I've been a fan of Nothing Bundt since my corporate America days. They're consistent and classy lol. They kind of remind me of the See's Candies of cupcakes. Know what I mean? Very Mary Poppins-ish. Any way. I've stopped in at this location on a whim for a cupcake and have also ordered a cake online and picked up. No issues and both pleasant experiences. If you sign up for their emails, you'll get a free birthday bundtlet. I like their numbered sparkler candles and occasionally throw one in. A little pricey, but they add a nice touch to the party. Got one when my son turned 3 and all my kids from youngest to oldest were amazed hehe. Mom win! Their cakes never fail and bless them for having smaller sized ones (bundtlets) already made and ready for my belly. The cakes at NBC are always moist and the cream cheese frosting perfectly pairs well with all the flavors. The cakes come in 8 or 10 inches and are a hit at any event. You can opt to add decorations for birthdays and special occasions and they're super cute! The mini ones (bundtinis) are cupcake sized that are sold only by the dozen and you can customize the flavors. My ultimate favorite is the white chocolate raspberry, but I will not turn down any of the flavors. They have featured flavors too so there's always something new depending on the season. This location is situated on the outer edge of Southlake Town Square so its easily accessible. Parking is not an issue. There is usually someone by the door holding a tray of samples for you to try when you walk in. They have cute cake "accessories" including serving dishes and plates. We drove quite a distance to come here for a bunch of little cakes. It's my wife's birthday. We picked out a half dozen. We also bought a card and some sparkling candles. It was about $70 in total. I asked for a box to put them in. The young lady behind the counter told me, "We only give boxes if you buy a dozen." Cheap donuts at the corner store come in a box. Okay, this is a first visit and I was a walk-in and the first thing I noticed was the background music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and the great wonderful experienced started with two delightful sales associates. I even took notice as it was extraordinarily and got their names off the name tags. Kate and Caroline kudos to them both. We waited and walked to the counter to make our choices of the wonderful presentations of cakes. Strawberries and Cream Bundt Cake, Carrot Bundt Cake, and Pumpkin Bundt Cake. The orders were taken and it was a easy and a smooth transaction. They offered some of the upfront information about the bakery and I drove home. What a delicious surprise. I took a slice of each and they were moist and sweet and just wonderful. Excellent customer service. I will be back there for the next purchase and it will worth the drive. The store is cleaned and arranged they have so much more to offer, but I was just a walk-in. I looked at the receipt after I got home. They have some special offers and bakery news available. Opted for buntinis (the smallest size) instead of cupcakes for my sons first birthday and got him an 8" for his smash cake. I'm out running errands on this side of town and was excited (yes, EXCITED!) that there's a NBC around the corner from where I'm at. So I pop in and am greeted immediately. I scan the cakes and make my decisions but I tell the ladies that I need them without the cream cheese as it's too sweet and I'm diabetic (ummm . . . Don't judge me, I only eat a 1/4 of it at a time). The ladies laugh with me and ask do I like the cream cheese frosting? Ugh, love it!!! So she suggests making me one with less cream cheese. I'm astonished as I've asked for that to be done at my local spot and I'm told that they can't do that as it's the companies policy to either do it with none or all of it. She dashed to the back and comes back with just the right amount of frosting that I won't have to jab myself with too much insulin to accommodate this sweet treat. When I tell her my experience at the other location she tells me that they will accommodate whatever the customer wants - how's that for customer service? I like this place and have been a fan for a long time. Cakes are moist and flavorful, icing is not overly sweet, and prices are similiar to most local cupcake shops when you weigh serving sizes ($3.99 per cupcake on ave). They have cute single size bundtlets which serve as great gifts for under $5.00 which I purchase often. These are nice because you can layer them and they are cutely wrapped in cellophane. I used to be a big fan of Nothing Bundt Cakes, but having been a fan of them for 6+ years, the variety and change is lacking and the business concept no longer works for us long time customers. I understand it can be a huge hit for people who are fairly new to the process and think wow - these are moist cakes with a nice cream cheese icing. Sure that's great and all, but when you offer the same flavors for 12 months every year, then only do a monthly flavor (but really some last for 2-2.5 months), you are only offering one different cake 6 times out of the year, that's not much. If you offer variety, then you have me wanting to come back to try something new. Instead, I know everyday I can just get vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, etc. Then I know every single summer it is lemon raspberry (which I'm not a fan of), so really there is even less of a variety of change when I (or another customer for that matter) am not a fan of some same old offered flavor. As far as this location goes, my mother in law wanted to stop and get some bundtinis for the group. We were told it was going to be a 10 minute wait. It ended up being 20-30 minute wait. Even one of the workers came over and said it would be out shortly, they were just waiting on the icing to set. I appreciate the acknowledgment, but still this was too long of a wait when no one else was waiting at the time, but more came in after us. Another thing about this location, as it was a couple days before Thanksgiving, it was packed with workers. I think I counted 8-10. There were two just standing at the entrance. One handing out samples, the other I guess just standing there in support. Same thing at registers, a couple per register. They definitely do not have this same process at my local NBC, but I thought it was overboard, since a number of them are just standing there for the chitter chatter with their coworker. For me, the NBC corporation has lost me as a customer earlier this year as I am bored with them, but this location also needs help with how they handle service. read more

I've been wanting to try this place out for quite some time so when I received an email for a free single serving bundlet for my birthday I was more than willing to take them up on the offer. She didn't say anything rude to us but she just seemed like she was bothered that I presented her with this coupon, no smile, no, "...hello, how are you, welcome, have you been here before..." She did mention that if we went to the website on the coupon to leave feedback on our experience we would get a free bundlet with the purchase of one. But after trying it out I don't think I'll be back. While waiting in line my boyfriend and I split a sample of the chocolate chocolate chip cake and it didn't wow me however I liked the chocolate chips in it. So instead I chose just the chocolate chip bundlet that has a cream cheese frosting. The icing at first bite was good, not overly sweet but all in all there was way too much! Even after spreading it out there was an excessive amount. Not to mention I scooped off at least half if not more because there's a huge glob of icing right in the hole then another on top of that. To the cake itself was so-so. It was good, but nothing to rave about. However, free cake is always appreciated cake.
