Long line which is normal but one young employee, was talking to her 2 friends as if there is not a long line of people waiting. You see a long line and you're leaving your other coworkers to do all the work? Management needs to get on this young girl about that. Allowing her friends to cut the line of 10 people was wild. They were also out of a few mix-ins. I used to work at a marble slab in Spring, TX - so I know they were either too lazy to refill the mix-in bins or management is too lazy to keep up with their store. Went in with a jacket covering my daughters face since we don't fall for the mask BS and don't carry them with us everywhere. Other people were inside with only their mouths covered, thus defeating the purpose of making people wearing a mask. This location has really disappointed us. Went in to buy 2 #1 cups with sprinkles, cherries and lids. Nothing complicated... The young man helping us was unbelievably in such a control kick with the amount of sprinkles. Our 4-year old granddaughter asked, "where are the sprinkles"? I went in to try and purchase a good number gift cards for an event and your worker immediately shipped at me that I needed a mask on in order to be served. So, we left and took our money and our business to Baskin Robins right down the street. Oh, and all of these gift cards will inevitably result in even more sales when they are redeemed. Just FYI...Masks are no longer required in most places, you should follow suit unless you are doing so well that you are able to turn away business. Didn't look that way though...the place was empty when we pulled up. Bad business decision. This family won't return, as we prefer to support businesses that allow patrons to make their own decisions about their health and safety. read more

Terrible customer service! Attempted to close 15 minutes early with 12 customers outside. We were able to come inside after we pointed out closing time wasn't for another 15 minutes, but then after ordering ice cream was told the slab was broke and they couldn't mix toppings in the ice cream (because they were too lazy to clean it). The young kids working there were nice and helpful but the health department needs to check in on this place. I could tell on the marble slab what other customers had ordered because it hadn't been cleaned! Chocolate syrup all of the cabinets behind the workers and toppings looked old and mixed together. The toppings area was such a mess with crumbs between canisters and some stuck to the glass. So gross! But they keep those tiny tables in front of the ice cream since Covid so customers don't breath on them lol. I think the germs are in your food hun! read more

Great ice cream. They have the kinds you want, you can add any toppings for free. Reasonable cost. If u want to eat ice-cream this is the place to go. I got a mix of chocolate peanut butter , dark chocolate and vanilla. They mixed it in front of me and added pecans. Wow, I really enjoyed. My little one got a strawberry and ice cream and she finished it all, means she loves it. My wife got the coffee shake and it was absolutely marvelous. We were a group of 11, one took seconds. Stopped in the other day for dessert. Marble Slab is all about the mixins, but this time we went simpler. My daughter ordered a raspberry cone, and I ordered a chocolate sundae. Service was reasonably polite and responsive. My daughter liked the raspberry ice cream--she commented that it was pretty soft, but they do that on purpose for the mixins. She did not like the waffle cone--it had very little flavor and was somewhat stale. I was pretty sure my server heard my order, but I didn't actually get a sundae--I got a vanilla shake with fudge sauce instead. Same price and it was tasty, but the fudge didn't really mix into the ice cream, I don't think I would deliberately ask for a shake there. This Marble Slab has two gender-neutral single seat restrooms--a plus for faster access, since it's a pretty regular occurrence that two people of the same gender need to use a restroom at the same time. They were quite clean though they looked a bit aged for the length of time the location has been open. Overall, my daughter said this was no Baskin-Robbins. I've had better. read more

This location has terrible customer service and a manager that is incredibly rude. PSA: if you order a cake from this location---one must be incredibly specific regarding how to decorate it. You will not be prompted with this question---your cake will not look like the ones in the pictures unless you tell them where to pipe icing. Truly absurd---should give the kids working the front more tools to relay directions to your decorators. But beyond that---perhaps a manager that is able to play nice. read more

Horrible service. My husband and I went in to get ice cream. We only had one mask. I am pregnant and do not wear one but sign said no mask no service. So I wore the mask and my husband put his shirt all the way over mouth and nose while in store. When it got time to serve us the young lady said you need a mask and I said that is doing the same thing a mask is. She refused service. Also another man was in the store with his mask on but not covering his mouth or nose while in store but she served him. I guess you just need a mask to be served but not properly wear one. I love this location. My husband and I visit frequently. I love the cinnamon ice cream and he loves the peanut butter cookies. I have also ordered a cookie cake from this location. On the location itself, I'll start off by saying that employees that helped us were nice. But this location is only around a year old and I feel like it could be a little cleaner and in a bit better condition. Moving onto the ice cream, their flavor selection is really good. I sampled two limited time flavors, caramel macchiato and sweet cereal milk, and I really liked them both. I decided to get a scoop of caramel macchiato and a scoop of dark chocolate in a waffle cone with a couple mix-ins. I know this isn't the location's fault, it's just Marble Slab as a whole, but my main nitpick is about the prices. I got 2 scoops which is $4.99. It is a decent size, but I wish they would lower their prices, like by 25-50¢ or something. I think that would be more reasonable, but I'm probably making this into a bigger deal than it is lol. It is nice that they give an unlimited amount of mix-ins and you can get a waffle cone for no extra cost. I was glad that my cone was crunchy and not stale. Stale cones just ruin everything lol. We have visited a number of Marble Slab Creamery's over the years and we will not be returning to this location. We ordered what we have always ordered a waffle cup with vanilla and mixed with strawberries. The quantity of ice cream and strawberries was so small that it did not even fill half the cup. Our waffle bowl was not crunchy, it was chewy which means it's been exposed to air for too long and or old. The ice cream didn't taste that great, we've had much better ice cream at other ice cream shops. Also the portion size was tiny. Overall this place is disappointing. I promised my 6 year old some ice cream and we decided to stop at this place...as soon as I walked in I noticed two customers sitting down eating ice cream and another customer being helped...me and my daughter picked the flavors we wanted but no one was coming over to help us...the girls were all talking with the previews customer because they all go to the same school...after a good 5 minutes one of the girls pointed out to another girl that we were waiting...and one of them gave this pissed off face and walked away then another came to help us. Instead of asking us politely what we ordering she comes over and asked "what do you guys want?" I told her what my daughter wanted and the whole time she had this unhappy face...even my 6 year old notices and asked me what was wrong with the girls...why they were all mad!! After she made my daughter ice cream I told her that I also wanted a smoothie...she once again gave this attitude as if she didn't want me to order anything else. All the other two girls are doing is standing next to her not doing anything! Finally one of them asked if I had any other orders and I told her yes and gave her my final order...and the only reason I didn't walk out was because of my daughter being there with me. Point is if you not happy doing your job don't gave attitudes to the customers because most likely customers will stop coming in! I was skipped not once, but twice. There was a man in back of me and I was next up to have my order taken. Two girls walked in to the back of the line and one of the staff members, Ashley, quickly took their order and completely skipped me and the other man behind me. They were making jokes so I assumed we were skipped because those were her friends. So after she makes their ice cream, the other worker, Quinton, acknowledged the man behind me so I was skipped again. At this point, it was my turn to come up to the register and I made it known loud and clear that I was skipped TWICE. The other staff member apologized to me and took my order. I asked for the lousy staff members names and they questioned why I wanted to know. I simply replied, "because I was skipped. That's not acceptable." To which Ashley replied "oh I'm sorry, I didn't see you." Um what? What a joke! She was clearly paying too much attention to her friends walking in than doing her job.
