Quiet little shop. Prompt service. Delicious products! There were no other patrons there. We stopped in on our way back to Houston from NASA.

Waffle bowls were a bit stale and the pricing is a bit much. The only thing worth the 3 stars was how good their cheesecake ice Cream taste.

    Thats the garage we got!

Quick service. Many combinations. Always a good choice. The lady that helped us was patient as my girls figured out their order.

This ice cream parlor was kind of small with limited seating along the side of a wall. They had a variety of ice cream choices, cones, toppings, ice cream cakes, and milkshakes. The person working behind the counter greeted us and asked what we would like. My son ordered mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone. My husband ordered the cheesecake ice cream in a cup. The cheese cake ice cream was good. It definitely had the cheesecake flavor. The texture of the ice cream was creamy. Overall Marble Slab was an okay place to stop. With a small interior, okay service, and good ice cream.

The employee that was serving me seemed like a nice lady at first, but questionably didn't automatically give us a receipt at the end of purchase. It's extremely shady for an employee not to hand out a receipt, always ask for a receipt to check for unwanted charges. Also to the owner of this place, at the minimum hire at-least 2 people, the lady that was at the counter had to deal with about 5 customers when I was there (she did a really good job tending the customers). I cant imagine how busy it gets throughout the week with only one employee to tackle the work, do better Marble Slab Creamery.

When you walk in it's nice and bright. There is a lot of natural light from the windows. You can see all of the gelato and ice cream choices on one side and seating on the other side. It's not a very big place but you could buy your gelato and head outside to the huge outdoor area that surrounds the restaurants and stores. My son decided to go with a scoop of chocolate mint in a chocolate and nut cone. He thought it was yummy and finished the whole thing. My husband and I shared a cup of the lemon sorbet. It was a good size, not too much, and perfect for the both of us to share. The lemon sorbet was very good. It was light and tangy. You could definitely taste the lemon flavor with your first bite and then it became addictive. Overall it was a great place to stop for a sweet treat. It was clean and bright, the service was good, and the sorbet was yummy.

It's a small store with little room to stand, so if you're going to ask for a sample, try not to get a sample of everything like the gentleman in front of me. First, I sampled the dragon fruit with lychee. It was good, but not what I wanted. Next, I sampled the decadent cookie dough, and that was it for me. I ordered one scoop on a vanilla waffle cone, and my husband got one scoop of their cotton candy in a cup. Both flavors were amazing! Prices are fair for gelato, especially considering the quality.

They have lots of unique flavors I haven't seen anywhere else, such as goat cheese with sage oil and sea salt, and my personal favorite, SWEET CORN WITH RICOTTA! Be sure to sample it if it's in rotation, it tastes just like movie theater popcorn! The workers are very patient and accommodating, I probably asked for a sample of every flavor that was available! There's not too much seating, definitely more of a grab and go unless you have less than 6-7 people in your group! According to a sign in the store, the gelato is made in house, which is cool. There were lots of unique flavors and I should have taken a picture of the case, but alas I did not. They offered samples and Mark sampled the Lemon Pie (or a similar name) and loved it. He ordered two scoops - one lemon and one coffee. I tried both and WOW, the lemon was fantastic! I ordered one scoop of Tiramisu, which included alcohol. I almost passed on it because we don't drink, but I figured it couldn't be any stronger than 'near beer'. I'm glad I got the Tiramisu. It was delicious. I would never suspect there was alcohol in it. Because we would be heading home after, we decided to have a seat and eat it in the shop, which is very clean and cute. There are three two-seat tables in the shop (it's small), so be aware. There are a few tables out front. There's nothing not to like here. I want to try every flavor! It was absolutely delicious!

My friends offered to order for me since I was having a conversation, so I gave them my card and told them what I wanted. Waffle cone with two scoops. Lemon Custard on bottom, Pralines and Cream on top. They forgot by the time they went to order, so I just told the person behind the counter what I wanted. I got my ice cream and started eating while continuing on my conversation. The lemon custard looked wrong, but it was under the pralines and cream, so I decided to enjoy my ice cream and worry about that when I got to that part. Sure enough, it wasn't lemon custard. It was mango, which was back to back with the lemon custard. Ordinarily, I probably would've just continued on eating it and not said anything because mango is pretty good and I occasionally enjoy a mango smoothie. However, the lemon custard is my ABSOLUTE favorite and not very many locations even have it. So my heart was pretty set on it. On top of that, mango sometimes hurts my tummy and that late at night I wasn't willing to chance it. Since I had a cone, I told them about the mix up and just asked if I could get the lemon custard in a cup. Obviously they couldn't reuse the mango, and I wasn't going to eat it. I threw it away, but tried to at least save some of my cone to have with my lemon custard. They were very nice and helpful that late in the evening. There was another person who ordered a mango smoothie and ended up with a mangonada. She didn't want it and I don't know if she gave it away or threw it away, but she ended up with nothing because she didn't tell them about the mistake. It was a good time with friends, and I will go back. I will also make sure to watch as they're scooping so I get the right thing the first time.
