Since my earlier review we have taken out pizza from here a few times. This review is essentially the same as the last one. I've changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars and added a comment that has nothing to do with their pizza. They do a bang-up takeout business. We see a constant stream of people come in-and-out doing takeout. Because so few people eat their pizza here they have more than abundant seating. We like thin and crispy so we got the Thin & Crispy Pepperoni Magnifico. For all who wonder what Old World Pepperoni is, it's ordinary pepperoni only smaller. When they say thin they mean T*H*I*N! The first time we also ordered crisp. It was sorta like eating extra thin hardboard. The pizza is messy to eat but tastes good. We particularly like the crazy quilt way they cut the pizza. We haven't ordered crisp after the first time. The last couple of times we've been there the parking places nearest the door were taken but their delivery people. If I were the owner/manager I would want the closest spaces kept open for customer. Since this opinion didn't affect the pizza it didn't affect the rating. This is a solid pizza place. I will not call it joint as it is a chain but their pizza is decent. No, it is to what you would get at an Neapolitan style pizza place but it is good and they use a good old world pepperoni. Better than the big chain places. I received Awesome service. The product I ordered was an Italion special Sub! It was Awesome!!! They don't cut them in half, but after wrapping the entire sandwich up and bagging it, I asked if it was. Cut in half (12" Sandwich) he said no, and immediately unwrapped it and cut in half! If looking for real authentic pizza do not go here no one wants canned toppings not only that the employees don't scrub under their nails before making your food, mods pizza is across the street their toppings aren't coming out of a can or dans pizza on hwy 3 I definitely recommend going to! Marco's pizza doesn't really care about the customers or even the employees they only care about the money they are making and especially don't work here the owner doesn't respect people with disabilities and doesn't want people with any disabilities to work at his store. Another pie shop in the neighborhood? A-ok by me -- especially when it's this good. Snuggled in the new shopping center next to The Reserve lies Marco's. I approached this like I would any other chain, with average expectations, that is. Boy, did they prove me wrong! The online ordering experience was flawless, fast, and smooth. You have ample opportunities to really customize your meal anywhere from making sure it is baked to your liking, your crust has a topper, to the thickness of your crust and whether it is gluten full or free. The ingredients were amazingly fresh and the sauce tastes homemade. We ordered twice from here, pizza both times, with the additional salad and sandwich in each visit. The pepperoni melt pizza was one of the best I've had in the area. It was loaded with pepperoni and cheese and was baked to perfection. The antipasti salad was pretty good, but could have used more meat and antipasti fixings as the ratio to lettuce was pretty light. The meatball sandwich was amazing. The sauce was both tangy and sweet and the meatballs had a hint of Italian sausage that gave them extra pizazz (I will definitely be ordering again). One of the biggest crowd pleasers for us is that the menu is much more than just pizza. You can order salads, wings, sub sandwiches both hot and cold, and even desserts. This definitely makes meal planning a breeze when not everyone is in the mood for pizza. An added plus is that if you order delivery, their vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking so you know where your order is at all times. The crowning moment of my Marco's experience was the follow up by the owner Stuart. He called us the day after we ordered to check on our experience. He wanted to know how we liked the food, how the delivery went, if his staff was courteous, and if there is anything they can do to improve. He also gave me his cell # so that if I ever have concerns or feedback I can easily contact him. That's how you run a business! I really hope they stick around for the long haul in the neighborhood as they are my new go-to for a pizza fix. read more

I have tried pizzas from different locations but this one is by far my favorite! I'm not originally from here and I'm so sad that McAllen does not have a good pizza place like this one. I have ordered multiple times and every time it's delicious! I have ordered the pepperoni magnifico pizza. The cinnamon buns or I'm not sure what they are called are good just the icing that it comes with is not so good. The taste is very blah. read more

This review is for delivery only. As in don't do it. Just don't. We got a mailer and I was raving to hubby about how good the pizza was, as I had it at my previous job from a different location, so we decided to order delivery. Went online and the ordering process was super quick and easy, even as a new customer and the delivery time said it would be around 40-45 minutes. Ok, fine, no worries, we turned the oven on in case the pizza wasn't very warm and we settled in to wait. And wait. And wait. I turned the oven up higher as there was no way this pizza would be warm when we got it. An hour and 20 minutes later, the pizza arrived. Not in any sort of warming bag, or with any sort of apology for the long wait. And yes, it was cold. I understand it's sometimes hard to keep pizza warm, but it definitely won't stay warm if you just throw it in the backseat, not in any sort of warming bag or enclosure. Once we got it heated in the oven it tasted pretty good, which is why they got two stars, not just one. I doubt we will order delivery again as it's just not quick, or if we do order, we will order super early, and turn the oven on, but really, that kinda defeats the purpose. Moved to the area a little while back. Found these guys and won't use anyone else. Perfect Chicken Dippers, great Chicken Wings, and the pizza is amazing. Decided to try Marco's Pizza for the first time since, I recieved a coupon in the mail for a free 1 large topping pizza. When I recieved the pizza not only was nice and hot but tasted amazing. I ordered the pepperoni with butter garlic crust that did not disappoint. I will definitely be ordering more from this place. Needed some dinner quick and didn't want any fast food. Ordered on line with a discount code paid and monitored on line pickup was great and pizza was hot and delicious. This place is freaking AMAZING!!!! The pizza is definitely top of the line. I don't know how they make their pizza sauce so damn good. My kids love eating here. It's always somewhere on the menu for the week. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. The staff is always friendly. Pizza is always fresh, hot and on time. Can't say enough about this place. Had the all meat pizza. (All Meat) we did add mushrooms. The crust was so good. Lots of toppings . The cheese had a good favor. . The chicken bites are just the right sizes and the breading on them was perfect. Friendly staff. Will be going back to try something else. But will have to have the chicken bites again. I haven't been at this place, so my review is just based on take to go orders. My kids are obsessed with cheese pizza, so since this place is super close to our house. We started to order via the phone, and go pick our order. Stuff were very friendly, and it is one of the most fast service that I had experienced in a pizza place .
