The manager Joe is the sweetest human! We stopped in around 9pm to grab some food before heading back to the hospital to visit our loved one. He immediately took care of us and when we mentioned heading back to the hospital he kindly offered to prepare a pizza and dessert for the nurses. We had the best experience! read more

Ordered online for carry out. My order was ready fast! Faster than pretty much anywhere else I've ordered from in the area. Wings: I got "Buffalo" with ranch dip. I wouldn't call this traditional Buffalo style sauce. It's more of a bbq with a Buffalo kick. It wasn't bad, just wasn't what I was expecting. Pizza: pretty good! Good sauce to cheese ratio, with a herb style sauce. The crust was surprisingly good. Generous amount of pepperoni too. Pickup experience was okay. The guy at the counter was very curt, not rude just seemed like he wanted me out quickly. I just had 2 horrible experiences at the Marcos on 805 Glynn St S Fayetteville GA.  This is how it all happened. (Mind you I'm a licensed Pentecostal minister and have never had a problem getting along with people. I love people.) So I was attempting to use my debit card to pay for my food. The debit card reader said "tap or insert card". I tried to use the tap feature 3 times. And one of the African-American cashiers said "You have to insert it!". I responded very nicely and said "The machine said tap or insert so I chose to tap it" (while I inserted my card). As I insert my card, the young African-American cashier just walked away and started "negatively shaking her head and rolling her neck". I asked, what's that about? So the manager had to take over the transaction. As the manager was finishing the transaction. I did say, "What was all that about? That was so ghetto." Because the cashier had just walked away "mid-transaction". The short muscle-bound owner says to me "All that ain't called for." I said, "What? How she's acting?" (referring to the African-American cashier who just walked away mid-transaction". And he responds and says "No, how YOU acting and what you just said!" I responded and said "I'm a grown man and I can say whatever I want." The owner then responds yelling and with threatening body language and screams "I'M A GROWN MAN AND I CAN SAY WHATEVER I WANT TOO N-Word!" as he paces back and forth as if he's expecting me to "go there" with him.  I had my 9 year old son with me.  Therefore I was never a threat to him.  Furthermore, my son has never heard profane language around me or from me. Moreover, it's a shame that my son has to hear someone of middle eastern descent call me a "N-word" in a public setting. This is despicable behavior. To add insult to injury, I called back into the store from my cell phone less than 5 minutes after I left and asked to speak to a manager. The female manager answered and said "Speaking". I said to her Ma'am you just allowed one of your employees to call me a nigger and you said nothing to him to correct him.  She said, "That wasn't an employee, that was the owner! Don't you ever bring your fn a$$ to this store again!" I told her I'm going to sue them. read more

Ok, I have read other reviews about this location, and I know that people will go out of their way to leave negative feedback, but are reluctant to leave positive comments. Yes, every time I have been here there was young employees, and I applaud them for hiring younger people. I've only encountered one minor error, and was immediately corrected. That being said, the pizza is outstanding. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, and their cheese blend is incredible. I suggest ordering online and pick it up in the store. If I could rate this a zero I would, and not for the pizza but the customers service was the absolute worst. My son loves Marcos Pizza and I think it's pretty good too. However, today I called in advance to place my order. When I called I asked the young lady on the phone could I pay over the phone, pull up to the curb and meet her at the door as my 4 year old had just come from his swimming lesson, his hair was wet and it was raining and cold. She said, "yes," and took my payment. When I arrived, a young man answered the phone and was extremely RUDE! I told him about my conversation and he said, "to bad you have to come in." I said, "I'm standing right at the door, you can't just come right to the door?" His response was. "Can't you walk inside, I'm doing my job and no!" I then spoke to the young lady I placed my order with and she basically told me I didn't ask to be met at the door. I told her, I would have ordered delivery as that was whole purpose of me asking before ordering. She said. "Whatever, you have to come in," and hung up. I also asked to speak to the manager prior to her hanging up and she stated she was the manger, however as I was getting my son out of the car the real manager was walking in and bringing my pizza to the door. I told him, this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced and kids should not be alone to run the business. At the point, the young man came around the counter and said, "kid, I ain't no f***ing kid," (he couldn't have been older than 21) in front of my 4 year old son. I just shook my head and told the manager, "well, the young man just further proved my point, that the customer service here is horrific." The last time I went to this location and went in to order the young lady who was making the pizza, was also taking money, and while the credit card was processing, picked up her phone and began texting all while wearing the same gloves. She then went back to the pizzas and continued to cook. It was the same young last who took my order and is the, "manager," of the store. I cancelled my order and left. Today was my slast straw. I will NEVER step foot in this location again. There needs to be real adult supervision over the employees. I've lived in Fayetteville for over 20 years and have never experienced anything like today in my life. If you can avoid this place, please do so....or just get it delivered. read more

Because of Covid, we all need for our stuff to either be delivered or we go in and pick it up. The owner of the store knows this, is very very very aware! So, why do you only have one delivery driver!? Why do your customers have to wait over an hour for a pizza to be delivered? Because management and the owner have not hired enough drivers!!!! This is almost an hour past the time it was supposed to be delivered. I called the store and gave the "manager" an opportunity to rectify the situation. She gave me a bunch of excuses and then offered me $5. If this is how you treat your customers then that's the last money I will ever spend in your store and everyone I know will hear this story. If I could not even rate this place a 1 I would.It's been about 6mo since my last review, so tonight I went online and once again at the checkout was told that my home which is 3.4miles away from the restaurant according to the marcos.com website was out of the delivery area. They gave me the number to call the store and I did and this is where things became worse. When the first lady answered the phone I explained to her the online ordering issue and said that I was placing the order for carryout since I still wasn't in the delivery area. She hands the phone to another person(2nd lady) and I hear the 1st one in the background annoyingly say, "she has called here ever since I started working here and she isn't in our delivery area" Now I'm not sure who she has spoken to,but I've only spoken to guys so I definitely wanted to speak my mind, but I withheld and went on to speak to the 2nd lady who honestly tried to help me. I told her that I wanted to use a code I saw online and she said that her computer wasn't acknowledging it and I asked her if it was an online only offer then since I was looking at the order I had tried to place online and it had taken it. She asked me to hold on then asked a guy in the background who I could also hear, and he said he wasn't aware of the deal and that it was something else etc etc. The 2nd lady then gets back on the phone repeating what he said and I told her that what she was saying was not the deal I wanted and then she said she would try again then asked me to hold on. The guy again starts saying in an agitated tone, "she is not going to get a cheaper price, with tax it's not going to be that price etc" At this point I'm upset since I have had very few occasions where I've encountered such ugly people. The fact that I was being treated as if I was being unreasonable or ignorant is beyond me. I am completely disgusted by tonight's encounter and if I were a rude or irate person maybe I could understand the way I was being treated. Hopefully the owner records calls for customer service so that this encounter can be verified. I suggest that the workers learn how to use the mute/hold button and that the owner provide better training for his staff. read more

This place is fairly new. I'm not quite sure how long they've been open but hopefully they'll get the kinks worked out soon. I ordered online 4 an evening pickup & when my confirmation printed it didn't read like I felt it should so I called, spoke w/Dewayne & he changed my order, however when I arrived 4 pickup I still had 2 wait AND my order was wrong. The young guy who was working the front counter obviously didn't care b/c he did nothing 2 satisfy the customer(me). I ended up asking 4 the manager & he gav me a credit 4 my nxt visit I'll definitely go bak. The pizza was good but my 6 in veggie sandwich was very bland. It needed sum sauce on it. Great pizza! Love the Fresco Chicken! It is amazing! I've had it with the garlic crust and regular, and both are awesome! No matter what kind of pizza the group wants it is always followed by "and add a chicken fresco". Hawaiian pizza is a very close second! Love this place! The coupon I had wasn't honored even though the girl that took my order stated it would be. The store doesn't close until 10:00pm. However I arrived at 9:30 and all lights were off including the open sign. One of my pizzas had no cheese on it. The "manager" was so rude, I guess I was interrupting closing the store. I asked who the franchise was owned by and he said that was private information and he was the only manager!! If that's true this kid must have a full plate going to middle school and running this pizza place. That is probably why he had to close early.. it is past his bed time! Awful! The staff here has really improved a lot. I came here in 2017 and the staff was rude and pizza were cold, but I gave them another shot a while back and now they're my go to. Finally good pizza has come to Fayetteville. We've ordered from Marco's several times now and have not been disappointed. We've had several specialty pizzas and some more standard pizzas. The dough is much more NY style than typical here. The sauce is rich and nicely seasoned. The toppings seem fresh and are very generous. Definitely go with the Old World Pepperoni- it is amazing! Order online- there are amazing deals there and it is wicked convenient, plus they have order tracking. Regarding prices- yes, the base prices are moderate to high. They do charge for every extra thing so you should not be surprised if you order extras and your food costs more. They do show you the pizza when you pick it up so you know exactly what you are getting and if they messed up anything (they haven't yet). The people working there are super friendly and energetic. I love this place. I would give it a 5 but I have yet to find a 5 star pizza place in Georgia. read more

I ordered a delivery, at 9pm from work, at 11 I called to see what was up and he laughed and said oh we canceled your order. I asked why he said well we don't take delivery orders after 9:30. But I call at 9:00. He laughed again and said well we were running behind and it was going to be to late to bring we close at 11. The food itself is usually good. Sometimes it's too greasy, but it's fine. However, of the five or six times we've ordered from them, they've gotten the order right a grand total of ONCE. They almost always forget the extra sauce we order, or put something on the pizza we did not want, or leave stuff off of it. On top of that, their estimated time of delivery is NEVER right. They're always a good 10-15 minutes late. It is the most aggravating thing. read more

Let me start of by saying, I loved the Marcos in Newnan. They had proper customer service and followed an order. Not the one in Fayetteville though! This is the last time I will be ordering from there. First off, the "promised" time was 6:40. We didn't get our pizza until about 7:10. It was warm but not hot and the box had grease seeping through it. The 2 things of Garlic Sauce I ordered were forgotten (again I might add... this makes it the 3rd time they didn't give me the sauce I ordered and I have told them before). It came free with the pizza but still, I ORDERED it. I am giving leeway since it was a Saturday I ordered and I figured it would be busy, but I've ordered on a Saturday before and gotten it BEFORE the "promised" time. The past couple of times, they've been anywhere from 10-20 minutes past what they advertise. I called asking about how much longer it was going to be and the girl who answered the phone was a little curt with her response. I understand they sometimes take multiple orders but I live a few miles from the store and I can't drive at the moment. I would've done take-out if I knew it was going to be this bad. I ordered double sauce. There was so little sauce on either of the pizzas I ordered that you could barely see it. I've ordered extra sauce before from there and it would ooze of the pizza when you bit into it. I also ordered my pizza without the Romano Seasoning and it was all over the crust. That seasoning gives me REALLY bad heart burn... hence why I did not order it. I ordered 2 pizza sauces with my breadsticks. One sauce was completely full and the other was about half full. Why such a difference? I don't know why but this Marco's seems like a joke to me. I guess I will stick with Dominoes even though I like Marco's pizza better. Dominoes has better customer service, they always arrive before they say they will, and they may sure to get the order RIGHT before they let the driver leave with it. I will take that any day over something late and wrong. read more

When I ordered our pizza, I advised the lady that we had not ordered from Marco's for 8 months because of past disappointments. This is your chance to win a customer back or seal the lost. We always have left overs, which are great for snacks. This is the first time I have ever thrown the left overs in the trash.
