Our adult son who lives with us prefers plain cheese pizzas from other pizza restaurants. He was away this weekend so my wife and I decided to order a "deluxe" pizza from Marco's. 30 minutes after ordering online, our pizza arrived. But...it was a plain cheese pizza. I called Marcos and the young lady was apologetic and helpful. She said she would have a "deluxe pizza" sent to us. 90 minutes later and still no "Deluxe Pizza". I called again, and the young man who answered was personable, and said his manager was on his way with our pizza. 30 minutes later it was here! Both pizzas were delicious. The pizza boxes had no labels to distinguish customers names or order numbers, hence the original order mix up. read more

Will never go here again. As someone else stated, they are all on drugs. Ordered online and sent my daughter to pick it up. They harassed her and refused to give her the order . What she brought back was a joke. I can't believe this place is allowed to operate this way. Tried to calm them and they hung up on me 5 times and refused to answer my complaints or calls. read more

Love Marcos! My only complaint is sometimes they forget the garlic parm crust lol. Other than that the food is amazing. Some of the staff is extra kind, some are just so so but they aren't like rude or anything at all. Ambiance is always a quiet vibe. read more

This location has steadily declined over the years. Customer service is awful, and today, I saw an employee handle cash, then go into the kitchen to assist with food, without washing their hands. There's also a vacuum cleaner sitting in the open area. I will not be back here. read more

I don't think they cook your online order until you show up. I ordered on the app, app said pizza would be ready at 6:15. Showed up at 615. Girl at the front said it's not ready. So I take a seat with 4 other people who are also waiting for orders that should have been ready. Marco's what happened to your salads? There has been no improvement since my last review. Green on the top and brown/reddish soggy lettuce on the bottom. Very disappointing.... ***0 STARS*** Sunday 5/29/22 the worst experience I have had at a Marcos. Slow, inattentive, 1 person making pizzas while 2-3 others stand around manager shaking her head at the kid at the register. Asked the kid at the register about my order (the one with Spinach) and he started asking her about something with Spanish on it. She said "what the F are you talking about. Didn't know how to look up an order by name (placed online). Pizza was supposed to be ready at 6:40 and here I sit at 6:50 and the order hasn't even been started yet. This really good pizza. The veges are fresh and the crust is delicious. The crust is similar to a pan crust but without the greasiness. Peppers and onions are crisp and fresh. They have an old world pepperoni that is not so spicy if you prefer. It's our favorite in Charlotte and Fort Mill area. read more

IF YOUR SANE, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I was told my order would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later and was told my pizza would be ready soon. Although my order wasn't ready, I paid for my order when I arrived and patiently waited an additional 45 minutes before my order was presented. While waiting I witnessed at least a dozen customers communicating with the cashier, inquiring about their order (she was African American with blond braids seen in attached pics). The kitchen was notably behind and the receptionist was young, inexperienced, yet calm and reassuring to each and every customer that had an inquiry. I placed a tip in the cashier's tip jar and openly expressed "You're doing a great job". I personally own 2 subway shops. "Customer interaction and Positive company culture" is how my team and I thrive. Before leaving I checked my order and noticed the "cheese bread'' I ordered had a cup of marinara sauce enclosed and that cup was nearly empty (pictures attached). I simply asked for more marinara sauce... After waiting 1hour and 10 minutes, I would have expected a manager with great leadership skills to express how slammed the kitchen was at the time, maybe thank us for our patience, and possibly ask if customers with extended wait times would like something to drink while we wait. AFTER WAITING A LENGTHY AMOUNT OF TIME FOR MY ORDER I DEFINITELY DIDN'T EXPECT TO BE TOLD TO TAKE WHAT I HAVE AND LEAVE". Instead I overheard the young man wearing a black mask and red shirt (picture attached) state: "WE ARE BUSY, TELL THEM TO GET OUT OF HERE, WE DON'T HAVE ANYMORE MARINARA SAUCE!" I was Shocked by his resolution, especially while standing side by side with the manager of this location. I couldn't believe an employee would speak in such a manner, in which customers could clearly hear what he was openly saying. His statement prompted me to ask for a refund because I personally didn't see myself eating cheese bread without Marinara sauce. After being denied a refund for the beard sticks, I admit slipped into disappointed customer mode and gave Brien (manager) and the employee I overheard negatively speaking a piece of my mind. Brien (seen with no mask on attached) called the cops, I eagerly waited for the cops to arrive. Brien (manager) and his belligerent attitude managed to irritate the police that arrived. Although this is by far the worst experience I've ever encountered, I learned something. "The way people feel about the work they do, the values they believe in and where they see themselves and the company going will always manifest". Moral of the story -  As a professional I should have never openly vocalized my views, I should have just written a review! As this location should have just granted me a refund. This location is significantly under-managed. Brien (manager) should be fired or retrained. It's sad because writing this review is such a waste of my time, but it's needed and Brien clearly doesn't own this location, so he could care less how customers perceive Marcos. When a manager further complicates a situation, instead of positive solution solving, the entire staff becomes misled. I would never order from Marco's again and if you're reading this post you shouldn't! SUPPORT FRANCHISES THAT CARE AND LOCAL RUN BUSINESS THAT APPRECIATE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THE BUSINESS. read more

I'm not sure if that could be recognized as a genuine Italian way as they claimed but the thin pizza is not bad.

If you want your pizza on time, beware. The last two times I scheduled a pizza to be ready for pickup, I arrived at that time scheduled and had to wait at least 20 minutes. My pizza tonight was just delivered. It's 7:00, we ordered at 4:30. They lost our order, we placed it again, then they took over an hour to get it delivered. Last time for us for Marco's. Hopefully they get their act together soon. read more

I went in to the pizzeria to order pizza & almost walked back out without ordering. I don't think the cleanliness is great especially during a pandemic. Two young men were having a conversation when I came in but stopped to take my order. One of the men went to make the pizza & did put gloves on but didn't wash his hands it was just a creepy feeling. While the food is good the delivery takes forever. Ordered a pizza at 11:30 am, said 35-40 minutes for delivery. It actually was still not delivered at 1:10 pm. Called and was told we were next delivery. When the order was delivered 20 minutes later there was no pizza, only 2 salads, we ordered 1 and a large pizza. The order was placed online so we know it was ordered correctly. This order took 3 calls and ended up with us getting a refund and no pizza. Never again. read more

I been ordering Marcos for a while because it's soo good. I tried alot of the foods they offer, and loved it. However, this time around I ordered the usual pie, and it is completely unetable. Honestly the worst experience. Ordered my pizza over the phone....was told it would be ready in 15 mins(I live within walking distance and I made my order at 6:30pm). Get there just before 7pm and waited in store for almost 40mins for my pizza, on top of that was told I could not get a refund just a $10instore credit. Wow just awful. read more

Horrible! Pizza is OK and delivery is quick, but do NOT order the sub or wings!! The wings (first and only time I ordered them) were the tiniest wings I had ever seen in my life! I was so blown away by the size I even measured them...less than 2 inches in length for the LONGEST one in the bunch! The last time I ordered, I ordered the Italian sub and it was so thin, I could not even tell it had meat on it!! Lettuce, what there was of it was "rusty" looking and soggy, overall just HORRIBLE! Good pizza but terrible service. I have ordered for delivery twice, which, by the way you pay for, and the first time it was 1/2 hour late and last night it was 45 minutes late, and I had guests. Their online order system didn't work for me as it doesn't recognize my address even though our community has been completed for over 2 1/2 years. I had to call in my order and though I did this 6 hours in advance, when I called them back 15 minutes after it was due, it was obvious they had not even started my order.
