Marco's makes wonderfully delicious pizza. We had the meat supreme pizza and the Greek salad. The pizza was piping hot and the Parmesan crust was delicious!! I had never had Marco's pizza before because I live on the West Coast and there are not any around where I live and I have to say, it is absolutely awesome pizza. Their sauce has so much flavor and all the ingredients tasted very fresh. Their seasoning on their dough is also great. The staff was very friendly and they greeted me with a smile when I went to pick up my order. If you are not a pizza fan, their sandwiches are great too. Our family was in the area for my husband's work and we stopped by to try out Marco's. We were hungry for pizza. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff upon ordering and at pick up. We ordered a large pizza, a family garden salad and an order of cheesy bread. Our wait was 15 minutes. We were offered plates, forks, etc. which was great because we decided to eat back at our hotel room. And the food was delicious! The salad was very fresh with green peppers, black olives, onions, cheese and croutons! We were very pleased and hope to return! They do not have the brightest delivery people who can't ever find your address and also have phones that they can't hear you on phone. a big FAIL when you want some pizza delivered quick and the delivery guy is on the phone with you for 25 minutes and still cannot find your address. read more

Got the cheese steak, cheesy bread, and turkey club. The cheesy bread was all bread and the cheese steak had canned mushrooms and uncooked onion. Fast delivery. They have always gotten our order right. No complaints! I didn't care for the cinnamon bread dessert, but there was plenty to go around. I like traditional pepperoni vs the old world. Sauce is good, just enough cheese. One request would be for gluten-free dough. read more

Picked up a quick pizza from Marco's on a Friday evening after work, at the recommendation of my hair stylist. The sky was clouding up so I knew I had to rush to beat the storm. I ordered a small meat supremo and added all three options on the crust at the recommendation of the person taking my order. I think it was garlic butter, parmesan, and romano. The pizza was ready in about 10 minutes and it was AMAZING. The crust was light and buttery but not greasy at all. In fact, I heated a slice up the next morning and there was no greasy trace which makes my heart smile! The pizza was topped with tons of tasty meat and then layered with extra cheese. Best pizza I've had in a while. It's a small walk-in place with maybe 2 tables so it's definitely a grab and go kind of place. I'll definitely be back for more! read more

Ordered online for a 6:30PM delivery - called at 6:50PM about the pizza because nothing had been delivered and was told that a driver was just coming who would pick up the pizza and deliver it. Was told the pizza had been made - great, so it has been sitting now for almost 30 minutes around your store before I receive it and i am supposed to be happy about this? Really - how about timely delivery of a fresh product, not something that if you ever worked in a pizza place, the staff gets to take home because it is too old to serve to customers. Anyway, while I am still waiting on my pizza - by now it is 7PM, lesson 1: never order online for delivery - this place is probably employing coordinators who can handle small town NC orders, but not weeknight Durham order volume. I had sampled their free pizza during the grand opening and the quality was good - this was the reason we decided to order the pizza from here. They do give you a numb er of choices when customizing your pizza - half pies for toppings and sauce etc So that is a nice feature, but again, nothing against a more limited option menu as long as you know you get fresh pizza. By now, 7:15PM - still waiting on the pizza. Funny thing, the place is 5 minutes from the house, but I figured, fine- we will get delivery Snails would be faster than this delivery and they actually charge for this delivery! I started off with three stars, by now they are down to one star. Soon, we are entering negative territory.Now I am reading the actual two reviews and the one review that ordered delivery seems to have been stuck with undercooked pizza - well this pizza with sitting under the heatlamp for 30 minutes + better be burned to a crisp by now or their heatlamp ain't any more powerful than the horse- drawn carriage that is now inching its way to the house to deliver pizza. I see this tenant ending its tenancy in the shopping center soon. Must be the location, the Rit'as did not stick around for a long time either. And I do help that yelp does not have max character numbers because I am running out of things to do, while waiting for the pie to arrive. By the time we are finally eating this pizza, the kids will be beyond the tantrum, dad will be on the second beer and snoring and I will have finally finished the novel I always dreamed about writing - only I had no clue that my novel would be published online and at yelp. So Pizza arrive around 7:20PM - Yipeeh! They do deliver - but the pizza was lukewarm, we nuked it to make it warm. The flavor was good, but definitely not the fresh delivery pizza that I am used from bargain basement places like Dominos. The service was pretty good. It's just the food itself that was subpar. The cheese bread is pretty much all bread and no cheese and the double chocolate brownie is a misnomer. it's not very chocolatey and, as a chocoholic, I would know. if anything, they should call it the half-chocolate brownie. read more
