We had checked out their deep menu the day before and knew what we wanted - a Whitefish & Lox Platter ($25) with a choice of Bagel, a choice of cream cheese served with lettuce, onions and tomatoes, and cucumbers. We added an extra bagel for $1.75. Now, I have to tell you that we were incredulous when this huge platter of very reasonably priced platter of food was delivered to our table. I bet there was between a third and a half pound of lox, plenty of vegetable cream cheese, a ramekin of whitefish salad, and a garden of lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, thinly sliced purple onions, and cucumber slices. The bagels were pretty big and were everything you want in a bagel -nice and chewy/crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We each had one half of our respective bagels with cream cheese, lox, and onions, and the other half with whitefish, lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. One customer service caught my eye immediately -those big tomato slices had been carefully trimmed to take out the core. That drives me batshit crazy when a restaurant apathetically doesn't do that. Staying on the customer service theme, our server was very attentive, with plenty of checkbacks and coffee refills. We packed up our leftovers and finished them off the next day. So that fish yielded us four servings. I promise you this....... The next time we are looking for breakfast between Boston and Worcester... I know where we'll end up. We might even get some Kugel at Kugel!

We got it a few days early and put it in the freezer to keep...Took it out two days before eating time and let it defrost in the fridge. Transferred everything but the turkey to pots/pans on the stove for heating instead of the microwave and put the turkey in the oven day of. It was super easy to reheat everything and get it to temp. I had concerns about the mashed potatoes as those can be weird sometimes but they reheated perfectly. Everything tasted SO good, full of flavor, and very delish! The turkey was very moist and tender - like fall apart and the flavor of the gravy, and sides were all excellent. I think this was probably one of the best turkeys I have had. Definitely want to try the outpost farm again as I am sure everything they have is great. I was very happy with the choice and outcome and it made our Thanksgiving meal like a home cooked meal minus the mess and all the cooking lol.

Cheap, poorly made food. If you are absolutely desperate for a sandwich and there are literally no other options, you could waste your money on a wrap that's 90% lettuce or mayo. I don't see why you would, when a much better option- Taqueria Mexico- is available across the street. Oh, and the owners are rude pricks who won't apologize when their delivery driver does damage to your property, because you made a joke about having a beer with the driver [I literally said "you look tired man, you want an ale or a joint instead of a tip? hahaha" which I quickly followed up with a "dude I'm kidding, I'm sorry" when it appeared that the drive took me seriously. I would never give someone who's about to drive any kind of substances, it was purely a joke based on how run down and pissed off he looked. I was trying to cheer him up; if he didn't think it was funny, that's fine and I did apologize. I was 18 years old at the time, in the middle of a party and thought I was funny, sue me. He then caused damage to my property with his car and almost ran over a neighbor in his haste to get away.] Apparently making a dumb joke can not only cause someone to fly into a rage and damage your property, but it also makes the owners of that business exempt from apologizing to you when it happens. I was actually threatened by the owner/associated/etc on the other end of the line when this incident occurred. This lazy food and even lazier, greedy, rude people do not deserve your money. This incident happened 2 years ago and I am still finding shards of plastic and glass in my garden from where he crashed into the handrail, and this time, one of them found it's way into my foot, prompting quite a bit of pain and this review. read more
