The waitress was attentive at first but seemed upset I was asking to try a couple beers. This is my first time here. Beer is good. Bar is sticky and dirty Bathroom was dirty. They seem understaffed. The building is nice And floors are relatively clean. Clientele is over 40. I don't feel welcomed. 22 beers on tap. Was not offered a food menu. Taps are pouring foamy and unbalanced. Waitress compensated by using two glasses and topping off the original. Interesting. Dunkel not retaining foam or lacing. obvious problems with taps not pouring properly. Lip gloss still on my dirty glass. Pilsner no foam but did lace glass. Disgusting. I can see why even with good beer they are in trouble. Could have been a lot better. With so many options these days I won't be coming back nor developing brand loyalty. I'll hate to give a bad review because I like marble and expected a lot more. This tap room needs work. I dont blame the waitress. I tipped her more than I should have and she was nice after. thats why I came to a place I've never been Because my gratuity changes the experience. Stopped into a local brewery, Thursday night around 6pm... It's located right down the hill from our home and I've driven by it many times but never stopped. Well tonight, my husband wanted a beer so we ventured out and visited Marble Brewery on the Westside. Located in a quaint shopping center, there is ample parking and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating; high tops, low tops, two bars, picnic tables, dining tables, lounge chairs... a little of everything! The inside was well decorated and clean, as was the bathroom which is always a plus! I was shocked at how large the inside was! Very nice, industrial vibe with music playing and lots of TVs with sports on. Impressive and I really liked it! We weren't greeted on the way in or approached by anyone and after waiting a couple minutes, approached the small bar and found ourselves seats. We saw that the drunk mats all had QR codes on them but and scanned them to pull up the menus. While that works for me, the older gentleman besides wasn't able to figure it out and woulda been nice to have actual menus. The beer we tried was good; plenty of options with delicious Italian food truck in the parking lot making fresh Italian food that was delicious!!! I learned that they are there every Thursday. So onto the not so great part... The service! The guy that we first spoke sign was just BLAH. He did ask what we wanted but never greeted us... When we didn't answer with our drink order immediately, he just stood there like he was irritated and doing us a favor. Terrible interpersonal skills and totally taken aback by this kid. We proceeded to tell him it was our first time there and he still offered no suggestions, just said to scan the card for details and walked away. I ordered a mixed drink, water and beer and he brought the alcohol but no water. He also failed to say anything about food options or really ANYTHING at all. Luckily a few minutes later a sweet, upbeat and helpful gal walked up and gave us the rundown. We appreciate you Lily! There was also a second guy with beanie and glasses that helped us but again wasn't overly helpful or friendly. The food took 30 min which seemed long but I was pleasantly surprised and by that point was ready to switch my focus... We ate and I was just done and over the place. They have great beer and have consistent limited addition drops. It makes it enticing to go back. They have a really nice atmosphere here at the west side location. We like that they also serve different beer than they do at their other locations. The servers here are friendly and fun and are always attentive to us. Is definitely our favorite local brew spot on the side of town. They have a great modern tavern like atmosphere inside and a nice spot for live music. Another memory from just before the virus took the sunshine away: It was, like, a Tuesday, we were in the area, figured we'd order some sushi, to-go, from Ohana Hut. Parking lot was packed and so was the taproom. I'll admit I was somewhat astonished; why aren't there more breweries in Rio Rancho? Whatever. People love themselves some Marble Westside, for good reason. The communal tables and popping, no-frills vibe, not to mention a beer list that offers something for everyone, is a recipe for absolute success. When a band started ripping it up on the indoor stage (remember those things, bands?), a perfect equilibrium was place: I could forgive the somewhat scattered service issues and just sit back, swig and listen up. During these isolated days, Marble is running beer specials on a nearly daily basis, you can find everything on their IG and FB handles. I've seen great deals on growlers, lots of limited releases, and plenty of six-pack offers that beat whatever you might pay at your local grocery. Until those band things return to a stage near you, this is a great place to grab some takeout brews. read more

I've visited here many times, whether it is with my family or just with my husband. We visited here a couple weeks ago, when indoor dining was permitted. We have been supporting local businesses during these uncertain times. This location offers a wide variety of beers and their customer service is great. They have contactless ordering and everything is done online. From the minute you enter the establishment til you leave. Even the restaurant Ohana Hut that is situated inside of the brewery does everything online as well. This brewery is very busy, but the day I visited we came just in time before the rush. Even if you don't live there, chances are good some friends do. To each his/her own on the beer choice. They have a good selection that covers the bases of styles. The bartenders still remember me and make me feel at home. The best brews are definitely their gose's (my favorite type of beer). They manage to find the perfect balance between the sour and the fruit flavors! Other delicious options are the amber and the oatmeal stout. Who knew this amazing gem was down the street from me! My brother came to visit me from out of town so we selected here. A gentleman greeted us at door to verify age and that we had a mask. When we went in they were following guidelines and social distancing. It is a really nice and clean set up in here. The waitress allowed us to sample some brews before we made a choice. I am not sure of the one I selected but it was really good! The one down side was they didn't have straws for the glasses, so I asked for a plastic cup and she was able to accommodate. They also had a touch less menu which you can scan on your phone to see what you can order. On top of that you could grab food from the food truck outside or the sushi spot next door! The fella and I stopped in here after a day full of hiking because, in our post-workout-state we thought a brewery would be a better place to stop than a winery. We like bother beer and wine....so either way it is a win! They have a bigger beer selection than I had anticipated, so it took us a bit longer to make a selection for the flights we wanted. We chose 6 beers we wanted to sample. I was excited to see a berry sour on the list! And then I was disappointed when I was informed they had just run out. And then I was over-joyed when we were told they had a pineapple sour that could be tapped, it would just take a few minutes. A whirlwind of emotions just for a sour beer! Anyway, aside from the pineapple sour, I also selected Wildflower Wheat, Choco Mole Lager, Bacon's Best Friend, Wheat Out and Hans Cholo (....because Star Wars, duh). I didn't love 'em all, but I love trying new things and therefore I was not disappointed. The pineapple sour was definitely my favorite. Unsurprising. The bacon beer was smoky and slightly bacon-y but in an enjoyable way. They don't serve food themselves, but you can order via website or phone from the place across the parking lot. And after 4pm there is a food truck that serves the tap room. I didn't get anything to eat while we were there, but it is great that they have potential for food delivery while you are enjoying a frosty beverage. Like Ernesto, I too have not reviewed the tap room. Shame on us! I love coming to this spot. 1) because I live not far from here. Yay for me! and 2) it has GREAT beer. Maybe the second should be the first. I'm not sure. I also love coming to events here because the downtown brewery is just too packed sometimes. i get frustrated when i can't sit down after a long day of work or there's like one person sitting at a 4 person booth etc. That happens here at this taproom too but I have to tell you that my husband and I have gotten into the habit of offering up our two empty chairs at a 4 person table to other people or asking if we can sit with others. This has turned out to be really fun. We have met some really fun people and even made lasting friendships. This is why...BEER makes you happy! This is why I like neighborhood local business spots. just cool. It's no longer asking your neighbor for flour, its sharing growlers. I extremely love and my mouth begins to water when I think of the Farmhouse Ale, the Imperial Stout, Imperial Red, the Double White...I could go on. I love sitting on the patio in the summer, sweating, drinking a beer, waiting for my awesomely tasty food from Ironwood Kitchen to be delivered. Great New Location on the NW Side/ nearly in Rio Rancho. The inside is very small with only about 6 or 7 tables that seat 4 people each and then a long bar with approximately 15 stools. Even on a late Tuesday evening (9 pm) all the tables were full but we were able to find 3 stools together at the bar. Be prepared to wait for a table or stand for a while due to the small square footage. They do have a patio, but it was too cold, so it was not open. The tap room is in a plaza (with a gym, nail salon, and a few other businessses), so there will be cars in and out and foot traffic the entire time you're sitting at the patio. The beer is good; exactly what you'd expect from Marble. The Red Ale and the Oatmeal Stout are probably my favorite with the full bodied flavors and not too hoppy. I tried the 2013 Marble Reserve and it will knock your socks off. It's a very strong beer and you can taste the strong oak bourbon barrel flavor.Woah nelly. Food can be ordered from the restaurant that is in the plaza until about ~9:30. We ordered the chips, queso and salsa and I'm telling you, skip it. The cheese is a bit on the cheap side (already a thin layer had coagulated on the top once he set it in front of us) and the salsa is so-so and it was $8. Overall a good place to grab a drink. read more
