We love Marcos, pepperoni is excellent, veggie is great, and the workers are always friendly and polite. It's our go-to pizza place.

The vegetables were delicious - we had sides of sautéed spinach ($9) and charred Brussels sprouts (listed as an app at $14). A meatballs starter ($16) was also enjoyed - with a dollop of whipped ricotta in the center. Two of us had pasta entrees. The spaghetti could best be described as "industrial" or "so so" (as one dining companion said). The chicken in the chicken Marsala was "very good". The butterflied shrimp in the parmigiana was so thickly encrusted with fried breading, that the shrimp was completely overwhelmed by mouthfuls of crusty batter that adhered to the shrimp. It was hard to appreciate the shrimp at all in there. They were huge (in fact, they looked like small breaded chicken filets). But the excess of breading and batter overwhelmed the shrimp. Also, stomach not feeling so great later. I write this from the throne. The server had the manager come over to speak to us, and he insisted that's just how it's made and that was that. (He offered to have a few more shrimp cooked up but the meal was done at that point). $32 was a lot to pay for mediocre pasta and breading with shrimp. On the fair side, when asked about the shrimp parmigiana vs another dish, the server said that she would recommend the shrimp because there would be more to take home after - which was not our goal for dinner. For my meal I would give it no more than 2 stars but my companions enjoyed theirs more (despite the "so so" spaghetti), so I upped to 3. Will not be eating here again.

A group of 7 of us stopped by Ripe for lunch. The cashier and prep cook at this quick-serve restaurant didn't miss a beat as they provided prompt, efficient service, even when we requested some tweaks to the items we ordered. The menu features both lunch and breakfast choices, with a focus on healthy fare, especially salads and bowls. They also include a wide range of sandwiches, wraps, burgers and quesadillas. A couple of people ordered the tuna poke bowl and were satisfied with their meal. A few others ordered the Greek salad, which included feta cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes along with the greens. The salad was tasty and a nice size portion. And the dressing was delicious. I had the Tulum Lifter rice bowl with chicken. It was very good and quite satisfying. The only disappointment was the avocado toast with poached eggs. The person expected the eggs to be runny so the yolk could mix with the toast, but they were fully cooked. The Ripe server quickly replaced the entree and apologized for the miscommunication. Overall, we had a nice lunch and plan to stop by again soon.

The space was clean with plenty of seating, and the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They gave me time to browse the menu without any rush, and were ready to take my order the moment I decided. I went with the Falafel and Eggplant Pita Wrap, ordered exactly as it comes -- five crispy handmade falafels, roasted eggplant, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, purple cabbage slaw, white onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lemon tahini sauce. What I loved about the presentation was how they sliced the pita and stuffed the toppings inside the pocket, then placed the eggplant and falafel on the outside before wrapping everything up tightly. It made for a much easier, cleaner eat -- no toppings tumbling out with every bite! My first bite was amazing. The fresh flavors really shined, the falafels were perfectly crispy, and the eggplant had that deep, savory roasted flavor. Every topping complemented the others beautifully, and I walked away completely satisfied. I am so happy I found this fast and healthy option close by! I also grabbed a baklava and a mango sparkling probiotic drink -- both delicious. Beyond the food, they have soft drinks, tea, and lemonade, plus a sauce bar with vinegar and oil if you want to customize your meal even further. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I can't wait to come back and try their other menu options!

This was my first visit and my first time trying them, and I was impressed by how many options they offer. The customization is extensive without feeling overwhelming, and everything looked fresh and well maintained. I went with the falafel bowl, built over rice and lettuce, and one standout detail was that they offered three different rice options. I chose the lentil rice, which had excellent flavor and added a nice depth to the bowl. All of the toppings, condiments, and add-ons tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The falafel itself was satisfying, and the overall meal felt balanced--filling without being heavy. It gave that ideal healthy, energized feeling rather than leaving me sluggish afterward. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself was very clean, which always matters in a fast-casual setting, and the service stood out. The staff was welcoming, and the manager came by our table several times to check in and make sure everything was going well, which added a personal touch that you don't always get in this style of restaurant. Overall, a very solid first experience. Fresh food, strong service, clean environment, and plenty of options. I'd definitely return and would recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for Mediterranean done in a casual, customizable format.

There is ample parking and seating, though I can imagine this place gets quite busy with the workday lunch crowd. The restaurant was very clean, inviting and casual. Staff greeted us when we entered and helped explain how their menu. It is very similar to the other "fill a bowl" concept, casual restaurants, but in this case Mediterranean delights await you. There are several different types of proteins, and as a pesco-vegetarian, I was pleased to see tofu as an option. There's falafel too! (The tofu was well seasoned and not bland little cubes of food.) You can do a bed of greens, pita, hummus, or rice as your base. I went with the rice which was deliciously seasoned, though (spoiler alert!) next time I might go with hummus. There are many fresh herbs options for toppings, including spices and sauces. All the vegetables were crispy, and the portions were generous. The price point is fair and what you would expect to see at similar restaurants. I wish Olive U were closer to my home, because it's a great fresh option if you're looking for a quick take-home meal as well. I did see that they offer family-style dinners where you get a large portion and everybody eats the same thing. I think that is a great idea and not something I've seen at the other bowl - style restaurants. As I've already spoiled above (hee her , I definitely plan a return visit one day. Or they could just build locations in Broward! Hint hint.

I visited on April 10, 2026, and from the moment I walked in, the entire team created an atmosphere that felt organized, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm. Erick, the manager on duty, stood out immediately. He was clearly making sure everything and everyone was running the way it should, and he did it while juggling more than one responsibility at once. That kind of leadership is easy to notice when a place is busy. He brought steadiness to the whole environment, and it showed in how smoothly the team worked together. Gabe was the first person who greeted me when I walked in, and he set the tone right away. He began my order with professionalism and ease, and within seconds of me choosing the chicken shawarma, he was already thoughtfully suggesting a protein upgrade. It was a small moment, but it showed confidence, product knowledge, and real customer awareness. He made the beginning of the experience feel smooth and engaging. Kolby also deserves real recognition. She was standing behind Gabe and grilled my chicken shawarma while keeping her composure in the face of two difficult and frankly annoying customers who were ahead of me. That alone said a lot. She seemed newer, at least from my perspective, but she looked fully up to the task. She carried herself with calm, patience, and quiet competence, which is not always easy to do when customers are testing the atmosphere for everybody else. Jawad stepped in seamlessly and continued my order once Gabe had to hand things off to take care of other arriving guests. He handled my vegetables and kept everything moving without missing a beat. That kind of teamwork makes a big difference because it keeps the guest experience from feeling disjointed. It all felt coordinated, efficient, and natural. Natalie completed the experience beautifully. She was the friendly, gentle cashier who checked me out with a genuinely heartwarming smile. She answered my questions, made me feel comfortable, asked whether I wanted some baklava, and sold me on how good it was. She was absolutely right, because I ended up leaving with one. At that point, resistance was pointless. She closed out the whole interaction with warmth and charm, and that matters. As for the food, I ordered a base of lentils and rice with chicken shawarma, topped with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and olives, along with house sauce. It was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what I was hoping for. Everything came together really well. What made this visit special was the complete cycle of service. Each person contributed something distinct, and together they created an experience that felt personal, thoughtful, and memorable. OliveU should be proud of this team. They made an ordinary food stop feel genuinely special, and that is not something every restaurant can pull off.

Not wanting to wait, we walked a few dozen steps to a place I had noted before, Quaca Go, re-tuning my culinary expectations from French Toast to burrito. There was no table service, but that wasn't a problem. I'm a bit uncomfortable about being served, probably legacy of my radical upbringing which is currently being eroded by dining at Abe & Louie's. It also provided an opportunity to see the food and its preparation à la Chipotle. Here, this presentation was a great idea. The food looked as fresh and delicious as it proved to be. While they do have a great idea, I may have visited on a semi off day. The avocados were overripe and covered with dark bruises, which was kind of a bummer because I pick better avocados at the store. The menu for ordering was also a little confusing and the staff members weren't too willing to help or offer suggestions. They also got my two bowls confused in the end, which resulted in my husband's jalapeño filled bowl topped with my chicken, and my sweet pineapple bowl topped with his shrimp. I'm not usually picky, but having worked in food service for many years I expect a little more from a jazzy restaurant like this! I left feeling like I probably should have just made burrito bowls at home.
