When you hear Marakas pizza your focused will be on pizza ;however, the restaurant has a variety of different dishes to choose from " pizza , burgers, pasta, lasagna,sandwiches, chicken , ect.. This place is such a gem, it's tiny and hidden, located in a small plaza, but the quality of the food makes up for the size of the restaurant. First time I was doing my nails at a salon close by and a friend recommended trying it out. I started off with some garlic bread and was happily surprised when it wasn't drenched in grease. Shortly after came my pizza... heaven in my mouth! Second time I took my kids who were somewhat skeptical when I told them about Cuban pizza; but now they are fans. Wow this place was great. I got a personal chorizo pizza and beef lasagna. Both were delicious! I'm REALLY surprised of how good their pizza is (despite several tries at other "popular" Cuban pizza spots that were disastrous), their dough tastes fresh and the cheese was perfectly melted to a crisp brown around the edges with great flavor and lots of cheese. Marakas Pizza is a hands down winner in the Cuban pizza category and I'm so glad I gave them a try despite my recent attempts at other "popular" spots that were unsuccessful. I went and had a "meat lover's pizza" and holy smokes was it great. My girlfriend had a chicken fettuccine alfredo and it was on point. For starters, the place small but super nice and clean.
