So this was my first time trying Marcos Pizza. It would be good to know that I am not much of a fan of pizza at all. I occasionally enjoy it, only white sauce pizza though. I was nervous at first to order since I have never tried Marcos before, and what I got was: Small Pizza, White Sauce, Garlic Sauce Crust, Spinach and Chicken for toppings, as well as breadsticks. I was pleased when it arrived, it looked very good and the smell was great. Breadsticks have always been my favorite part and these were delicious-- though I did get them without the Roma Seasoning. Splendid. The pizza itself had a good amount of crust, not too thin or thick! The sauce and cheese ratio, in my opinion was the best I have seen. Not too much sauce, and not an overwhelming amount of cheese! The spinach and chicken were good, though there was quite a bit of spinach on my pizza considering I didn't get any extra. That's okay though. The only reason I haven't given it 4 stars is because it is very greasy. The pizza and breadsticks I received were dripping and glazed with an ample amount of grease. I ended up eating a total 2 pieces of pizza and 2 breadsticks. I am a little bit disappointed because the taste of Marcos Pizza is wonderful, but it is insanely greasy-- at least mine was. I did later on in the night wake up, and had a trip to the restroom. Unfortunately, it had upset my stomach so badly. If grease does not bother your stomach, or you have a salad or greens set aside to eat with it, then go ahead, the pizza tastes wonderful, however, I did not and only ate 2 pieces, which seemed to make me sick. read more

Excellent service!! We were traveling and staying in a nearby hotel. We needed a night in so ordered pizza delivery. Phone operator was friendly and helpful, and the pizza arrived quicker than promised. The order was correct, and it was hot, fresh and delicious. I am from New Haven, CT the birthplace of the American Pizza. We are total pizza snobs in Northeast. When we moved from CT to Franklin I told my kids, "We will never eat a pizza again" as no self-respecting New Englander would eat at Domino's, Pappa John's, Pizza Hut, or (gasp) Little Caeser's. Then along came Marco's. Their specialty old world pepperoni with parmesan-garlic butter-seasoned crust is to die for. Their sausage is delicious, no fillers. Their 3-cheese blend is outstanding. Real New York pizzeria style pizza for chain prices. I get the kids the cinnamon bread for dessert. They attack it like a savage pack of wolves. My daughter likes it so much she took a summer job their. Stuart the owner is a great guy and lives in the community. Spend the extra 2 bucks to get a quality product. It's worth it. read more

Okay people, let's not get carried away with the five star reviews here. Let's call this pizza what it is rather than what it's not. The pizza here is passable and somewhat tasty but is really just a take out/delivery brother to Dominos, The Hut, Sams Club, Jets, Papa Johns, Hunt Bros.... Assembled with ingredients delivered from franchise HQ, this is just usual run of the mill pizza. What it is not is Artisinal, gourmet, New York Style, thin crust, deep dish... Good in a pinch but, if you desire some pizza made by hand with true heart and soul, this is not the place.. read more

Finally...really great pizza comes to Franklin / Cool Springs! I was excited when I heard Marco's was moving in, and our first pizza was amazing! We had a thin and crispy loaded with toppings. The crust was perfect...which you don't see often. It had a healthy amount of fresh toppings, and the sauce was great too. Very good pizza all around! We also got an order of cheesebread and a baked sweet dessert thing too...both impressive. They have a classic crust and a thick pan version as well...and they have baked subs. Others have commented on the sausage. It DID taste like sausage I remember as a kid and there was plenty of it. Compared to Domino's and Papa John... It just totally out classed them. used both times we had a party at Let it Shine. Their food is good! their service, well lets just say order delivery the day before and build in a time buffer to make sure your pizza arrives on time. 1st time ordered, day of party, they were 45minutes late, 2nd time ordered, I gave myself a buffer of 30min. They were delayed 15min, by traffic lights going out and its Christmas season. So all in all quality of food 4 On time delivery 2. Maybe 3rd time will be a charm. Marcos pizza never disappoints! It's so full of flavor, the toppings are all fresh, & fast, friendly service. I've been getting the hand-tossed Pepperoni Magnifico with extra cheese, extra mushrooms, & banana peppers and it's the most delicious pizza around. Of course it's not good for my diet. Haha But it's good for making me happy & definitely hitting the spot when you're hungry:) Yum! So if you're in the mood for pizza, you can't go wrong with Marcos. Their cheese bread is amazing too. Just make sure that you ask for extra sauce on the side of you like a decent amount of pizza sauce for dipping like I do. I'd gotten 2 cups of it but they were small so I probably could have used 1-2 more. I will definitely be coming back & I'll continue to recommend Marcos to everyone:) read more

I do love pizza on a rainy day. And tonight we had Marco's during the torrential downpour. We had an extra large 2 topping pizza with bacon and pepperoni and an order of cheese bread. Both arrived via delivery hot and fresh. Took a few minutes over quote time but the weather is nasty so I wouldn't hold that against them. We used the online ordering system. It was very user friendly and only took a couple of minutes. On previous occasions when I've phoned in a delivery, I have always liked how friendly they are wheb you call. Marco's is great. I generally enjoy Marcos pizza, however my experience at this particular store was completely immature. Last Friday I was sitting waiting for my pizza when two very disturbing things happened. A group of teenagers were trying to enjoy their weekend by eating some pizza with the best condiment... ranch. However one of the employees, an older gentleman with long gray hair took the ranch out of the young boys hands in an aggressive manner. I thought this was was extremely disturbing for a family pizza place but the really messed up part is that when the young, underaged boy came back in the employee threatened to "beat his ass" which is completely inappropriate for any employee to say to a costumer. I am extremely dissatisfied at the attitude of the employees towards young kids. This disgusted me and I will not be returning. read more

I used to strictly be a dominos guy until I tried the old world pepperoni at Marcos. The pepperoni magnifico is very good I highly recommend it. The cheezy bread is also a delicious treat. This is a great place and all, but I was honestly surprised with all of the 5 star reviews. That being said, this is a good chain and a great location. Pizza is pretty good-better than Dominos or Pizza Hut but not absolutely fabulous. The crust is probably of note, it is certainly likable and adds a nice touch. Is generally clean but little to no atmosphere. Service is fast unless you have a particularly large party and not rude or anything, and recently when we've been the manager has been out talking to customers. We ordered the New York pizza and a sub online for delivery and both arrived promptly. Below is a review of the pizza and sub we ordered. New York Style Pizza: B+ The crust supported the massive slices and reheated well the next day. Pretty delicious to be honest though I may ask for more sauce next time. Sub Sandwich: B+ The sub was toasted to perfection but unfortunately it was for a child who didn't want it toasted and didn't want mayo so I ended up eating it, which is fine but i am pretty sure i didn't select these options when I ordered online. Ok so I have to admit, the pizza is fantastic, but when it come to customer service they could use some work. 1.) half the time we order( and when I say order it's every Friday) we might get the bad ass service we expect and the other half we get ( uh we don't do history of orders) when in fact the other half there Jonny on the spot... 2.) every time we order we ask for sauce, ranch crushed red peppers and parmesan cheese.... it's hit or miss with getting our request. Dial in the special request and pay attention to what is on the order and your golden! I speak from experience in the industry customer satisfaction is key to success. I am a certified skeptic, so when I started receiving coupons for Marco's, I said to my wife: "Just what the world needs; another pizza place." But, also being a certified cheapskate, I kept the coupons. I thought the address looked familiar, so we went there last Saturday and confirmed that it is the same location as the previously occupied Garlic Jim's. We ordered a large "Original Classic" crust with mushrooms and (seasoned) ground beef. We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful taste, consistency, etc.: it's almost too good!!! Three pieces each, and we were full. I planned to have the remaining two pieces in the next day or two, but I couldn't resist, and finished them that night. Remarkably, the microwave heating didn't alter the texture of the crust, and the pizza tasted just as great as it had "out-of-the-box." We are planning to try the online ordering today or tomorrow, and also plan to purchase the "Meatball Bake," which sounds very good. Quick and pleasant service was appreciated. Biil C. The pizza is great. The problem is the service. Every time I place an order, they leave something off. In addition, their coupon service is misleading. They sent me 5.00 off as a token of appreciation, but it was nearly impossible to use. They had so many stipulations and made ordering very confusing. Nice online ordering system. Good pizza. We don't eat take out pizza too often but once a while we order pizza. I like their cheesy bread and ranch sauce! I live in a well-known 2 year old apartment community exactly 4.3 easily driven miles from the Franklin Marco's. When I saw their mixed reviews here on Yelp, I decided to give them a shot. The phone service wasn't very friendly, but hey, good help is hard to find. However, when I gave him my address, and I was told I was outside their delivery zone, I was kind of shocked. Franklin's not that big a town. They wouldn't deliver to a new customer 4.3 miles from their shop. They might have great pizza, but I wouldn't count on them being in business 6 months from now in Franklin. We're WAY too picky to put up with that kind of attitude. Good luck! read more
