I visited this place recently as I saw it recommended on Tik Tok. The sandwich was good. However, the service I received from what appeared to be a manager was rude & unacceptable. His tone with me was unnecessary, he was calling out numbers and looked at me as if I couldn't comprehend what he was saying. He then stated what was in the order and I told him that wasn't my order, I didn't order cheese fries. He then requested to see my receipt, when I handed it to him he looked at it and slammed it on the counter. I looked at him in disgust as I handed you my receipt the least you could have done was handed it back to me. Really wanted to try this place and was going to order it using Uber Eats. Then I saw their prices. Everything is about 30% more expensive for delivery than if you get it in store. I had heard good things about this place, so when an intended stop at Mr. D's was denied when they were closed, a run to Marco's seemed like a good option. Drove up and walked in around 4:30 - a few cars in the lot and occasional customers coming in. I placed an order for a combo with fries. $11 total plus you get a small beverage. Fair price as the city goes. The staff working the place was great - polite, positive and pleasant. I was asked if I wanted it juicy - no, I prefer it with just a little juice - maybe just what the beef offers up. So I got home - the beef was good, but the sandwich was really too wet - falling apart in my hands. Sausage was average - not a ton of flavor, but the beef was quite tasty. And the portion was a healthy one. Overall, I'd go back - not quite the build up that I had heard about but definitely a good beef stand. Plus the people were good and teh service was fast. I found Marco's via my trusty pillow-mate, the yelp app. (I have to yelp before I go to sleep, each and everyday)! There's a plenty of parking for customers. They do accept credit cards. Yes, it's slightly pricer for the Belmont Central neighborhood standard. However, I don't think the price for the Italian beef sandwich was ridiculous at all. For $0.50 more, you will get a small fountain pop and fries. Of course, there's an extra charge for adding sweet or hot peppers: $0.50 in addition. If you frequent one of those neighborhood hotdog and sandwich joints, they typically charge $0.50 to $0.75 for that extra add-on. With that being said, it's a little more than $8 for the entire meal. Hubby also had a slice of cheese pizza ($2.40). Well, because he wasn't hungry, he went with this option. I personally would order something else other than that expensive slice of pizza. I think Marco's Italian beef sandwich had one of the juiciest beef I've had. However, it was very messy to eat because they really "immersed" that sandwich like a baptism! Anyways, the au jus was delicious. The fries, on the other hand, were alright. If you're a fan of crinkled fries, then you will have a better praise on those fries.
