Okay so after watching Undercover Boss. I finally decided to give this place a try. The show made what they do look so freaking good and fresh and with the highest quality ingredients. So I caved in after passing this place by for years to give them a try. Let me be clear that I am not a pizza lover per say. I don't really like marinara sauce. Nevertheless I have had some pretty tasty pizzas that totally made me ignore my preference and knock out a slice of two. So here I ordered the meat lover's and an order of wings. I must admit that pizza had lots of meats and the bacon stood out to me of all things as they use real bacon here. It was evident. My issue is it really didn't have enough flare to it to make it different from just any other pizza. I mean the crust was just crust. It had zero flavor and it just tasted like a dough that anyone can make even in their first try at mixing flour and water together. For every bite I had, I regretted it and missed just a pan pizza from pizza hut. The wings were, were, were ... How do you say... Never again. I even put them in my air fryer to cook them more to attempt to make them crispier, and the results were just "absolutely never again as long as I'm on the planet and even for free, No." I give em 2 stars. Watch out! I tried to order pizzas online last evening. The button for this location did not work. A pop-up appeared that said to call the store. I did and placed the order. When I went to pick them up, the door was locked, and the lights were out. A sign on the door said they were closed for 5 days due to the electricity being out and orders could be picked up at another location. That was miles away. Out of 6 cauliflower crust pizzas ordered only 2 came with cauliflower crust. Out of 4 people who need cauliflower crust all of them had to share 2 pizzas. They were good. But not enough. How do you mess up a major part of the order only partially? Grub hub was very helpful and I should receive a refund for the incorrect pizzas, but now I have to quickly find something else for hungry people. Not cool Marco's. I am from out of town, but we've had Marcos in several states and I'm sad that our first food in Houston is a disappointment. I don't leave many reviews, but I do buy a decent amount of pizza and I buy a lot of pizza from this store. Having trouble with my phone, I tried to call and order in, the customer service person who answered the phone was rude. I I restarted the app and was able to place my order, when I walked into the store first time doing pick up, I normally have it delivered, I walked in and went to the restroom. They have a sign on the door that says customers only and it was locked, I went back to the front counter and asked for the key to the restroom. First, they had to verify whether or not I had an order placed, and then they went and opened up the restroom door. They keep the restroom locked, but they don't keep it clean that I definitely do not understand. I always question management when they don't let the public use their restrooms, to me it just really do not care about the customer. read more

I placed my order from the website. The app said my food was delivered, when it had not yet to come. I called the Marcos and the girl on the phone said the driver "must have delivered it to someone else". she made no apology and this means another customer got an order they did not want). She then went on to say, "we are low on drivers so the driver can't come back and then redeliver the pizza to you." I asked, "so what is my option?" she said she "I will refund you in 3-5 days". "refund me or that's when the refund will return to my card?" I asked for clarification. "I will refund you in 3-5 days" " So you are going to hold my funds for 3 days and It is going to take another 3-5 days for it to hit my card?" I asked. "That's how it goes", she said. "So I'm not getting my pizza's and you are holding my money" I asked. "I'm not holding your money". All of a sudden I realized I am arguing with a girl that that lacked any kind of sympathy for the fact that Marcos delivered my order to someone else, takes no stance of remorse or at least understanding that after waiting 40 minutes for an order that didn't come, my family is hungry and having to figure what we are going to do for our family meal, As opposed to saying, "I am sorry for our mistake, you can come and pick up a pizza, have door dash pick it up or we can refund you." Instead I am left feeling disrespected unappreciated. So I say, " why are you being disrespectful to me? I did not cause any of the issues in this discussion. " she said,"I don't care if you take your business somewhere else." out of the blue like she was either used to making that statement. I decided moving forward I will take her advice and take my business elsewhere. I came here for the first time today around 4, to try and camp somewhere with good food while avoiding the dreaded Houston traffic. The store was pristine, with about 10 or so tables each built for parties of about 4. The server at the register was very helpful, cheerful and efficient. I ordered the Deluxe Uno and was given a $15 minute wait time. The pizza was delivered by hand to my table in under 10 minutes. Again, the server was very helpful offering me red pepper flakes, parmesan, paper plates, napkins, anything I could think of. The pizza itself has crust the consistency of a pan crust from Pizza Hut. It's moderately thick and rich. The toppings fill the pizza to the brim, the mushrooms especially. The cheese is the kind that actually never breaks, which is a bit of a pain to eat, but oh so delicious. That being said it's a bit pricey, though a bit higher tier than a chain pizza shop, it can't really boast being #1. $16.76 for a medium pizza, plus tip, might put you out a bit more than you were expecting. read more

i came here not too long ago expecting some decent service but honestly this has got to be one of the worst experiences ever. I was "greeted" by a worker named Wyatt and right of the bat he had such an attitude and was incredibly rude to me. I was being super polite and even being apologetic when asking him questions about the menu and what not because of how upset he seemed that he had to do his job??? i honestly think he deserves to be fired because i witnessed him doing this to multiple customers not just me... i hope you will reconsider having wyatt as one of your workers in the future. also seemed like he might've been getting high in the restroom because when he came out his eyes were basically bloodshot....i will never be coming back ever again!! read more

This is a must try pizza place for any pizza lover, it was really delicious the crust was nice and flaky and the ingredients were so fresh. They also have great deals during the week. Monday's they have a 14" large 1 topping for $6.99 and they have a special for tues and weds. Of course these are carry out or eat in specials. They also have a Mon-Friday $5.99 before 3pm lunch special. Great customer service , delicious food and very clean location. I will be back for more. read more

My husband and I love Marco's Pizza however we did not have a good experience yesterday. We placed a delivery order and when we received it the order was wrong. I called the location only to have the manager blame us for it being wrong because she took the order. All we wanted was to be heard and have some resolution. We saw a tv commercial for Marcos Pizza's Pizza Bowls (no crust). Since I eat gluten free, the pizza bowl idea looked fabulous! My Hubby ordered a medium thin-crust meat pizza, and I got the pizza bowl. The pizza bowl is basically a double helping of sauce, with toppings of choice, and a few dollops of melty cheese, with a sprinkle of Romano cheese on top. You have to REALLY like sauce to like Marco's Pizza Bowl. It is not anywhere near as cheesy as the tv ad entices one to believe. Also, Marco says the Pizza Bowl is 2 servings. That might be true, IF one serving of regular pizza is only one or two slices. I ate all of mine, by myself, and except for getting tired of eating predominately sauce & pepperoni, I was not overly full afterwards. Hubs liked his pizza more than I liked my bowl. The thin crust is almost cracker-like in its crispness. Will we come back? Possibly. But I'll defi pass on the bowl and try the gluten-friendly pizza crust next time. read more

We always order from Marco's because up to now they have been outstanding. Instead of picking up we opted for delivery. We ordered 2 calzones, neither of which came with any pizza dipping sauce. Called the location, all I wanted was someone to bring the sauce. Didn't ask for a manager, and yet I was transferred to one, who said they would get our sauce out in about 20 minutes, the original employee who answered the phone had the nerve to ask if we would like to come in and pick up the missing sauce, ugh! Who sends calzones out without the sauce? We also tipped over 20 percent due to the high price of gas, even though we are less than a mile from the store. We've ordered twice this month from the Franz Road location in Katy. The first time, it took 2 hours to get our delivery. I had to call twice to check on it and was told it was on the way when it clearly was not. Tonight, we thought we would give them another chance. The result? No pizza at all. Ever taken a bite of something and have it instantly take you back to your childhood for certain flavors? This place reminded me of Fargo pizza in Denver. It's been years since I've had it, or hell even thought of it! But I took a bite and it instantly brought up those memories. The pizza was very good, nice crisp crust, lots of toppings, and the right amount of sauce. You can even eat there! Which is weird for any pizza place now a days. They have a good menu with lots of sandwiches, pies, and wings. I cannot recommend the wing, however. They were real flubbery and not appetizing at all. The sandwiches and pizzas were stellar tho. My pizza place use to be Papa Johns but noticed a decrease in their "quality ingredients". We opted for Marco's since they had a 2 topping large pizza for $8.99 carry out. We ordered pepperoni and bell peppers and cheesy bread for the BF. You can add crust toppers such as garlic, Parmesan or roma. We went with original...maybe we will try the toppers on a next visit. Pizza looked great and came out piping hot! Cheesy bread has great flavor and baked just right! Pizza is not greasy which is a plus for me! The crust is made fresh and has a light, chewy, with a slight crunch when you bite in to it! Soooo good! Fresh ingredients and nice staff!
