My NEE favorite place when in town visiting clients! I come into town about once a month and found this gem after searching for the best clam chowder! I arrived at 5:15 just before the crowd and sat out on the patio. What a GORGEOUS surprise to see the highly curated garden ! Drinking a blackberry mojito awaiting my claim chowder was delightful ! The team there was so kind and helpful from our wonderful server to the host stand! So friendly ! What a wonderful visit ! I can't wait to go back! read more

What happened to this place? It used to be amazing. Got a turkey BLT the pther day which used to be a staple on the menu and it was no where to be seen, it was only a listing of specialty sandwiches. Sandwich was fine but it came in a clam shell box which takes up so much garbage. What happened to deli sandwiches wrapped in paper and a normal listing of delicious sandwiches, not overpriced ones. read more

Lobster rolls are the heart of the business at Kennedy's. One of the all-time classic venues. A gem in Marlboro.

Great pub-style food. Lots of options, large portions, and comfortable seating. Staff are very friendly.

We had clam chowder in three or four different locations around and this was the best! Delicious!! The fish and chips was also super yummy. The hostess was kind and got us sat immediately even though they had a reservation coming in. We were able to have dinner before the reservation arrived. It was a little warm in the building for our taste, but the food was delish. read more

Kennedy's market is a go to for Mains for any night, fresh seafood, excellent cuts of beef and poultry. They also have many premade sides and single serve meals. They feature Boars Head deli products and everything you need to make a great sandwich. They make deli sandwiches to go as well. Perfect place to pick up items to put on the grill. read more

Walked in, very nice remodel inside, the walls( tiled up nicely, ceiling panels replaced and painted black , menus in tvs, more variety in the middle and fridge's stocked in full . Seafood choices and meat choices are great and prices fair . Issue is with the sandwiches , prices have gotten steep, portions are much smaller/ looked pre portioned , not sure about sub rolls as they seem smaller also , meat inside doesn't even fill the sandwich, forget about cheese ? And toppings ? Lol , sprinkled on top again not enough to cover the whole sandwich. Every bite should have all ingredients present . Bought 3 sandwiches inside of 9 days, hoping it was an off day but they all got worse after every visit .. for the prices they charge they need to build a better more consistent sandwich . ( visited off times were it wasn't busy, more than enough staff present but the ball was dropped. I visit weekly, and their Turkey Club is excellent. Always fresh and filled with turkey and fresh veggies. Friendly staff and the market is always clean with new products. You can also get board head deli meats. Their clam chowder and fried haddock is also excellent. read more

Good food! I've had the steak tips and they are amazing and tender. Only downside is the traffic in that area but worth the hassle.

Kennedy's has become a Friday favorite for family and friends. My favorite dishes are Ruben sandwich on dark rye bread with crispy French-fries. Fish and Chips meal is delicious. Turkey tips, steak tips and haddock are good selections. Warm Popovers with butter is tasty. Service is usually friendly and attentive, but on a couple of occasions they were quite slow with or drinks and other needs. Martinis are consistently good. Recently, we ordered food from the market for a small party we were having. It was fabulous! We ordered a tray of the house steak tips, baked haddock and mashed potatoes. Our guests could not stop raving over the tenderness and flavor of the meat and the delicious fish. The mashed potatoes were perfect - fluffy and seasoned just right. My husband and I did take out from the fish market last night. I ordered a 1 1/2 pound baked stuffed lobster. It was 95% stuffing with very little lobster. I literally had 5 bites of lobster. Where did the lobster go? Into their lobster salad? Into their lobster bisque? The meal was very pricey. I will not repeat that mistake again. read more

It's one of the secret spots in Marlborough - you wouldn't know it existed if it weren't for someone pointing out to you. The food is ok... I'd get frozen food over what they serve there. The place, being an Irish bar, does what it does well. St. Patrick's day - yeah, everyone wants to be there - I would avoid it like a plague. Kennedy's is fantastic. Obviously known for their steak tips (which are ridiculously good!) their other meats and seafood are out of this world as well. We typically enjoy going to Kennedy's for Seafood. Went today around 1 PM to get 6 Lobsters and 4 Lbs of Steamers. Was hot day 90+ so made sure to get both home immediately and into the fridge. 4 PM took out steamers to cook and smell was unbearable. 3/4 of them were dead. Never had this problem before. Would have driven back to return if didn't have guests. Luckily lobsters still look active and fine. read more

Our office moved so I no longer frequent Kennedy's Market. Hands down the best lunch place in Marlborough. Fresh food, friendly service and the specials board is always changing so it keeps it interesting. If you ever see the Roast Beef stacker up there, get it. It's phenomenal and has about a half pound of freshly cut roast beef on it. Also the marinated steak tips and turkey tips are top notch. Can't be beat for a quick grill meal where you don't want to do any of the work. read more

It's been a while since I've had sandwiches from this quick serve deli, they have a unique variety of salads and baked desserts. Everyone in my family enjoy their sandwiches and I treated myself to some Asian noodle salad that complemented my Ruben nicely. My daughter got a vegan zucchini baked loaf dessert which was delicious, keep up the delicious work! read more

Kennedy's Market has hands down no questions asked the best steak tips (to bring home and grill yourself) in New England. There BBQ sauce is unbelievably good and if they only sold those steak tips, I would still drive from the city out to the burbs to pick up a few pounds for the weekend. Luckily for me, Kennedy's is a one stop shop with tons of meats, seafood, and side dishes. Planning a BBQ?? Come with a credit card and a card with trunk space and go nuts. The staff is always helpful and friendly and I'd assume they'd suggest the tortellini salad, the cucumber salad, and of course STEAK TIPS. They have a Pub out back which serves all this food though I've never been. 5 stars Do yourself a favor, go to Kennedy's as soon as it's warm enough to BBQ read more

I moved to Marlborough about a year ago and ad passed this little market a least a dozen times. I went in one day to check it out but did not purchase anything because I was on my way to a doctors appointment. I finally got the chance to go in last Sunday. The place was empty. maybe it had something to do with torrential rain, but, I was pleasantly surprised at how quaint it was and was thrilled to see that they featured Boars Head deli meats...no other place in the area carries it. After looking around and checking out the prices I was not so thrilled anymore. $10 for a basic salad? Iceberg lettuce and a few slices of tomato and cucumber? Ugh, no thanks! ... They also had a pretty good selection for fresh cut meats and fish, but again super pricey. It would have to stupendous to justify not skipping through Price Chopper to buy the same thing which is less than a mile away. Even if it marinated in their "special sauce", for me it does not justify the big markup. For those prices, they should be farm to table. Anyway, I did not want to waste the trip so I bought some Boars Head turkey and ham. I still felt they were gouging me price -wise, but I really wanted to make some good sandwiches for lunch so I decided to shell out the $10.99 a pound for it. Well, I should have listened to my mother and heeded her warning about eating at places that are not spilling over with customers, rain or no... The turkey was not bad, I typically buy the Boars Head no salt added kind, but they did not carry it. The ham, on the other hand, was well past its expiration date, the odor from the bag was overwhelming. Not sure how that could have possibly got by them, but I was not happy. I had a busy day so I could not return it to the store. I have never in my life been given deli meat that went bad before I even got it home! I gave them two stars because I liked the look of the store and the girls that were working were super nice. read more

This is the best little market in Marlborough, hands down. Sometimes in the 'burbs its tricky to find specialty items, like pasta made with egg or olive oils. I come here for fresh fish, meat and sausage mostly. The local grocery stores kind of creep me out, but this place is just clean and fresh. Johnny is SO friendly, and is SO helpful. Everyone there is always in a good mood, and happy to help you find what you're looking for. Oh -- and their lunch options are great! I used to come here all the time when I worked in town. But get their early, it's not that big of a secret anymore! read more

My parents have been coming here for years they love the fish and chips. I would usually get the steak tips, I know they're known for them but I was never really a huge fan. The few times I've been in there the staff was friendly. However, recently my parents ordered clam chowder and it was extremely salty, the next day my dad tried to return it and they would not accept it. This is not the first time this has happened.
