I'm happy to say it lived up to our expectations and was just as good as other Marble Slab locations we've visited. We were greeted with a friendly hello as soon as we walked in. The shop was spotless and very well maintained. There was even an employee outside cleaning the benches and scrubbing the sidewalk near the entrance where customers sit and enjoy their ice cream. This location is overcharging and has false advertising. I ordered the $10 ice cream cone option and they still charged me $2.00 more for the basic cone they offered. This greedy owner has to be out of compliance with the franchise. The cone is advertised on the board as included. I thought this place was okay. I always liked cold stone but thought it was over priced. Here you can get unlimited toppings without paying for each one. They have amazing different types of waffle cones with all different things around the edges. They were super busy when we were there which would lead me to believe they are popular. I had the cotton candy ice cream, my wish was that it was a sorbet and not ice cream. I do not like ice cream and at basken and robins their cotton candy does not have an ice cream base. The first time we visited the service and ice cream were fantastic (five stars), last night however was different. The ice cream was still very good but because of the way they serve (one staff person per group) my wife's was half melted and half gone before I was even able to pay much less start eating. Btw, we only had three ppl in our group. In addition, they ran out of the sweet cream flavor. I think if the staff rotated through groups instead of the current way it would better. So, the lesson to be learned is, if you go to this Marble Slab, have each member of the party order/pay separately.
