Some of the best pizza around! Everything was fantastic from the wings and spinach dip to the pretzels and all the different pizzas we ordered. Toppings are plentiful, flavor is excellent and the crust is perfection. Staff was friendly and attentive and it's got a laid back vibe.

SUCH A BUMMER - I read all the reviews before coming so I wasn't so taken aback at how bad it could be, but I didn't expect it to be as bad as it was. SERVICE - our waiter was great! He was just rolling with the punches poor guy! However we did have a large party in the bus in the side section. WORST - one of us ordered a beer, and it took forever. I mean, forever. People were getting their drinks, then their appetizers, then a couple of our meals, all the while the pizzas took extra long and her beer kept NOT ARRIVING. Finally they said they were out of the beer and to choose another one. Thankfully they comped it because I think she finally got her replacement choice about 15 mins before we paid and left. FOOD - Unfortunately the pizzas that literally took probably 40 mins to get were not all the way cooked through. Since we ordered thin crust ours was better than our friends that was thicker and barely cooked. Such a huge bummer. My husband really likes this place but he said he won't be coming back. Very unfortunate. Please just make plans for a long wait. Longer than you want for sure. You want to eat at 7:30pm, show up and order at 6:00pm-jokes aside. Since we were a larger group, I think it turned off most of us from desiring to revisit.

Always a tasty choice! The gluten free crust is tasty too. This location can get busy so I'd recommend calling ahead if you have a schedule to follow. The Thai Dye pizza has to be our favorite option!

I enjoyed a recent visit for dinner here while enjoying Downtown Franklin. They don't take reservations, but was pleased to be seated right away once entering. We decided to try one of the specialty pizza's vs the traditional and both ordered a side salad. The food was great and will try another specialty pizza in the future as well. Service was good, little slow, but that was fine as we wanted to sit and talk.

This is a big place and could accommodate all 14 of us at lunchtime on a busy afternoon. Our drink orders got placed right away. Our orders were taken soon after drinks were served. The salads were served quickly. The pizzas followed right behind. However the sandwiches and burgers took a very long time to be served. In fact there was a mixup and some of us were only served half sandwiches! Definitely the most disappointing part of our visit. The decor inside the restaurant was pretty cute. It was a little on the noisy side so conversations had to be a little louder. The salads, pizzas, burgers & sandwiches all tasted good when we finally got it. Not sure why there was a delay and mixup for our orders, but the waitress apologized a few times and finally a manager was able to comp some of the items for a few in our party.

The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and the server was attentive. The restaurant has an eclectic/psychedelic pizzeria atmosphere. The spinach artichoke dip was pretty good. They let you do half and half on your pizza, which is great when you can't choose between two. The jerk chicken pizza was yummy, but the merry prankster was our favorite. The herb aioli drizzle is amazing! They offer thin crust and classic, and we went with classic, which has a great crust with perfect chew. Finally, you can't beat the location in downtown Franklin. If you're in the area, check this place out.

I'd say this is a solidly "good" pizza place. My wife and I stopped here at 4:30 or so on a weekday, and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and cordial. The pizza itself was good but dough features very prominently (as demonstrated in my pics). Even as someone who loves a good pizza crust, that's a bit of a turn-off to me and we both left quite a bit of crust on our plates. The flavor was good but nothing amazing preparation method, the cheese blend or sauce. The ambiance of this place is purposefully quirky/playful but it is fairly dark inside. Overall, I'd give this place a whirl if your in the mood for a slice of pizza but don't expect to be blown away.

There was once a pizza in this box.. the pizza was OBLITERATED !! It was delicious !! The service was excellent, my waitress was kind. The ambiance was casual. It definitely gives sports bar vibes.

Pizza is good with a crispy but soft inside crust. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Happy hour are Sunday to Thursday 11-6. The sauce on the chicken wings are really tasty with green onion and garlic Parmesan w mayo mixed. Ambience is great with many TVs to watch sports. Cute decor with mushrooms and posters of bands America loves like Queens first concert in the US ever was on April 16, 1974. The bathroom has a baby changing station.

The staff were patient and helpful as I asked questions and considered all my options. I had forgotten that they brew Nashville's own 8&R spresso!! Their 16oz drinks come with four shots - coffee lovers like me will appreciate the strength! Most of their syrups are Monin, I think maybe I saw 1 housemade. What really sets this place apart is the charming farmer's market-style vibe. Besides food, coffee and fresh-baked pastries, they offer their own delicious sourdough and focaccia loaves to go, and a very thoughtful selection of local items - like organic Amish eggs ($6/dozen - unreal price right now and I saw they reuse the cartons/place to return them - heartwarming), bone broths, small-batch sauces, and so much more. I loved spotting a whole shelf of Republic of Tea bags, sold individually so you can sample new flavors before committing to a full tin. You can tell everything is chosen with care both in quality and with a community focus. Franklin Bakehouse is one of those places that just makes you feel good the moment you walk in. It def helped to see and pet some pups too (I assume they are welcome as there were some inside when I arrived).

This is my review for the bakery:…read more I really wanted to support this small bakery, but my experience left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. When I first visited, the owner, Steve Bledsoe, asked where we were from. After I said California, he told an employee to give us the "California discount." When the total came out to $40 per pie, I was shocked and asked why the price was so high. I was given a long explanation about premium ingredients and homemade quality. Feeling awkward and wanting to support a family-owned business, I went ahead and bought four pies. The next day, when I came back to pick them up, I noticed on the register that another customer had been charged $25 per pie. That was a big red flag. To double-check, I later called the shop as a new customer and was told pies are $25. When I asked to speak with the owner, his answers were inconsistent and unconvincing. I'm extremely disappointed. especially in a local business that relies on community trust. I left feeling like I was charged more simply because the owner thought he could get away with it. I will not be returning, and I hope the business reconsiders how it handles pricing and customer interactions. On top of the dishonesty. The pies were not great. I could have supported Costco and bought larger pies that tasted just as good, if not, better.

He enjoyed it but thought it was too much bread. He prefers when they pull some of the bread out. It had debris and that's probably why he gave them a 4. We shared a side of red beans & rice. He thought the flavors were nice. I did not. It was like playing a game of find the beans. It was overly spicy and resembled a sausage soup. I've never had soupy red beans & rice (that barely had any beans) before so I wasn't a fan. Son got the alligator and fried green tomatoes. He really liked the sandwich. It looked like it had a nice amount of gator in it. The fried green tomatoes were overly spiced (come on not everything in Cajun food is a heat bomb - I'm from New Orleans so I know my Cajun food). Having said that - the tomatoes were done right. Not greasy and the crisp was good. Me - burger and this was where things went sideways and they lost a star. I have food allergies. I very carefully pick places where I can eat and make sure to stress what I cannot have. It's nothing crazy. Seafood, dairy, eggs.... so I chose the burger with no cheese. I don't like pickles or onions so asked those be removed as well. It comes out, no cheese. Yay! But it had so many pickles in it! I spent a good amount of time deconstructing it. Then there was the meat to bread ratio. 1/3 of the sandwich was just bread. I wasn't a fan of how they placed the burger on it. I thought it was a good idea to make a burger po'boy but the burger should have been placed differently or something. So between the "find the beans" soup and the mostly bread burger? I had to give them 3 stars. Ambiance - typical mall restaurant. Service - solid 4 star.
