Our house was built in 1956 and has not been maintaining comfortable temperatures inside. With further investigation I found that it was no longer insulated well. I discovered via Yelp and used the built-in Yelp Project Management tool to communicate, which was really easy and Jonathan always super prompt in response time and project scheduling. The workers arrived on time, finished on time and did a good job. The stucco patches looked good. They cleaned up after themselves before leaving. We had the walls insulated and didn't really expect to notice anything but we did. The home was significantly quieter and the furnace turns on a little less frequently. One of the walls cracked on the inside, probably due to poor drywall nailing. He was going to have someone come down and repair it but I decided to accept a discount and do the repair myself. STOP READING NOW AND CALL THIS COMPANY. The lack of insulation was creating havoc in our home. Summers too hot, Winters too cold unless we ran the Furnace/AC all the time. Happy I came across Jonathan, Ralph, and his team on Yelp. The 5 stars are a true reflection of the work they do. We had a pretty bad rodent issue along with being overdue for an attic insulation upgrade. The insulation part went smoothly but the rodent issue persisted for a while even after they closed up some holes. But thank goodness for these guys, they happily came back multiple times to check up on the attic and address the rodent issue until they felt satisfied. I sent Jonathan a message and he got back to me right away with a quote. He was very straight forward. He came over the next day and rechecked my measurements because I make mistakes often. I decided to not just do my attic but also insulate my walls. What a difference. The house is more comfortable and the sound has diminished. His team did a great job. I'm so happy with this project.. the quality of work, the price, communication and demeanor of the team were all excellent. I did drill-and-fill insulation on the two sides of my house that get the most sun and it's made a massive difference. The worst rooms are at least 10 degrees cooler than they used to be at peak heat, if not more. This is absolutely worth it. I have had the exterior walls of my two previous homes insulated. The process is pretty straight forward. I decided to have the walls of my current home insulated. For the first time I used yelp to select several different companies for comparision. I quickly recieved several yelp messages. The one that stood out was from Marathon Insulation. They e-mailed me an estimate almost immediately. The others wanted to set up a consulation. I called Marathon and spoke to Jonathan. He arranged to come by, that day, and verify the home could be insulated, apparently the city belives my home was originally insulated, it was not. I set up an installation time for Saturday 1-21-2023. Three men showed up and began the work. I had 176 two inch holes drilled thru my stucco. They filled up the walls and patched the holes. They then cleaned up and explained their process. I am extremly pleased with their quick response, fast and clean work.
