behave with this level of disrespect toward a guest, especially a woman with her child. I felt embarrassed and heartbroken that my daughter had to witness this. When I calmly approached him to understand the situation, he responded by stating they had "400 reservations," followed by dismissive and aggressive body language that made it clear we were not welcome. The interaction ended with us leaving and both tears. My daughter said "I'm scared mommy, why was that man so mean". A guest from the restaurant who was dinning and witnessed the incident came out just to see if we were ok. Equally concerning was how he treated his own staff, especially female staff setting a negative and unprofessional tone throughout the front of house. As someone from a fourth-generation family in the restaurant industry, I find this especially disheartening. I would be deeply concerned if any manager in our organization treated a guest or employees this way. I understand holidays are demanding, but being busy does not excuse a lack of basic respect and professionalism. I am sharing this in hopes that upper management addresses this directly. No woman / person and her child should have to experience this kind of treatment.

Since moving here some nine months ago I've eaten at a dozen or so. Some OK. Most very good, some great and even one awful. Guadalajara Café & Bar is an absolute stand out. It's my new go to spot. I knew I was in a good place when I saw how many people walked in and were clearly known to the staff as regulars. The decor is simple, clean and you can see the cooks working through the busy pass through. Plenty of parking. The chips are fresh, crispy and lightly salted. The salsa is outstanding with the right amount of heat. It was lunch time and I'm not much for alcohol so I didn't try any of the drink offerings this visit... next time! Between two of us we ordered the fish tacos which were excellent. Also had the chili relleno which, unless I'm mistaken was battered and fried when ordered, not left sitting waiting to be ordered, huge difference! And the sauce on the relleno was perfect. Also had the mole enchilada with it. Again, unless I'm mistaken the mole was made fresh in house and was the best I've had in a long time. The waitstaff was great efficient, attentive and made sure we were happy. And were they hustling! Busy place and they didn't miss a thing. Five stars across the board food, staff, venue... even pricing! To quote a famous movie line, "I'll be back" Sorry no photos, I was too busy eating LOL.
