    Shrimp and crab fried rice

We've eaten here twice, and unfortunately had two pretty different experiences. Our first visit was great. The service was attentive, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, we left impressed. Our second visit wasn't nearly as good. The service was noticeably slower, and the scallops had an odd taste that made us question whether something was off. We couldn't quite put our finger on it, but they definitely didn't taste right. Makes me extra weary with seafood. Very off putting, verdict is still out on if we'll be back.

The frozen haddock that was flavorless and lacked seasoning

Our family went for lunch at this place upon the recommendation of family. It was okay but nothing to write home about. It was a step below Red Lobster and I don't like Red Lobster so that's saying a lot. The clams casino was tasty and a little spicy. The crab dip was seasoned nicely and the toasted bread that accompanied it was buttery. The fried haddock tasted like it came straight from Gordon's Fisherman box in the frozen food section of the grocery store. No flavor whatsoever. Also, they had so many different menu items for a seafood restaurant that there's no way they can do everything well or turnover food quickly which is why they probably use frozen products. The service was prompt and the wait staff was very nice. There was no particular ambiance to the place so I can't speak to that.

Amazing food the waitress was amazing I love their rewards system Good portions and was fast service

Pan Seared Shrimp & Scallops with Lobster Risotto

Marblehead Chowder House is a seafood restaurant located on William Penn Hwy. in Easton. It's open every day 11 AM - 9 PM. This spot had been on my radar for quite some time, so I was happy to finally make it in. The experience was enjoyable, though it didn't quite meet the expectations I had going in. I started with clams casino, fried calamari, and baked French onion soup. The clams casino was satisfying, but the calamari was undercooked. The baked French onion soup was perfectly hot, rich, and cheesy, definitely the standout of the three. For my entree I ordered the pan seared shrimp and scallops with lobster risotto. The dish was slightly greasy, but it remained well-balanced and indulgently flavorful overall. Service was definitely on the slower side. That said, I'm never in a rush dining out, so it wasn't a big deal for me.

Very friendly servers. Prices Very reasonable. Service little slow. Food was good. Reminds you as a step up from Red lobster. Over all not a bad place

Everything was delicious, hot and fresh. The cocktail was perfect, not overly powerful. The server, Tina was great, quick and friendly. Noise was average for a full restaurant, mostly older crowd.

First visit & absolutely LOVED! First visit because there will definitely be more. It looks like a smaller building in the outside, but feels huge inside & it's beautifully accented with its maritime theme. Anthony was our server and he did a fantastic job. He was very helpful and courteous. It was hard to choose a meal because I'm on a ketosis diet and need to focus on protein and veggies. This was hard in a very good way! In my three months of fearing a menu dining out ... I had actual choices. I selected the Crab Norfolk and fell in love. My husband had the Shrimp and Teriyaki rice dish and enjoyed his lobster pierogies as his side. My friends enjoyed their meals also. They loved the appetizer sampler, another had the same Crab Norfork that I selected and her husband chose a salmon and rice dish. They had been here before and I'm pleased they suggested it for great options. We shall return! Also, so convenient to book a reservation in the Open Table app. When we first arrived, they have a table just inside dedicated to take out pick up and the staff member is dedicated to collecting the order information. Loved this idea too.

Very good food. Seafood au gratin. Soft shell crabs. Tilapia. Pasta de Mari.

The food was great and reasonably priced. My wife went there for Friday dinner. I had the baked cod and she had the shrimp scampi.

We didn't have to wait too long (less than 10 mins) as the table we ended up at was vacant from the time we got there. It was the table right outside the front door. It was a little small for a party of 4 plus a toddler but we made due as we were all hungry and it was the first available without a reservation. What we ordered: - BROILED OYSTERS (garlic butter, parmesan, pecorino romano, parsley, panko) - NEW ENGLAND WHOLE CLAM CHOWDER (New Zealand wild cockles, potatoes, parsley, light cream broth) - LOBSTER BISQUE (house made lobster stock, cream, lobster meat garnish) - 5 OZ FILET MIGNON (caramelized shallot whipped potatoes, french beans, bearnaise) and I added Crab Imperial Topping for an additional $10 - COMBINATION PLATE (brussel sprouts, lemon brown butter, fried dayboat scallops, jumbo shrimp, crabcakes, capers, potato hash, french beans with white wine butter sauce) - ANGUS BURGER (6 oz house made beef patty, brioche bun, aged white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion) and we updated the fries to Market Fries - LOBSTER ROLL (toasted croissant, ¼ lb. warm lobster meat, butter, whole grain mustard aioli, fresh cut fries) - KIDS FISH AND CHIPS (battered haddock, fresh-cut fries, and classic tartar sauce) - MIKE'S SMOKED BARREL OLD FASHION (3nf Jack Daniel's #7, maple syrup, muddled orange, smoked glass) - BERRY & BASIL MOCKTAIL (Blueberry balsamic shrub, orange blossom tea, muddled orange, and simple syrup) - THE BRIDESMAID MOCKTAIL (strawberry, lemon shrub, and simple syrup) The server was very nice but she seemed overwhelmed. The menus and napkins that were stored outside were flying all over the place, she had to keep picking them up from the floor/pathway. Server was not around when we wanted the check so we had to wait. The kids meal was so large and my nephew loved it. The Broiler Oysters and Lobster Roll were very good! All the other food was fine except for the Filet Mignon - it was ordered medium well and it came out more well done and was dry. Glad I added the Crab Imperial Topping because that was tasty. The New England Clam Chowder is different to those I'm use to having so it was a surprise and we didn't really like it. The broth is thin and not as flavorful as I'm use to but they did say it was in a "light broth" on the menu. I'm also not use to the clams being still in their shell, all the ones I've tried have been shucked and often times chopped. The drinks were ok but nothing wowed us, probably wouldn't recommend them. All in all it was decent and glad we tried it even if we didn't enjoy everything because it might be personal taste. I think mostly the seafood items are done well and that makes sense due to part of the name of the place being "Fish Market".

We decided to order dessert, but after waiting another 30 minutes and never receiving it, we finally got up and went to the host stand to pay and leave. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional throughout the evening, and I truly appreciated their attitude. However, the service was extremely slow, and it appeared the restaurant was significantly understaffed.
