A bit further out than usually go in ABQ area (from the base and airport area) but a fun brewery - lots of great options and a good food menu with pretzels, hot dogs and paninis. You won't go hungry or thirsty at this fin aviation themed brewery! Bring your friends or coworkers and grab a table! Also a nice big outdoor seating area for the nicer evenings and afternoons!

    Cool patio gate.

What a cool place! We were in town to do some hiking and exploring, and we always love to visit local breweries. Bombs Away is awesome! Cool vibe: the military theming is great, the space is big and open, and there's a cool patio if you'd rather be outdoors. The branding is super cool, so we had to get some merch! Great beer and food: The IPAs are strong. The food menu isn't huge but still a great selection. We really enjoyed the paninis. Friendly service: both of the bartenders were friendly and helpful, and we happened to meet the brewer who was welcoming and appreciative. Great place, will be back again when we visit ABQ.

Bombs away is definitely a really fun little brewery. This is one of my favorite breweries in regards to their food options. They have really affordable bites, including things like pretzels and paninies. I tried their seasonal panini, which was really good. It had turkey, bacon and apple butter. Very unique and very good. My only thing is, I really wish they had a better selection of alternatives to beer. On my most recent visit, they had a pair beer which was supposed to be the more cider friendly option, but it really wasn't. They also have wines, but I ended up not drinking because there really wasn't anything on the menu for me.

Bombs Away is a fun little spot for brews and food! I appreciate a good light beer, which they had a fair selection of, and I'm a sucker for Frito pie, which was a tasty pairing with my drink. I appreciate that they use the big Fritos, so I could scoop up more of the yummy Texas chili. My husband got a panini, which was a bit small, but he enjoyed it. And I like that they have a fresh popcorn machine for a little salty snack on the side as well!

My wife anger here on NYE and very very pleased. Although the price point was on the high side, the service wa top notch. The beers we had were fantastic. I'll definitely go back

Very impressed with great outside seating. Beer and food are top notch! Was referred here from somebody at the base who told me about the brewery. It was only a mile away and easy to find. Definitely will come here again the next time I'm in town.

Wit bier (front) and 10 seconds to Helles. Super good.

So good. Super nice people and delicious beer. Was recommended by a local. This will be the first of many visits.

The beer is great. As an FYI they charge your for using a debit card 3%. Bear that in mind when using a card.

Pineapple blonde ale. So good! Their highlighted drink for the month. Lots of nice apparel. Free popcorn. Large outdoor patio. No TVs. Live with it! Large parking area.

Great selection of beers and food. Nice atmosphere and good service. Wish they had more food options but we enjoyed the decor and free popcorn. Clean place and would recommend to anyone who would appreciate the military vibe.

Great Vibes, Live Music, and Plenty of Beer…read more Had an awesome night at High and Dry Brewing in Albuquerque! The place was packed thanks to the live music, but we still managed to find a spot to sit and enjoy the scene--which was honestly impressive. It had that lively, local energy without feeling overwhelming. The bands were playing, the crowd was into it, and the beer was flowing. Solid selection of local brews with something for every taste--whether you're into hoppy IPAs or something more mellow. Everyone was friendly, and the staff kept things moving even with a full house. Street parking was available nearby (big win in Albuquerque on a busy night), so getting in and out was easy. If you're looking for a spot with good beer, chill vibes, and live music that draws a fun crowd, High and Dry delivers. Definitely coming back for another night like this.

This time was no different in terms of our server's attention, personality, efficiency, and overall demeanor. V ~ was great and thank you! I am personally giving 3 stars for this bar/restaurant for 2 reasons: 1) the online menu is not updated with prices - I will delve into this more in a minute, and 2) kitchen service was slower than expected. Here is a link to their menu online: https://drive.google.com/file/d/148CplSivVBTXmrWlSO46WytoWdpd0REA/view I got the hard seltzer which was supposed to be $7 but I ended up paying $10 for a can of seltzer. Got 2 and the total without tip with tax was over $21. Seriously! that is friggin outrageous. I would have gotten wine if I wanted to spend that much. TRULY HARD SELTZER | 7 Hard Seltzer | 5.0% ABV Secondly, 7 out of 8 of us ordered food and 1 person had to ask for her crostini 3 or 4 times. Our lovely server did take it off of her check but nontheless, we were all done eating by the time she got her food and she was so gracious about it. Another thing: why can't I make a reservation in advance for a group of more than 4 when the place was clearly not busy at 4 pm on a Tuesday? We make 3 separate reservations for 4 people. This is a social group, and we meetup via MEETUP weekly. People will RSVP and then cancel. We had 12 coming and then 8 showed up. I am not certain we will resturn.
