So, this store has to be the best furniture experience I've ever had. And how I came to find it is a long story but I was left completely impressed. I bought a new home last year and hadn't done anything about the furniture yet. I still had all my old stuff and just didn't really see anything anywhere that I liked. My father and I wanted to take my mother somewhere for Mother's day and so we took her to the Philharmonic House of Design Home Tour in Shady Canyon. It was a huge home 8 or 9 bedrooms and most of it was contemporary. The home was a totally different style though. Toward the end of the tour we went downstairs to the bottom level of the home and that's where my story actually begins and how I went on to become a client of Marc Pridmore Designs. Entering the theater and bar area I finally saw that someone got the style right for this house. Not that the other rooms weren't beautiful, but the theater and bar area were just done right. Traditional, grand but comfortable and lush. I could tell it was done with quality in mind. I met a guy named Zai there who explained the room and went over their services. It wasn't until he told me where they are located that everything started coming together. The old glabman's building is pretty much a huge furniture store and they are now located there. He gave me a card and I hurried off to finish the tour. On our way out of the development, I decided it was worth going and checking out what else they were about, so the store was the next stop. What I found was by far the best furniture store I've ever been to. Walking in, I saw nothing but beauty. The grandness of the building and the entry of the store was pretty striking. Everything in it's place, nice upbeat music, a long marble floor "runway" (as I later learn they call it. lol) that spanned the entire building from front to back straight down the middle. It took a second for me to take it all in. A woman named Julie comes down the isle toward us smiling and instantly I'm thinking sales person coming to get us. lol Instead no, she extends her hand and says Welcome or Hello something to that affect, introduces herself, and asks us, (wait for it..) can I get you something to drink? She offered us something like, water, perrier or tea. I declined on all just thinking I wanted to get into the store and check it all out first. lol At this point I'm still in shock that someone hasn't jumped all over me like, I don't know, every store I've ever been to? lol Longer story made shorter (but still long) she was attentive but not overbearing. Everyone was completely down to earth. The store itself feels like you're enveloped in luxury but it's not like walking into a high end department store where everyone is snoody. It's just totally different than what you would expect. After a lot of looking I saw a living room set I wanted. Julie gave me all the information and I went home and slept on it. I returned that weekend to buy the sofas I liked. I had quite a few questions on whether it would fit or not though. I brought my measurements and photos in and she helped me determine that the set would fit. The price was good, the furniture perfect for me. It's gonna fit, it's the right color etc. So I ask, how long do I have to wait to order it. Julie says, I can have this one or you can order. Where else can you get two century sofas right away? Mind Blown... They delivered yesterday. I'm completely happy with everything. Now I'm looking at the den thinking it needs some help. At least now I know where to go! read more

We saw the ad in the newspaper about this new luxury store. We drove down to Costa Mesa to check it out. My wife and I were very impressed. It's nicer than any store we've ever been to. It was a completely different shopping experience than any other furniture store my wife has ever taken me to. The best part for me was the man cave. I stayed in there while my wife picked out what she wanted. The guy helping us was friendly. He didn't meet us at the front door. His name is Gus. Marc the owner introduced himself and gave us a great deal. The place is a huge 2 story building. My wife doesn't know it yet but we are going to be losing a guest bedroom and putting in a movie theatre/ man cave like they have at this store.
