Dropped in without notice with a rather large group for their Music bingo night. Place was packed so we just assumed that with our large group we were going to be out of luck. Not the case. The general manager(Kristen) went out of her way to make sure that we were going to have a place to sits. She really went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable and taken care of. Her attitude and willingness to make sure we were happy is enough reason alone to to keep coming back. We ordered off of the happy hour menu for food which was a really good deal. Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, wings, onion rings, and Chicago dog were all delicious. Beer selection and cocktails were good as well. Really enjoyed the old fashioned. Our server Joel also deserves a lot of credit. He was really busting his a$$ taking care of several tables and was very attentive to our large group. At the end of the night he went through the trouble of trying to separate a rather large tab which I personally know can be a hassle. Highly recommend this place. It was my understanding that it was the first night for music bingo. It was a lot of fun and the young lady that hosted it was spectacular. Will be back soon! read more

The decorations and vibe of this place is very cool. The food was mostly good although very expensive for what you get. Best thing we ate was the "Austin Twinkie" bursting with flavor. The wings had good flavor as well but were very small. The kids ordered macaroni and cheese for their meals, it looked good but when they would not eat it I wondered why so tried it out for myself it was bland. Our waitress was very nice and helpful with the extensive menu. The food came out hot and fast. The self pour wall was cool but was pretty expensive even for craft beer. We really wanted to like this place and we will probably come back but we won't be rushing to come back. read more

For our first time in we stopped for a late lunch, beer and a variety of appetizers. The vibe of the place is great and really liked the idea of the place. I love trying a variety of beers so big plus. Lots of comfy places to sit. The food itself had some wins and some loses. The wings were really, really tiny (i forgot about picture). The staff recognized how small the wings were and brought extras. Nice touch but... when you want wings... you want meaty wings. The Philly egg rolls were fine. Ive had much meatier ones but the sauces was good. The calamari had great flavor. The sauce was good but what shouldn't you do if you want to keep food crispy... set them in a wet sauce. They got soggy super quick. The blue cheese chips... this was a giant no. The chips were the thinnest chips I've ever had... then dumped in a lot of sauce and wrapped up. It was a super soggy mess. Where I find really disappointing, our waitress was honest.... lots of complaints. Lots. So why are they changing? Real miss. The texas twinkle item was the best thing... really tasty. Super winner. I really like the place and great spot for rockwall but 4 star is more for the vibe and spot... the food is probably a 2 to 2.5. They need to think though the food and make some updates... and listen to the customers feedback. read more

Tried this out for the first time and all the food was yummy. My family had a mix of appetizers, burger, tuna nachos and chicken tenders and everything was delicious. Menu has a mix of food from all over the world to cover something for everyone. Service was great and the decor is super cute. read more

I really like this taproom. I have been a couple times and received great service from young servers, had great hot/fresh food and good drink selection. The menu is expansive and offers a good variety of different types of foods. Beer options was ok- I was expecting more niche options and they were also out of a couple different taps. Overall the beer is a bit expensive but it's a fun experience. Also have a full bar if you want something else. Overall it's a really great spot for a neighborhood taproom and the north rockwall area needs more options like this. Go support it! read more

Nice new place @ 205 / Quail Run, good selection of "self serve" tap beer (and wine) Food was above average, but still a little work in progress. I had the Miami Cuban, a solid 7... a little light on flavor and a tad dry... but not bad. My son had the Koreatown Fried Chicken sandwich... he gave it an 8, would have been a 10 but a little strong with a salty soy sauce taste. All in all, it was worth the trip. They have been open since March... give them some time to work out the details and this will be a def go to spot in Rockwall. read more

Dropped in for the 1st time. Bright and roomy. Brisket Queso was outstanding. I had the KC Pitmaster burger... w/bacon and smoked pulled pork. My wife had the New Orleans Shrimp PO-Boy. She could only eat half but brought home great cherry pie. Long line of self-serve craft beer taps. Flights available. A little pricey but these days, if you come away satisfied with what you were served it's a wonderful thing. read more

Nice wide open place. The staff is great... the Philly cheese egg rolls appetizers were awesome! They offered a Chicago Dog, but I didn't order it because it lacked the signature sport peppers. My first time at WTP and it did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated immediately, no wait at 7:00 pm on a Saturday. Our server was friendly and the owner actually came by and chatted with us before we ordered...very nice touch. We ordered the Philly Eggrolls as an appetizer, they were crisp and very good. My son ordered the shrimp tacos and he loved them. I ordered the KC burger and it was delicious. I had to try a hotdog and the New York one was great. I did not have a beer but the tap wall was really cool. I'll check that out soon. This place has the feel of a neighborhood bar BUT with really good food. I'll be back to try other things soon! One last thing...we had our food in minutes AND they don't make it until you order it...very good service. read more

My wife and I came here to get lunch. We decided we would try the Philadelphia cheesesteak egg rolls, the Las Vegas burger and the NY hot dog. The egg rolls were phenomenal, the burger was also delicious. The waitress was great, the ambiance was also great. Now, the reason for a 3 star review... the menu said that the NY dog was supposed to come with sauerkraut, grilled onions and mustard. The hotdog they served us came with grilled onions, raw diced onions and no sauerkraut. We asked the waitress wasn't this supposed to come with sauerkraut? She said that the NY dog didn't come with that. Then she went back to the kitchen and then came back with a side of kraut, confirming that we were right about what the menu said. We told her that we didn't want the diced onions and asked if they could remake it the way it was supposed to come. She then brought us a plain dog with the stuff for the NY dog on the side. That's not what I ordered and i came to the restaurant so I didn't have to cook or prepare my food. read more

We really had a good time here. It was Friday at 5:30 and the kitchen they said was short staffed. But they told us ahead of time so had no problem waiting. Everyone was very nice and kept checking on us. Yeh food was really good. The only thing was we ordered a side of onion rings and we got 4 for 8 dollars. Not worth it at all. I ordered the wings with the Texas bbq rub and really enjoyed the run and they were cooked perfectly. They are not huge wings but very good. I took my kids and grandchild to there it was around 530 so it was not crowded we ordered sandwiches and fry's. The food took over thirty minuets to come out and it came out at different times. My granddaughter's had a child's burger, it came out on a full size bun and was cooked into a hard knot. I had the Cuban the meat was cooked into pieces of meat potato chips without pickles and a large glob of mustard and a small cup of frys. My wifes cheese steak came out with a Sause that was just some beef water of some sort. They did offer to replace the food but after the time wait we just paid and left. read more
