I wanted to try a " Cuban Pizza", my brother suggested this restaurant. We ordered Ham Croquettes and a Ham Individual pizza enough for dinner. I did not care too much for the croquettes. The pizza is fluffy, enough bread to fill one up. I liked it, but being a New Yorker is not my kind of pizza. For dessert a Pico Turquino- two scoops of whatever flavor surrounded a piece of pound cake(moist iwith syrup). Strawberry & Chocolate. Very friendly and attentive service. Placed was packed on a Sunday evening dinner time(around 8-9pm) Mango Juice for drinks. We shared everything except the juice. There is a mural by the tv at the entrance with lots of Cuban personalities of TV, Radio, Sports.

Great takeout with the 305 fam. Amazing Cuban food find in Kendall. It is hard to find good Cuban food back home so when in the 305 do not mind looking for some. The black beans and white rice were perfectly seasoned with right amount of saltiness and spice. The Fried Yuka fries were perfectly cooked without being greasy even though we did takeout with delivery. Perfect food for our hungry crew while catching up on some pro basketball finals. Would definitely order fron this restaurant again

Well, this is a restaurant I did not choose. They offer classic Cuban dishes along with their "specialty", Cuban Pizza. They also offer spaghetti. We ordered Sangria to start. Now, I am not normally a Sangria person. I do not like sweet wines or really any other sangrias I have tried in the past. So, I figured I would not like this Sangria either. Well, I was wrong. This Sangria has a perfect blend of flavors and is not too sweet. I really enjoyed it and ordered another two glasses of it. It actually had alcohol and I felt a little buzz which was nice and surprising to me. The other highlight of this restaurant is the layout and decorations. We sat in a large booth and had a great view of the whole restaurant. It felt cozy and "almost" like being in a trattoria in Italy. Ok, onto the rest of my review. Our server started off nice. But then she disappeared. Why do they do this? I mean, she visited us twice at the very beginning, and that was it. She never even brought the check, someone else did. So we ordered a large pizza and the spaghetti to share. Sigh. I had forgotten to order my side salad. So, the second time the server came over I ordered it. Well, it came within about 5 minutes of us leaving. And this salad requires no effort to put together. It is shredded lettuce, unripened tomato and very little onion. The ranch dressing was good. This is the saddest salad I have ever eaten. I LOVE salads and really, I cannot remember a more lackluster one I have ever had. He ordered the pizza crispy. It came out actually soft. Now, I love a lot of sauce on my pizza and this one had a TON of cheese. It tasted ok. That is about all I can say. I ate two pieces. That was enough for me. The spaghetti was the same. Ok. It had some sort of cheese on it. I did not eat much of it. The sauce reminded me of some spaghetti I had in the 80's along the way. I don't plan on coming back here.

Food was excellent. Big portions and good service. Will be back. Menu has so many options plus daily specials.

Muy mala la comida hice un pedido por Uber de una pizza, arroz moro con pollo y maduro y arroz moro con palomilla y la verdad que la comida pésima la carne no tiene una cebollita nada, está como pasada por el salten vuelta y vuelta y listo

We wanted to a try a different cuban restaurant, and this was the closest one to our home. Huge portions and great prices from Polo Norte! There appetizer Antojitos was delicious and so was the Special of the Day which had steak and shrimp and my boyfriend ordered the Bistec Uruguayo cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and food came out super quick. We will most definitely be coming here again.

Got two orders of the vaca frita. The meat was super juicy and crispy at the same time. Really great flavor. My arroz moro and maduros were yummy too. Got the guava bacon and cheese pizza to try. It was good but wouldn't get it as a meal, more of an appetizer. Didn't really taste the bacon. The lasagna was good too but a little small.

I went to Polo Norte in Kendal for breakfast, device by "La China" was good, but the quality of the food was no as I expected, the toast was anything but toast, eggs overcooked and the size of the pizza... really small!! I do not recommend it..

    Updated inside and furniture.

Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Little Havana. We started with The Guac, Aji Tuna Poppers, and Avocado Salad. The Tuna Poppers came with 3 spicy tuna crispy rice and were delicious, however the Avocado Salad truly shined. All the ingredients tasted fresh, and the cumin lime vinaigrette was to die for. I would return for this salad alone! I ordered the Charred Salmon as my entree, and it was fantastic. The sweet potato purée paired with the slaw were complimenting sides to the dish. The hit of the table was the Mahi and Coconut Shrimp Cazuela. Lastly, the staff was phenomenal. We had a large party, but everything came out correctly and in a timely manner.

Wanted a Cubano sandwich immediately upon arrival, so we came straight to Havana 1957. This spot has been recreating 1950s Havana since 2010, right down to the vintage memorabilia and the whole "Un Dia En La Habana" concept, and it's since grown into a small chain across Miami and even Vegas. The Ocean Drive location does it right: great service, very friendly and fast, food that was amazing across the board. Loved my first taste of a traditional, genuine Cuban sandwich, ham, roast pork, Swiss, pickles, mustard, all pressed together and served with a mountain of shoestring fries, as close to the source as I could ask for stateside. Ordered a rum and coke and they hand it to you in a genuinely giant glass, perfect for getting the party started, even though it was a random Monday afternoon. Vibes and atmosphere were immaculate the whole visit. Great first stop in Miami, and a great way to kick off the week that followed.
