We had clam chowder in three or four different locations around and this was the best! Delicious!! The fish and chips was also super yummy. The hostess was kind and got us sat immediately even though they had a reservation coming in. We were able to have dinner before the reservation arrived. It was a little warm in the building for our taste, but the food was delish.

Lobster rolls are the heart of the business at Kennedy's. One of the all-time classic venues. A gem in Marlboro.

Good food! I've had the steak tips and they are amazing and tender. Only downside is the traffic in that area but worth the hassle.

It had lots of fresh mashed potatoes on top, ground beef and corn. I was surprised by the corn's presence and absence of peas and carrots. It was still really tasty, just a bit unexpected. My friend got an omelette with 3 pancakes. The pancakes had a bit of a tough texture on one side, but still good. We got an order of fried shrimp that was excellent with some delicious cocktail sauce. Service from Mary was very friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. While the building is dated, it is authentic and was a joy to visit. My friend was well prepared with cash as it is a cash-only establishment.

Upon walking inside, you'll immediately feel like you've gone back in time. It gives off a very classic, old-fashioned diner feel, with booth seating and red stools along the counter. Important to note that this place is cash only. Lobster and other seafoods are advertised as their specialty both online and within the restaurant. I never had a lobster roll before, and unfortunately, this place made me think lobster rolls were mediocre and overrated (and then I had my life changed by lobster rolls from other places). FOOD: Lobster Roll (6 oz.) (2.75/5) - I opted for mine to be served warm with butter. It came with a side of slaw and very generous portion of onion rings and fries. The lobster roll itself was lukewarm and the melted butter came on the side in a small plastic cup. (I was expecting for the butter to be more incorporated.) The lobster sat on a small bed of cut lettuce. The lettuce wasn't of the freshest quality as some pieces tasted strangely bitter. The lobster was a tad rubbery, and everything was overall bland to me. I found myself reaching for the salt shaker more than would have wanted to. SERVICE: I believe a new hire was getting trained during my visit, so it was a bit clumsy. However, I found it rather charming. They are all very warm people, and you can tell that this is a family owned establishment, which is why I really wanted to like this place. TLDR// Unfortunately, did not have the greatest first lobster roll experience here. Hopefully, I went on an off day or I was better off ordering something else.

I started with the Potstickers and Teriyaki skewers and egg roll. It was freshly cooked and the employee was very nice. 10 mins later I was at my hotel. The Potstickers were amazing!!!! They were some of the best I've had! The Teriyaki steak was very dry and not much flavor. The Eggroll was very good!! Overall i give it a 4 out of 5. When I come back I will be here again no doubt!!! I also took pictures of the most recent menu as of Dec 8.

The beef with scallions didn't seem to have any scallions - just yellow onion - and the beef itself was an undetectable cut of odd tasting meat that mostly wound up in the garbage. It was also supposed to be "medium" spice and we all thought it was extra mild. The pineapple chicken was very saucy, but oddly bland. A little sweetness from the pineapple, but otherwise a watery, artificial tasty, unappealing sauce. The seafood delight was the dish I preferred the most as the shrimp were well cooked and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. There was a lot of what appeared to be imitation crab meat that had a starchy, noodle like texture. It was unexpected as the menu description indicates scallops, shrimp, and vegetables, but it added "volume" to the dish. Lastly, the crispy white meat chicken with broccoli was decent. It seems the star item at this restaurant is broccoli and they consistently cook it so it remains crunchy, but softened. They were also very generous with white rice as each dish came with it's own small white rice. The order was ready on time and well packaged for takeout.

Coming from…read morethe city where all you can eat prices are $20 or higher (even on weekdays), this is an incredible deal. I came on a Thursday with family and we were seated immediately. There were probably only 10 tables or so with people at them, but the food looked hot and good to me. I ended up eating 5 plates (only 2 pictured below) and the quality of the food was surprising for buffet food. Sushi - the sushi was actually really really good. There was just a small amount of rice to a large and thick cut of fish, and the salmon, tuna, and white fish all tasted fresh and not fishy at all. I was really pleasantly surprised by this and went back for more each time! Octopus salad - this was in the cold section and it was sweet, a little spicy, and a really pleasant texture. I also got this on most of my plates - and this is something I don't see at too many buffets! Fish - I had both salmon and a white fish and both tasted fairly fresh and delicious. They weren't overcooked and had nice sauces on them. Other items - I had a few types of chicken which were all quite tasty - pretty standard Chinese takeout style. The dumplings had a lot of tasty filling, the fried shrimp was never ending (a huge tray that was always hot and still crispy), the crawfish was nicely seasoned, and the fried doughnut with sugar on it was a staple that I'd get anytime. Desserts - there was a whole island dedicated to dessert and I didn't try everything, but the custard pastry was very nice and not too sweet. The Jello was pretty standard but nice and refreshing, and the fruit was also a nice break from savory foods. The cakes and pies looked good and I had a cheesecake and a strawberry cake which were really nice. Lastly, this isn't in the dessert section, but the sesame balls filled with red bean are SO GOOD. All in all, 5/5 - the price is amazing, the variety is great, and everything I ate tasted delicious!
