We were craving some Filipino food and decided to try out a new place nearby. Located in a plaza next to the canes and Texas road house in the area there was plenty of parking in the parking lot which was great as this restaurant was only grab and go. We headed over to Chibogan, and ended up ordering everything we were craving. They even had siopaos, we got the chicken ones to try. They were okay, have mostly dough rather than filling but the filling had plenty of flavors. We ordered 2 meal combos, the pork adobo, and the beef stew. The combos come with 2 lumpias, rice and pancit noodles. The portions were huge and again tons of flavors. They also came with a drink - they offer Coke products or bottle water. We got an individual order of the sisig, and the sinigang soup. The sisig was delish, and for an individual order you could totally feed like 4-5 people with how much was packed in there. The sinigang needed more flavoring but it had tons of veggies and meat in it. We also got the lechon, which I was told they were known for. It was great, not too greasy and the skin was perfectly crispy. Lastly, for our sweet treat we got the ube flan. My husband said he didn't want any dessert but of course the moment he saw me eating it and enjoying it so much he had to have some too. It was great! Can't wait to come back and try other menu items soon! They also do party trays if you're looking for catering for an event!

My first time trying Chibogan! I stopped by after a dentist appointment and decided to check it out because it was in the same plaza. I love Filipino food, but unfortunately, there aren't many Filipino spots around, so I'm really glad I came across this spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This isn't a sit-down restaurant, but a small and cozy spot that focuses on pick-up and catering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer party trays, individual meals, daily combo meals, and desserts. I ordered the oxtail combo meal, which came with two egg rolls, pancit noodles, two cups of rice, and a drink for $17.21 after tax. The food came out fast, and the lady inside was sweet. I didn't know what to expect, but the oxtail was flavorful. This was my first time trying a non-Korean oxtail dish, but it was a good experience. I do wish the portion were a bit larger. The pancit and egg rolls were pretty good, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, a solid experience and definitely worth checking out if you're craving Filipino comfort food. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of their menu!

This place offers counter service and friendly assistance when; making Filipino food selections. I tried both the pork and chicken barbecue sticks which were delicious, I had the namesake Chibogan pork roll, their soecialty, chopped, It's like lechon kawali but even better and tastier. The food is fresh, hot, made to order. Ask for the lechon chopped! Also had the garlic fried rice and pancit and everything tasted great! I will be back to try other things like palabok and pompano and sinigang!!

Ordered here a few times before from Trays of lumpia for a holiday or for a party to share with friends , today I ordered the Lechon combo plate and a small order of Palabok. The lechon was juicy and lots of flavor not dry and the skin was crunchy not chewy . The Palabok could use more sauce to add more flavor, and the Pancit less salty, overall , still one of the best for Filipino dishes around the Nortwest Suburbs ,friendly staff and lots of parking,

    So sad.

We ordered take out yesterday, palabok and pansit. We were very disappointed with the pansit. Noodles are crushed, you could hardly see any meat, it's very dark with seasoning, you could only see carrots definitely far from what they have on their online pictures. What is more disappointing was that we think this is the same with what they include in their combo meals. We never had a pansit like this. Very disappointed. Will not order again.

    Chicken skewer combo

I randomly stumbled upon this place. I love Filipino food so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. The food is absolutely delicious and made fresh to order. I ordered their chicken skewer combo and everything was prepared so well. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I had to wait just a short amount of time for my food. I would definitely recommend anyone to give this place a try. Happy to have a wonderful Filipino restaurant in Mount Prospect!

Finally, another Filipino restaurant in the NW suburbs. This is legit, legit Filipino cuisine, done well, authentic, delicious. The family that owns Chibogan is awesome, friendly, caring, and I wish them all of the luck to keep this gem around. There many, many Asian restaurants in the area, but very few focus on Filipino food, and even fewer are good enough to be a regular go-to for me and my family. I'm not going to detail every dish I've had, because there are many. I can tell you that since my mother passed away, since my Filipino cooking skills are spare, Chibogan IS the place we go to to fill that empty spot (and Mom would've approved). If you've never had Filipino food before, do yourself a favor and go to Chibogan and get yourself a combo plate. You won't regret it. Bayanihan!!

Oxtails....if you've never tried these..don't! The price of this cut keeps rising and we don't need anyone else discovering them.

I've picked up from here 3 times so far. This place is fire! Not every day you come across truly high quality Filipino food portioned and priced right. Errbody in there is cool, and I'm in and out quick. I've received a super satisfying amount of crunchy ass lechon skin and juicy lechon on EVERY visit. This place is a great value in this day and age. That's what's up.

A great addition to the area...an authentic Filipino take out restaurant. The place is family owned and we had the pleasure of speaking with the owner and her daughter while we waited for our order. We tried a combo meal with pork and chicken skewers, pancit, egg rolls and rice. The portion was very generous. The flavors were very good and the skewers were very tender. The egg rolls were mini, but were flavorful. The pancit was excellent. They are only take out and do not have plans to offer seating, but it definitely stop in and support a local business.

Today, I'm craving for lechon belly and I just don't want to eat pork it has to be somehow healthy. So I went to Asian grocery grab some bokchoy, cucumber, fish cake and pickled radish. Pork belly never fail!!! So tasty and tender! Pairs perfectly with my vegetable sides! Oh and I also make some egg drop soup with fish balls! It was a hit! The whole fam loved it!

After a long day of walking, talking, and imagining his future, we were more than ready for a comforting dinner. Tita Mia's has been a staple for us ever since a very good friend introduced it to our family a couple of years ago, and it has become a non‑negotiable stop every time we're in town. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by their inviting pastry area, an instant mood‑setter that hints at the good meal ahead. As we walked further in, the ambiance washed over me with a wave of nostalgia. Everything about the space, the décor, the warmth, the familiar scents, reminds me of home in Manila. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like you're about to enjoy a true Filipino dinner, not just a restaurant meal. Since it wasn't too busy, we were seated right away and our server took our order promptly. Service was quick and friendly, which we always appreciate after a long day. We ordered some of our favorites: Kare-Kare, sisig, and lumpiang gulay. Each entrée comes with rice, so there was no need to order extra. The food arrived fast and piping hot. Their Kare-Kare is exceptional, rich, creamy, and full of that deep peanut flavor that instantly brought me back to my mom's cooking. The sisig came out sizzling just the way it should, perfectly cooked and not overly salty like versions I've had elsewhere. And the lumpiang gulay was freshly fried, crisp, and absolutely perfect when dipped in vinegar and paired with rice. By the end of the meal, we were happily stuffed, with enough leftovers to take home. Tita Mia's continues to be one of those places that feels like a warm hug, consistent, comforting, and deeply satisfying. We'll always make it a point to come back, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Filipino flavors.

The staff is friendly, and this is located in a strip mall, and there is plenty of parking They have all sorts of Asian produce and dry, canned goods and frozen items as well that you don't typically find in major grocery stores. In the back of the store, they have a hot food area, where they display Filipino dishes for the day, which is supplies last, so I tried to come here as early as I can so that I would have all the options to pick for lunch. It has this hint of coconut and calamansi(Filipino Lime). The veggies they pair it with is a perfect combination fresh and sweet. The chicken Inasal is also out of this world. I don't know what the marinade is, but it's amazing. The only draw back is the long for wait for the food. It does come out tasty and juicy. It also comes in pork but I prefer the chicken.
