We reserved a table for our anniversary, when we arrived we were promptly seated at a table already set for 2. The atmosphere here is cozy, and romantic, although rather loud when there are even just several tables filled. The service was great throughout our meal. The food was excellent, we started with craft cocktails and wine, and for an app we had the whipped ricotta - yum! For our entrees we went with the braised beef short rib with saffron risotto, and he had the duck cheek. Then ended with a cannoli and house made tiramisu. Everything was well done and delightful! Highly recommend for your next date night!

The best Italian on the Northshore, period! The food here is consistently amazing. Everything on the menu is delicious, the wait staff are always gracious and helpful and they have a nice wine selection. My personal favorite is the lasagna and the beef short rib, both one of the best I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. The lasagna is simply incredible and I'm fairly picky about how I like it. It's a perfect balance of fresh pasta, red sauce, meat and cheese, then perfectly baked. The food is a perfect balance between elegant and well presented but not overly pretentious, genuinely well done Italian food . Generally how I feel about the place overall, you don't have to get overly dressed up as cocktail attire or similar is the norm. Reservations at least a week out or more are advised as they usually don't have many options last minute or if you walk in.

This place was great!! We loved the moody ambiance of this place. We were 12 people, and they were very accommodating and quick for our party. To start, they brought out complimentary bread. We then ordered the calamari, meatballs, brussel sprouts, and antipasto board. All the appetizers were great, but the brussel sprouts were a hit all around! The balsamic glaze on them was fantastic!! May be the best ones I've ever had! I also got the corn and crab bisque which was good but could have had more seasoning. For my main entree, I got the linguine tritone. The seafood and the sauce was perfect!! Lastly, we got the tiramisu and cheesecake. The tiramisu was to die for! I can't wait to be back to try more!

I've been here before and it was pretty good then I was very disappointed with my veal dish tonight not only that the tomato sauce had very little flavor and no seasoning. Unfortunately the cheesecake was a letdown. Also they have very good service and it's a beautiful little place I just hope they improve their food.

You'll never mistake Pontchartrain Vineyards' tasting room for one of the distination wineries in…read moreNapa Valley. The building reminded me more of what I would encounter in northern Sonoma, to the west of Healdsburg, or further south in the Paso Robles region. The tasting room is a decent size, although as I was the only visitor at the time, it seemed quite large. Quite a different experience from trying to enter on a Saturday night of a Jazz'n in the Vines concert. There is a patio terrace next to the building which overlooks the vineyard. Since it was a blazing hot June afternoon, I stayed inside rather than sit on the patio. There were seven wines to taste for a modest $5 fee. Four were from sourced grapes (California), two were American/French hybrids grown on the estate and the final was from a native American cultivar, also grown on the estate. All vintages were between 2005 & 2007, except for the recently released Syrah/Cabernet blend which is a 2009. I liked the Roux Saint Louis (a white wine based on the Blanc du Bois grape) as a nice summer wine. The Rouge Militaire is based on the American Cynthiana/Norton (a native red grape). It's a heavier red wine, and still needs a little time to open up. John Seago, the winemaker is often behind the bar, in the tasting room, but was out working the fields on this trip.

There was ample room on the lawn for everyone to have their picnic set up and still have enough room to move around. A food truck was on site for quick bites and of course there was wine available. I asked for something light white and not sweet and was told to try Le Trolley. This wine did not disappoint. It tasted like Sauvignon Blanc and I was pleased to learn that it is one of the wines made from the locally grown grapes. I am looking forward to returning child free so my husband and I can do a tasting and enjoy the scenery.

He was very attentive and patient. We never felt rushed (we were there for 3 hours). The food was absolutely delicious from beginning to end. We ordered several of restaurants traditional signature dishes. The Lump crabmeat and Brie soup was the best bisque I've had in quite a while. The Softshell crab was massive, filled with Crab and shrimp dressing. It's a little on the pricy side but definitely worth it! It was a fantastic evening with excellent food, wonderful service and great friends. A perfect spot for celebrating birthdays or special occasions!

A lot of us started with the Tyler specialty drink and loved it, it tasted like an orange creamsicle and lemonade combined. So refreshing and fun not too sweet. We also ordered the bruschetta, which was super tasty, and everyone was obsessed with the nuts on top. Such a good touch. Several people in our group got steaks, and every single one was cooked perfectly. We tried the scallops with potatoes, absolutely perfect, and the salmon was delicious too. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And the desserts... WOW. The banana bread pudding was so delicious. We had to try a few of their other desserts as well, and not a single one disappointed, every single one was spectacular. I only got a picture of the banana bread pudding, but trust me, they were all incredible. The chocolate lovers in our group absolutely loved the Chocolate Sheba cake too. Everything was so good. The place itself looks spectacular. From the moment you walk in, the seating area is so cool and inviting, I had to take pictures! They accommodated our large party so well, and the service was completely top-notch from start to finish. Our server was amazing, and we loved every second of the experience. 10/10 would eat again!!
