Took my F350 to have my wheels swapped because it looks like a nice new shop. That was my first mistake, looking at the other negative reviews I now know I should have never stepped foot in this shop. The wheels were swapped and the guy said that I needed a ball joint and he was writing up a quote for me. I said ok write it up and if it's reasonable I'll do it. I suspect he knew he damaged my truck so he never wrote anything up. When I stopped for diesel I noticed a huge dent in the side of my truck. I took it back to next days when I got back in town. The guy said Mike the "manager" will review the shop cameras and get back to me. They never got back to me, I stopped by Mike gave me the run around and said Rob the owner will get back to me... weeks went by and still nothing. Quoted $1,500 for the damage on my truck. These guys are careless and do poor work, another shop had to retorque the wheels because the lug nuts were loose. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!! read more

Do not get your car repaired here. (A&D Repair is just a couple miles north; we've had much better luck with them.) Communication was very problematic. Objections to charges were met with accusations of "not caring of my profitability." I was interrupted continually, talked down to, and threatened to be hung up on. They threatened to maximize my charges, including for "storage" (parking in the big plaza parking lot next to them). When I went into the shop and read them the language on their own paperwork, I was met with more interruptions and a raised voice. The owner's method of reasoning seemed to be talking over me rather than addressing the words I was using - which were his words, read from his paperwork. Very excited to review this business. I have a BMW 330XI that's been very well maintained throughout the course of it's lifetime and upon a routine oil change I was assured I absolutely needed a new serpentine belt. $180 and 1 day turnaround on the serpentine belt, so far so good right? 2 days later I'm driving to Chicago and 2 mins on the highway and my battery light pops on, 2 other lights pop on and next thing I know my car shuts down and has overheated. I'm stranded. I call the shop and their own towing company comes to get me, I borrow a friends car and head to Chicago. They call while I'm driving and tell me the serpentine belt snapped. Yes, the one I JUST replaced. The belt snapping caused the car to overheat and meant I had to replace a few more gadgets under the hood. So now for towing, a new serpentine belt and some other parts I am billed nearly $2000. They say it's not their fault, didn't comp me on towing or labor and pretty much shrugged their shoulders. The part they had just fixed had failed and they didn't take any responsibility. I have NEVER had worse service at an auto repair or anywhere else honestly. A $180 fix turned into a $2000 repair and almost ruined a weekend getaway. Go ANYWHERE ELSE to get your car fixed. The owner/manager Mike is deceitful and better at sales than fixing cars. Josh has done several maintenance and repair jobs on my Chrysler town and country. The price has always been reasonable and the work done quickly. No one ever wants to take their car to the shop, but when I need to now I do it with confidence that I don't need to call my brother in law or friend to make sure that the quote is reasonable. read more

The owner agreed we could pay for some repairs to our vehicle a couple days later when we got paid but then when repairs were completed demanded payment immediately. Of course I expect to pay when services are completed normally but if you agree to a deal don't turn around and call both me and my wife liars to our faces when we remind you of said deal! Got a coupon in the mail for a good price on an oil change, and it was time for me to get one. We took my car in for the oil change and the technician/mechanic did a nice oil change, but he also noticed that my tire had a big bubble bulge on the inner sidewall and pointed it out to me. Thank you Haslett Marathon - you saved me from a potential accident if the tire had blown out at the wrong time. I'm impressed! read more

My niece's muffler supports broke while driving down the interstate. Neither of us were from anywhere close to here, so I found this place using Google. I wish I would've read the negative reviews, because they're exactly how my experience went!!! We asked them to look at the muffler, that's it. They said they would look at it and call us to give us an estimate. Two hours went by while we sat at a restaurant, so we decided to go back and check on it. When we walked in, the guy said, "I'm getting ready to look at it". A few minutes later, without ever leaving our presence, he started rattling off all these things she needed to have done to her car. It totaled over $1000! AND, he said he couldn't fix the muffler that day, so the strap I had put on it was going to have to do. For supposedly doing this full vehicle inspection, even though we only asked him to look at the muffler, he charged us $89! I'm pretty sure that's how he makes his money... A bunch of $89 charges to people like us who were at his mercy. Horrible experience! Don't go! read more
