My goodness, everything was so good! The crispy pata has an incredibly crispy skin, with soft, tender, and flavorful pork meat inside. We were told by the owner, Ryan, that they slow cook the meat in its own juices for 6 hours prior to deep frying it. The result is nothing short of one of the best interpretations of this favorite Filipino dish. Definitely my favorite! The lumpia is top-notch -- crispy, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. The siomai is garlicky and delicious as well. All of this for just $32. The price is unbelievable considering the quality of food they are serving. Everything was fresh and served hot from the kitchen, unlike the typical Filipino "turo-turo" style restaurant. They also have combo meals for $12.99 all day. I have to try their lechon belly and crispy kare-kare next time. This place is truly a hidden gem! You have to try it, and you will not be disappointed. It's across the street from Arby's in a small strip mall. You'll definitely have to make a U-Turn because getting into the lot is weird. Plenty of parking since it is a shared lot. We decided to do two combo meals plus the aristocrat chicken. When dining in, there are about 4 tables so it can be limited if there is a rush hour. The owner was very pleasant and he explained about the items before we looked at the menu. Lumpia was crispy and tasty. Garlic rice was a little oily but still good. Overall, it's about a 4. I would have given them a 5 but that rock hard crispy kare kare is hard to forget. However, I'll return to try other items. -crispy kare kare with garlic rice and lumpia 3 - I wanted to like this but the crispy kare kare was a huge let down. It was very tough to eat. I've had Filipino food many times and it was never this hard. It's a shame because the peanut sauce with the veggies and eggplant were delicious. -bbq pork belly (liempo) with garlic rice and lumpia 5 - I really liked the BBQ pork belly. Very easy to cut with a spoon. Meat was well seasoned. It is fatty, so it's best to eat it with rice. -aristocrat chicken 5 - highly recommended. Chicken is extremely flavorful even for leftovers. Meat is very moist and juicy. Nice balance of sweet and salty. I should have gotten the 10 pieces.

2/24/26 update: 6…read moremonths ago I tried going there during their posted opening hours on Tuesday and they randomly just left (9:05 am). On their social media, they apologized and said that everything is better now. I called today to see if they are open. I purposely called an hour after their opening time to see what is available (10 am). A woman told me they opened up an hour late so they only have milkfish and nothing else. They should change their hours so that they have food available when they open. I like to support small, local businesses but this is unacceptable. Not sure I'll try again, given their current track record.

We were greeted quickly and warmly as soon as we came in. And the same lady who welcomed us in was also our server. Let me tell you she was absolutely incredible. She was personable, helpful, very welcoming and had a great sense of humor as well. She was constantly checking in on us, which is great, especially because this was our first time. You can tell from the pictures we ordered a little bit of food not too much and let me tell you everything actually turned out surprisingly delicious. I do find the Filipino food is a little bit of hit or miss, especially in the states. However, everything was delicious. In fact, we only had a little bit of leftovers and managed to clean the plates of everything else. This place is truly authentic. You can still tell that it's owned by a family, which I think is fantastic. The decor is incredible as well. But most importantly for me, which is not how photographic the places, but rather the quality and the taste of the food. One fun thing is that the café next-door is also owned by the family that owns this restaurant. And so you can order food and desserts from the next-door and they'll bring it over to you at the restaurant. I will do a separate review of the café as well. Another fun thing was that as we were on the way out from dinner, we noticed that they were setting up a traditional kamayan set up on a table nearby for a party of six. We had the privilege of meeting the owner and he helped tell us about their set up their pricing and also that quite frankly you can customize us any way that you like. We will definitely be coming here again, even though it is quite far, but this was well worth the drive.

Our group ordered lumpia, kare kare, bangus, palabok and lechon kawali. The kare kare came with in house bagoong and it was savory but not too shrimpy. As everyone knows, each Filipino cook has different ways of making their dishes. All was good and not disappointed in anything we ordered. I'm nervous about this review, because I'm pretty confident I'm not the right person to write this…read more Let me start by stating up front that I am not now, nor have I ever been, Filipino. This is the first and only Filipino restaurant I've ever eaten at, so I don't claim to have a great frame of reference. Let me also add that I've eaten here five or six times, and to this day I have no idea what I've ordered. But it's soooo good. Everything I've ever had from Salamat Po has been amazing. So I want to speak to people like me who don't know Filipino cuisine- get in there and try it, you'll be glad you did. I generally go there for lunch, which begins with me standing patiently behind several people who clearly know what it is they're ordering, and they're ordering lots of it. While I'm waiting, I stare at everything in the glass case, and usually something new slides out of the kitchen. I might be wrong about this, but I think the food has been different every time I've been there. When I get to the counter, the server always helpfully tells me the name of whatever dish I'm pointing at, but I'm fairly hopeless when it comes to learning these things. The gentleman today was happy to let me sample anything I wanted, but by the time I got up there my heart was already set on something- a beef stew that wound up tasting as good as it looked, tender and flavorful, in an absolutely perfect broth. I also picked up some sort of fried, salted cinnamon plantain dessert that I'll be dreaming about for the next few nights. I found the portion size to be excellent, with a healthy helping of stew on a bed of rice- more than enough to fill me up for lunch and still have a few bites to share with a co-worker. There are still some things I'm looking forward to trying there- the dessert case has some glorious-looking puddings I need to get next time (unless they have those plantain desserts again), and there's a fish entree I've seen a few times that's been calling my name. Just a note for my fellow eaters new to Filipino food- bring your sense of adventure and an open mind. You'll find some flavors, textures and- let's be honest- some parts you're not used to. The staff were very polite and helpful, and although all the tables were full, it was still quiet in the restaurant. I got a pitcher of water for the three of us, which was complementary. You can get cans of soda as well. Small bathrooms, but very clean. Overall, I liked the place a lot, and if I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I shall return.
