This is the fourth or fifth time I've ordered from them and I gave them the benefit of the doubt given the shortage of employees during the pandemic. I cannot do that anymore! STAY AWAY! Poor customer service. No manager ever on duty, nothing but teenagers that can't make decisions without calling owner. Fourth trip there, every time a different issue. Went to pickup and myself and 3 other people were there to pick up pizzas that "weren't in their system". I had my cellphone showing the order and confirmation order. They got LJ (owner/manager) on the phone that said basically I could call yelp and cancel the order. No help, basically doesn't want my business. Pizza and breadsticks were really food and fresh. Placing the order over the phone was awkward,but the food tastes great. Awkward meaning the person who answered the phone seemed really confused and not knowledgeable about the product they sold. It reminded me of how delivery pizza used to be back in the day. Don't attempt to use the "track your order" from the email confirmation as my order showed picked up after I paid which was not even remotely accurate. We had pizza delivered from the Heath location once and when we called to get another delivery, the manager in the background said No to delivering to our location even though they had delivered previously and we are 4.3 miles away. The pizza was just ok but we were willing to give them a chance. Milano's is always happy to deliver here. We order pizza often for various occasions. I was going to order 6 pizzas later this week for a get together and Milano's is happy to do that too. Marco's Pizza has some work to do on customer relations and "building" their business. Ordered a pizza over the phone. They said it would take 16 minutes which was fine. Drove over to pick it up. Called the place and the girl said it would be right out. While we waited, we noticed a lot of employees inside but all were not doing anything except talking to each other without masks or masks on their chins. They did not put cheese on my pizza which I think may have been an app error as that was what the receipt said. They missed my garlic butter on the crust and my side dipping sauce. Marco's in Heath has to be the worst restaurant in town. When we arrived to pick up our order, app said it had been picked up already. Asked the unproffessional staff for assistance and was told very rudely to go back to my car and wait. Waited 20 minutes and then tried to call. No answer. Then attempted again to ask staff, but door was locked. Knocked to get someone's attention. Staff at cash register just looked up and ignore me. Finally, a staff member from the kitchen came to the door. He was very nice and offered assistance. He found my order sitting on the rack. This is a good place for Friday night dinner as a family. The cheese pizza was cheap, fresh, and very good quality for the price. Used the Marco's app to order a pizza a few weeks ago from the Heath location and everything went fine. Placed another order for pick up a few weeks later assuming it would order from the same store and my order got sent to the Rowlett store instead of Heath. I was told the owner owns both the Rowlett and Heath stores and had one of the workers went to check to see if they would place the order for me at the Heath store and not double charge me since I had already paid online with my credit card card. He told me no that I could drive to Rowlett and pick up my order or I could place the order at the Heath store and be charged again. I know I should have paid more attention when placing my order online and not assume anything but you would think since he owns both stores he would have made an exception just as a way of showing good customer service as this is one of the only restaurants in Heath and that would have went a long ways to show outstanding customer service.
