Just.............beware. I lost my car because of these folks, plain and simple. They overplayed their hand with the insurance company by inflating the estimated repairs to a level where the insurance company had no choice but to total my vehicle--and I had been found 100% not responsible so I should have gotten my car back in beautiful condition at literally zero cost to me. Instead, after it had already been at the shop for a week and a half, I was notified in an email that my vehicle was now considered to be a total loss, and I walked away with nothing but a measly, questionably valued check.... Have since heard that this exact situation is not an uncommon outcome here and has happened to others..... I'd have to say that the office manager Donna--who was absolutely great to deal with in the beginning--she became particularly tough & unpleasant to deal with once the car was totaled and the job fell apart. She openly seems to thrive on & genuinely enjoy confrontation & being aggressive and hard-edged. I've only heard good things about the quality of any actual repair work done on cars, and I was counting on & just assuming I would also become one of those very happy & satisfied customers who leave with a beautifully repaired vehicle, but my experience left me without my trusty truck which I could have, would have, and should have used for several more years to come, and I just never realized in a million years that this outcome was even an actual possibility when I put thought & even sought advice into where I should bring it to originally.....I'm just incredibly disappointed how things were (mis)handled under their watch. Just one local man's opinion. P.S. Although they wanted basically $12,000+ from the insurance company to do "all" the required repairs, interestingly once it was totaled I was offered to have it very nicely fixed up for only around $6,000, although at that reduced figure I would not be getting every single thing repaired exactly the same as the $12k would have gotten me, apparently. read more

Five stars all day. A well run operation. These guys are top notch! My vehicle was heavily damaged from hitting a deer. I stopped by to see when they could start working on it. They actually had me leave my vehicle that night and started working on on the next day. These guys are awesome from being able to communicate with them, to setting up my rental, to them communicating with my insurance company. Honestly I write no reviews unless the service was excellent and these guys were above and beyond! It started with Bryan who met with me and took pics even before I met with my insurance agent. Once the claim was accepted they continued working with me. As Bryan said to me many times, we are going to do whatever it takes to get the work done on time and more importantly, on budget! Sad to say, but a year after my last experience with Marblehead Collision, while stopped at a read light, someone flattened the back end of our 2019 RAV4. Marblehead Collision again had the car for a while, due to a variety of parts issues, but the repaired car as returned, is again as good a car repair can be. I looked hard inside and out, and there is no evidence any repair, let alone a big one, has been made. And a year later, everything still looks excellent. read more

I brought my BMW in for repair last year and the service was dismal, other than the paint job which was very well done. It was a simple repair - replacing a fender and installing the front bumper and related components. The fender was not installed correctly - it was off by nearly half an inch (protruding over the hood, the fender wells had a one inch gap in them and the indicator light was nearly falling out. As for the front bumper, while the paint job was great, several components were not replaced and a hose was hanging down underneath the bumper. I brought it back to be remedied...the bumper was only marginally better and the hose was simply zip-tied to the back of the bumper -- shoddy. Turns out that a major under carriage panel was not replaced, exposing my engine and suspension to debris. The price was to include compounding scratches out of the door which was not done. Finally, the price paid was a few hundred more than what was agreed for poor work and missing parts. read more

Don has stayed on top of my project to make sure everything was done up to my standard. I felt safe and confident leaving my car there. When there was an issue that came up months after repair due to myself bringing in a used hood, Don immediately offered to make it right and replace the part with a brand new one under warranty. I had a new bumper put on my Ford truck in June 2013. My insurance company would only pay for an aftermarket bumper. After 6 months the bumper began showing signs of rust. I returned to Marblehead Collision and they immediately offered to switch out the bumper with an OEM part. They said they would not charge for the labor and I was only responsible for the additional cost of the better part. They went on to say that they would assume the risk with returning the part to the aftermarket manufacturer and guranteed that my total bill would only be the difference in cost of the part. My wife's car was hit by a falling branch during a wind storm--we had the car less than a year and so it really needed to be fixed right. These guys did a beautiful job. It was a substantial hit that the car took and necessitated the replacement of body panels, bumper, and repair to the rear hatch; 5k in damage all told. When I got the car back it looked like it was just off the lot! the panels were all dead strait, the gapes around the doors and the seams between the body panels were all perfectly aligned and the new paint was seamlessly faded into the rest of the car. They even touched up and buffed out some scratches in the front bumper that were unrelated to this incident. In addition, they were great to deal with and coordinated everything with the car rental, insurance company and adjusters--I really didn't have to do anything at all. They are friendly to boot!
