Located near Vaughn Mills and in a food plaza, there's plenty of parking spots. From outside, it didn't impress, but once you enter the restaurant, it looks classy and elegant with a wall of red wine display. My friends already got us a table at their side patio which is a nice surprise. I couldn't see it from the front of the restaurant. The service was great and the washroom was nice and clean. The bread was chewy and they gave their sauces ready on the table. For our main dishes, we all got pizzas. It all looked delicious. Mine was yummy with non-burned sun-dried tomatoes (that was the highlight of the pizza). The pizza dough did get hard instead of chewy on my last slice of it. My partner mentioned his got soggy near the end. I guess it depends on the toppings. Verdict- a happy experience and I wouldn't mind going back.

Seafood de mare, delicious!

This is a staple restaurant in the heart of Vaughan. Traditional, home cooked Italian fare where we can honestly say that we couldn't pick a favourite dish, because they were all tasty! The calamari was lightly battered and so soft. The linguine was well seasoned and not too salty. But what was surprisingly good were the rice balls, that had a rich tomato sauce. A great spot for families, dates or parties. Make reservations!

Clean establishment with friendly helpful staff. The pizza was very good. Thin crust, crispy with the right amount of toppings and cheese. The sauce was very good as well, since a sauce can make or break a pizza. The ricotta crostini are excellent. Rainy liked the balsamic and touch of honey took it to the next level. Would definitely go back.

This is one of our family's favourite places for delicious Italian food. The staff here are so welcoming and the service is amazing. Spacious restaurant and perfect for family gatherings. Tons of parking spaces too.

Tiramisu

I came here one weekday afternoon with a few of my colleagues for lunch, the restaurant was quite full but thank goodness we didn't have to wait long for a table. We have ordered grilled calamari as appetizer, pear and prosciutto arugula salad, and black tiger shrimp linguine. The grilled calamari was delicious, and the pesto sauce balanced the saltiness from the calamari. The salad was super refreshing! The pear was crunchy and has the crisp in every bite, together with the prosciutto, it was a well-balanced sweet-and-savory dish! The linguine was cooked al dente, with a strong garlic flavour. For dessert, we ordered a slice of tiramisu and boy, we picked the right one to finish off the meal- creamy yet not super sweet slice of cake... what a sweet way to wash off the salt!

Came by for a dinner unplanned. Just had a craving for Italian The mussels hit the spot enough for me but I do wish the marinara was a bit more thick and a touch of wine. It was just a tiny underwhelming. The calamari was good size pieces but lacking a bit in flavor. Pasta was disappointing. I ordered penne ala vodka and the sauce was extremely watery. I can appreciate that if they had seasoned the sauce a bit more and perhaps cooked it to a thicker consistency, it would be drastically different. Sadly this did not hit the spot. My boyfriend ordered a pizza which was really nice. A good, thin crust cooked really nicely. Lovely portion of arugula, prosciutto and the balsamic glaze. The fig was a lovely touch too! Service was quick and attentive. Portions were quite large and a decent price. While I would not likely be back personally, I do recommend the pizza if you're in the area looking for a bite.

Pizza Bianca

Lots of different interesting cool Gourmet pizzas. I had the Pizza Bianca Bianca roasted garlic, gorgonzola, fior di latte cheese, dry figs, arugula, speck (smoked prosciutto) drizzled with balsamic glaze. They charge extra for additions or changes but when I asked to have one of the most expensive items removed from the pizza, they didn't reduce the price. $25. I think the pizza had some pretty cool notes to it with the figs, balsamic vinegar and arugula but something underneath had this powder texture and at other times a sticky paste. I didn't know what it was. You have to eat this fresh because if you take this home to heat it up in the oven, arugula will dry up and become kind of Blackish Brown. This is more a place for adults to come in socialize. The kids won't like the pizza here.

Vegetarian spaghetti with burrata cheese

A great dining experience. Great selection of startes and mains. Their hot oil is just too good. There were decent options for vegetarians. So we were looking for a quick fix and a patio option when we found Marcellos on yelp. Thank you yelp! And we agree Marcellos speaks to its reviews anc standa out in service and food both. We ordered aranchini to be shared between the two for starters it was 3.5/5, my hubby did a chi ken pesto fettuccini pasta he mentioned that it was the best pesto out of italy he ever had, so 5/5. I had burrata san marzano spaghetti pasta vegetarian 4/5 . It was good but nothing out of the world. But what made Marcellos stand out- the service 5/5, the condiments 5/5, the location and seating 5/5. Also how the food was prepared the pasta spaghetti was thin and cooked to a perfection. Al-denta and the sauce was not looking like a garnish on pasta was ample and i could use some complimentary bread to dip in the sauce and enjoy. The bread was refilled if you ask for it. ( it would be nice if they serve it warm, adds a lot of value to the food) Our server was very friendly and was paying attention to us at all times even though he was serving 3 other table i guess. The parm garnishing was generous too, no cheap shots there too. So We are hoing there again soon!

Nice crust with a good chew. Good amount of toppings. Really solid New York style pizza. Dave Portnoys pizza review went to their downtown location and gave it a 8.4 if you follow him. There was no parking on Avenue but I found some parking on the residential street just North of the restaurant. The inside is really nice with comfy seating. Not a ton of seating but I think they get a lot of takeout. Service was good but I did have to wait more than the 20 mins they said as they seemed to be dealing with online orders.

This includes the pepperoni, cheese, Frank's best, and spicy vodka pepperoni. Service here is super friendly, the spot is clean with staff constantly wiping tables and the floors during the winter time. I got a whole dr. pepperoni slice with extra cheese and it came piping hot, cooked perfectly and so delicious. Also got slices of their spicy vodka which is my favourite and a full 5/5 for me. Frank's best is a great change in flavour with goat cheese, mozz, caramelized onions, rosemary, organic honey and a sesame crust. Don't forget to also get their spicy creamy garlic dip and mix it well! Overall, I love this spot and think their pizzas are so good! Their crusts are delicious as well, especially the sesame crust.

Pizzas come in 12 (4 slices) and 16 inch (8 slices). There is also a square pizza called a Tavern Cut. Pizza is on the more expensive side. We order a 12 and 16 inch with 1 dipping sauce and the bill was over 70 bucks with tax. We got takeout so no eating in. Pizza was ordered online and picked up. What was ordered: 16 inch Fred's Best - white pizza with béchamel sauce, goat cheese, caramelized onions with a sesame coated crust attached with honey 12 inch Dr.Pepperoni - fresh tomato sauce with generous topping of pepperoni 1 spicy creamy garlic dip The verdict? The crust was decent and pizzas are thin. We did find both pizzas a little too greasy for our preference. The flavour of Fred's Best was a combination of sweet from the honey and caramelized onions and salty from the cheese. Dr. Pepperoni was better with spicy kick from the chunks of tomatoes and pepperoni. Salty is the other descriptor I would use. Would we order again? Maybe. At these prices I would consider this special occasion pizza!

However I was disappointed to see them not following COVID protocols (i.e. wearing masks). I will usually order an individual combo for myself which is 10 wings, fries, & a pop drink. This comes to $8.20, which is mind-blowing and I'll let you know why in a bit. The second option for party nights or UFC fight nights is their combo 3. It includes a large pizza (3 toppings, cheese included), 20 chicken wings, garlic bread, & 4 cans of pop. With all of this food, it will cost you $26.55. Their garlic sauce will cost you $0.25 extra. Starting with the pizza, it is not the best. However with the garlic sauce, it boosts the flavour. The dough is not too thick nor thin and is cooked well to my liking. The toppings does a decent job of holding the pizza to an average standard. This is a perfect pizza for a group of friends who are looking to save money and supporting a local business. Let's move on to the wings. I believe all of their flavours are consistent and appetizing. My favourite goes head to head between mild and BBQ. The mild sauce has a zest and a hint of heat. While the BBQ sauce has some tang and sweetness, not the original smokey flavour. Another plus, is that you will NEVER get raw wings, they will always be 100% cooked and that is a guarantee. Lastly, the sides I get are fries and garlic bread. The fries are similar to Costco fries, which is completely fine with me since I love the texture. The garlic bread gives me an old school vibe filled with nice garlicky and crispy bread. There's an option to add cheese to the garlic bread, but I believe it's best when hot - so do not save this for the next day. -TwoHappyThumbs

This rating is based on a casual dining restaurant experience…read more 3 of us came in for dinner on a Thursday night. I made the reservation in advance and wasn't sure what to expect. The place has been here for years but this was my first visit. It's located in a plaza on the south side of Hwy 7 so there's private parking. As you come in, there's the bar and the entrances to both the main and private party dining rooms. We were quickly greeted and given our choice of seating in either room, as the private party room had only a small birthday party in a little section. We could enjoy a colder temperature in the private room, or average room temperature in the main room where it would be less noisy. We chose the main room and it wasn't uncomfortable. Our host provided our menus and gave a choice of bottled, mineral, or tap water. Tap water in stemmed glasses with ice was fine with us. To my surprise, it came with a full basket of complimentary bread, butter and spicy oil. I have not seen this for years and we appreciated it. We ordered a rice balls (4 pcs) appetizer which came with marinara. They were a good size and had some cheese pull. Our entrees were a Ricky pizza (one of their 20 specialty pizzas); chicken parmigiana; and home made pappardelle with chicken and pesto cream sauce. Our orders were served within a few minutes of each other, all huge, and piping hot. We were offered additional grated cheese tableside. Besides our host, the owner (I assume) came round to serve my husband's Montecristo cocktail and wish him a happy birthday. He continued to check in along the way as well. This restaurant reminds me of being in Calabria at eateries just like this, meaning, the Italian equivalent of the British neighbourhood pub experience. There are families with children who may roam, groups of ladies getting together for a meal, singles having their pizza and beer after work, all in a space that somehow makes you aware of being connected in your mealtime. The food is what you may remember enjoying as a kid at your Italian friend's house: nonna's home made everything, from the bread and oil to the pasta and tomato sauce. It's not fancy, it's plentiful and hearty home food. The tomato sauce is fresh, exactly what all my family produces from their own jarred tomatoes. My chicken was cooked through without being dry. The pizza was nicely crisp and charred, straight from their wood oven. The pesto cream pappardelle was delicious, with plentiful pieces of grilled chicken. Both my daughter and I had half our meals left to enjoy later. You can order half portions for half the price. My husband managed to devour his whole pizza. He even ate the crust - which he never does. We didn't order wine or dessert as that was waiting at home. I didn't think to check if they offer any prosecco besides the basic wine list but their website is very well done, so I will look again, because I would definitely return. It will be like being back in my family town in Italy.
