What a cool liquor store.. they have a deli that sells incredible fresh made sandwiches made to order.. you fill out a slip and they make it how you order it! While you wait they have wines and liquors to see and enjoy.. I got some cbd drinks .. they also had key lime mini pies and key lime pie on stick in a freezer.. yummmmmy! Staff was very nice and greeted us as well as helped us since we had not been before. I was told of this place by a local that loves it for lunch menu! Complete scam. Charge $19.99 for a 6 pack of domestic beer. Same beer was $11.99 at Publix. Never going back.

Date of visit: Sept 22, 2022 We stopped in to grab some alcohol for our week vacation. The store is very clean, and the employees helpful. It is located right off Highway 1 in an easily accessible plaza. The store is very deceiving when you walk in on what they have. They have a back section with quite a bit more. I found their prices to be fairly high, even for there. We wanted Chi Chi mudslide. Their price was $21.99. Their Kahula was I believe $26.99. I compared other types to what I pay back in Georgia, and almost all were 31%-68% more. I decided to hold off and see what Publix charged. Publix liquor up the block for the same size Chi Chi mudslide was $10.99. Their Kahula for the same size was $18.99. Do yourself a favor and shop around if it's a more common alcohol. They did offer some unique items here though. Things are already crazy expensive. So to charge that type of premium on top of already high prices is not right. But that is capitalism... read more

The Italian sub was amazing!! Also, the works were awesome! I highly recommend grabbing a sub while vacationing in the keys.

This place is a hidden GEM when it comes to Subs. I was just passing by and decided to stop and see what they offered. They sell alcohol as well as delicious fresh subs. You walk in and grab a menu witch also serves as your ordering ticket. I filled out my order and decided on #16 Club sub and I added bacon. Not only was the sub amazing in all ways, it was huge!! I could only eat half and I eat A-LOT!! The bread was super delicious!! Crunchy on the outside and fluffy and fresh on the inside. Highly recommend if you like a good sandwich. Be patient sometimes it can be really busy but the girls that were working rocked it out!! read more

I really don't know how this place gets so many good reviews! This was probably the worst sub I've ever eaten in my life, no joke! I would have preferred Subway over this place and that says a mouthful. It was also the most expensive sub I've ever had for what you get! You can see in the pictures that for $12.99 (Italian Press), there is mostly bread and very little cold cuts. The bread was crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside. It had like a raw taste that bread has before it's fully cooked! I actually have a stomachache after eating it! I told the (what appears to be the) owner that we've never been here before and I wanted to make sure that the sub came with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. He tells me, well it's already on there in a demeaning tone as he points to the paper we were ordering from, (as if I'm stupid). As it turns out, there was no lettuce, onions or fresh tomatoes anywhere! There was only a few slices of cold cuts and very little cheese. No chopped garlic taste and literally drops of olive oil. I had to fold the cold cuts up to make it thicker and only wound up eating half of it. Waste of money! While we waited for our subs, the owner appears to be having an argument with his employees, (two women). They're going back and forth and no one is in a good mood at all. It was quite embarrassing and very inappropriate in front of your customers and I would never come back to this place! I decided to look at past reviews at that moment and people were saying this exact experience happened months before. So nothing has changed and probably never will. The owner gave off a nasty vibe right from the beginning. Should have been a sign to turn around, but I trusted the 4 star overall review. I will not do this again no matter how hungry I am. Quality, taste and customer service are very important to me, especially when spending so much money! I will say that the Philly Cheese Steak which was also $12.99 was a little better tasting, but the lady forgot to put mayo on it and we had to remind her as well. To me, this is incompetence. I cannot believe that someone can mess up a sub this badly, especially a $12.99 sub! The only thing NY about this deli is the owner. The sandwiches are probably the worst I've ever had, anywhere. For $14.99 the best part of the sandwich or hero is the Boars Head meat, other than that it's a complete fail. Less meat and cheese than you'd put on a 6 year olds school lunch. The bread is thick, dense and tough. The construction of the hero is shoddy at best, there are parts of the hero with no meat or cheese... or anything at all! Just a complete disaster, this is a tourist trap deli that happens to sell an extensive amount of liquor. There was one customer ahead of us and it took 20 minutes to make 2 heros. Unfortunately I returned by mistake after vowing to never come here again after last years poor performance. The owner is parked In The corner by the register- watching the employees make these ridiculous excuses of sandwiches. I can't believe that this business has a strong local following. The deli here really is an unexpected find. They serve large subs, made to order, with just about whatever you want on them, for $10, or sandwiches for $8. They have pre-selected combos, or you can build your own. Best part about it, you can throw as many toppings as you want on it for free. You want avocado? Cool. Sun-dried tomatoes? Do it. Bacon, 'cado, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and all the veg you can handle? Yes, please. They also have Boars Head meats for 33% cheaper than Publix. The only caveat here is that they're slow. If there are more than a few people in front of you, expect to wait a good 15-30 minutes. Yikes. Subs are not bad but almost 40 dollars for 2 subs that was 90 percent lettuce and did not have any cheese is crazy and their Bacardi Rum is 12 dollars more than Publix. We came in for good wine to drink in Key West and were not disappointed. Excellent selection on reds and white from around the world. Settled on a Silver Oak cab at a very fair price. Left with a good assortment of other whites selected by the store wine expert; all turned out to be very good. This store also had a good selection of cigars, so I picked up a couple of those as well. Found ginger beer to make Moscow Mules, and ordered a couple delicious Cuban sandwiches to go. Service was fantastic, great owner, he even tossed in a couple glasses of Cuban coffee for us. Great people, excellent selection, good food. Amazing subs. Love their Italian and Philly cheese steak. Clean, fast and delicious. You can even call ahead an order if you in a hurry.

I went to lunch here last week and was very happy with my sub. They had a good selection of toppings and everything seemed to be top shelf. They also had a pretty decent liquor store just in case I felt the need to wash down my turkey sandwich with some jagermeister. Prices were OK and the service was fine. The first time I got a hoagie it was the best around. But I've learned that you have to watch them make it or it's not made right.

Starting with the positive, the employees are friendly and efficient, and the deli food good. The owner, however, is another story. He struts around like an angry inspector, never acknowledging the customers, thanking them for their business or even making eye contact. More than once I've witnessed him berating his employees in front of customers. It's the same for his gym (attached to the deli), where I used to work out. He seems to go between the two, intimidating people. I've been in retail and customer service my whole working career and so the attitude of the management is paramount to me. My guess is the only way he stays in business is because of unsuspecting tourists. read more
