So I made an appointment with Carolina at this salon 4 days ago. I showed her a picture of what I would like my hair to look like and asked if it was possible.....(my hair was light brown with ash highlights I wanted to go dark with platinum highlights) anyway she said she could do it 5 hours later she rinsed my hair and said that from here on out it would be up to me how my hair would turn out depending on how I take care of it....unfortunately she said that because she obviously seen the damage she caused to my hair. All the highlights are completely breaking off. Point here is don't go to this salon for any highlights or anything having to do with bleach. I'm writing this review so no one else will have to go through this because so much damage to someone's hair is devastating. read more

PLEASE DONT COME TO THIS SALON!!! This salon is horrible!!! I went to this salon so Caroline can dye my hair brown and highlights because my hair was red. I had my my appointment at 3:30 and she didn't help me until 4 something. She was also doing 3 clients hair at the same time and she was rushing everything she didn't even try her best. She didn't even dye my hair brown she only put the highlights!!! Horrible job I don't even know how she has her own salon!!! I paid 120 for the highlights and my hair is short!!! I'm definitely going to sue her for the damage because it's not a fair job because she did a horrible job!! Save your time and don't go to this place. read more

Overall I was unhappy with the service I was given. The ladies were polite but unhelpful. I was going in to make a drastic change to my look so I had many questions & they did poorly in answering. She knows what's she's doing and is honest whether or not she can do what you ask. Karolina trims my hair and she does a great job! My hair has never been this healthy! I dye my hair every 3 weeks and style everyday.

This place is HORRIBLE. I actually pray to god that Carolina reads this because she needs to know what a terrible job she does. My sister came to this salon to dye her hair red. She might as well have gone to a pre-school and had a kid dye it for her. Some spots were darker and then some were super bright and it even wasnt the color my sister has asked for. The worst part about it...WORST!!... Is when my mother went to get a perm. This woman ought to be ashamed of charging people for a shitty job... She left my mother looking like a lion. Up to this day my mothers hair is beyond repair and every other person she has gone to cut her hair is DISGUSTED by the terrible job. She destroyed her hair. This woman is SO lucky we didnt sue her. The staff and quality of the services is good despite that it's in a shady looking area. They really know what they're doing and the prices are spot on. If you show them picture of what you want, they're able to replicate it consistently. My girlfriend wouldn't let me get my hair cut here, because it looks sketchy outside and everyone spoke Spanish. (Apparently, she forgot that we live in California which used to belong to Mexico). She wouldn't even come with me to wait. But I'd been extremely happy with the cuts I had gotten there for a long time and the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. So, I got a new girlfriend. She gets cut at Marbella too now and thinks they're great! read more

I don't know why this place doesn't have more reviews...but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. The atmosphere and the decor is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented. I have been going here for 2-3 years and they do the best work!! I get my hair done with Evette. I brought my (picky) friend with me and got her hair cut by another lady in the salon (who's name I can't remember) and she totally loved it and she now says she refuses to go to any other salon! I've been going to Carolina at Marbella Salon for about 4 years. I love it when my hair is perfect & Carolina consistently does a great job with whatever style I'm asking for. I always get flattering comments from others when she does my hair. She's also done my teenage daughters' hair. They brought in pictures and she made the trendy cuts look great on each of the girls, according to the style and their face shape. She's friendly, encouraging, fast and the price is reasonable, especially for OC. My sister dyed her hair here and they didnt even color it the color she wanted, she wanted an Orange color and she left with a bright red. She was so upset the stylist offered to add more copper after she did 3 washes on it for free. My sister went back and the stylist wanted $10 bucks for the hair color, Only for her to come out with a brighter red. My sister is so mad she will never go back or recommend this place. read more

Carol is the best stylist I have ever had. I have been going to her for about ten years, and the few times I have went to someone else, I have regretted it.
