Arrived at around 615 and they had few slices left but i could add toppings. Being my first time i wanted to try the plain slice and garlic knots. Order of 6 garlic knots, slice and soda was 10.64 which is a great deal. Starting with garlic knots, they are huge and not afriad to use garlic on top. Great flavor and exactly what you want in a garlic knot. The slice as well is big, has a nice undercarriage but could have been cooked a little longer for my personal liking, the sauce to cheese ratio is spot on. Not overly greesy just enough to give u that new york slice feel. Nice fold as well. The service was very nice greeted as i came in and food brought to my table. Lunch special absolutely hits every time. Two huge slices and a soda for the price is hard to beat. Pizza was hot, crispy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor. Staff was awesome and the spot has a great vibe. Definitely one of my go-to lunch spots now. read more

They make their own meatballs and the flavor was spot on and I really enjoyed their sauce and melted cheese. I've been jonesing for a meatball sandwich for a while and this place is across the street from my aldi's so looking up a place who does a Good Meatball Parmigiano they had solid reviews and I was happy I stopped by fast and friendly service and great tasting. Drove by this place several times before stopping. Restaurant looks big from outside but its mostly kitchen. I was greeted by a nice young lady who was kind, courteous and helpful. Ordered the two slice lunch special and sat down. A few minutes later the pizza was delivered to my table. Slices were larger than expected and perfectly cooked. I will definitely return. My only two issues would be the size of dining room and would love to have fountain drinks instead of cans. read more

Being from NJ, I will admit that I am a bit of a pizza snob. I'm weary of trying pizza in certain places. Once someone tried to give me a "slice" in a bakery which consisted of break, a little sauce, and a single layer of American cheese. Danny's is the best slice I've enjoyed outside of the Tri-State area, and the size of the slice was approaching the Sawmill in Seaside. Literally the worst pizza spot ever. There's ALWAYS an issue with the food being over / undercooked, bad service... it's the worst.

It looked really good and when I saw them tossing the dough, I thought we were going to experience authentic pizza from the Bronx, which I've never had being a Brooklyn girl who's had some of the best! Sadly it looked better than it tasted...it doesn't rank within my top 5 pizza joints. Sauce was a bit too sweet with a pinch too much oregano, and the dough/crust was crisp but too thin ... overall the pie lacked flavor. I had to salt (which I never do with pepperoni), garlic and red pepper heavier than usual ... but I do commend them for a perfectly topped pie though!! read more

This is our favorite place to eat pizza and they strike out again. Last time was the toast website they use. This time they are not answering the phone just after 9pm and it says they close at 10pm. Had some delivery to the hotel room to watch the Dolphins beat the Giants. The pizza was really good, but it did not stand up to all the veggies we had ordered. So, the solution next time would be maximum one topping. It was tough to fold with the veggie onslaught. We also tried the $9 95 lunch special, which is available 7 days a week, and we were impressed by the chicken parm and spaghetti special.
