I ordered chicken bbq pizza hoping for one similar to what had in Destin, FL at Merlin's not long ago. Alas, it was no comparison. Lots of bbq sauce used like pizza sauce is not what I was looking for. Both my husband and I resorted to using napkins to wipe off excess bbq sauce. I would not order that again. Went yesterday for the first time. I got the lunch pasta trio and hubby got the Philly cheese steak sandwich. They came out hot, fresh and delicious! Love the sauce on pasta trio. We ordered a pizza to go for dinner later and after warming in the oven it was the best pizza we've had in a long time. **Frankie's has moved** I passed through Georgetown so of course I had to stop by Frankie's to pick up dinner. I called in my order and the pictures online still show their green colored building that's off of IH35, however, Google kept trying to take me to a totally different location about 6mins away. I decided to ignore the directions and went to the green bldg only to find that they're in fact no longer there. They have a new spot in a little strip mall not too far down the road so trust your GPS/Google :-) I got the Chicken Cremora ($13.99) which I remembered coming with a side salad but I guess that's changed because it didn't this night. It did come with 2 of their little soft, freshly baked rolls. I don't come through here often and I'd like to try other dishes, however, I know this one is delicious so I always tend to stick with that. read more

My daughter and I shared a Candain Bacon & Mushroom pizza and it was delicious!!! Pleanty of toppings and a fantastic priv=ce (thank goodness)! We took home the chocolate cheesecake and a tiramisu and they were yummy. Everyone was very friendly! Go try it!!! read more

I placed an order for pick up and customer service was friendly and professional; my order was ready in the time they estimated. I picked-up via their drive-thru, which was convenient (especially with little ones in the car), and everything I ordered was accounted for. I ordered two large meat-lover pizzas, Chicken Tuscany, added a side salad for $1, one slice of chocolate cheesecake, a slice of strawberry cheesecake and a slice of German chocolate cake-- hey, it was my husband's birthday!! Lol. The pizza was good; my husband (who is a major pizza fan) liked it as well, but we weren't wowed. The pizza was super cheesy and seemed to be a tad underdone. The Chicken Tuscany was superb!! I'm so glad I took the advice of my fellow Yelpers and ordered it! So decadent, creamy and filling, and the angel hair pasta was cooked to perfection. Squeeze a bit of lemon juice over it to put it over the top! It came with garlic knots--yum. My husband (and our kids) loved the cakes! Overall, 5 stars for customer service and the Chicken Tuscany, and 3 stars for the pizza. Frankie's has recently relocated from I35 to Leander Rd in Georgetown but still has their awesome menu. The pizzas here are top-notch and loaded with toppings but my favorite thing on the menu is the Stromboli, which consists of Frankie's homemade dough loaded with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, ground beef, sausage and cheese. I'm holding back a star because I don't have will power. I've only tried the pasta part of Frankie's Pizza and Pasta. Their pizzas look delicious. But once I tried their pasta I completely lack the willpower to give up on their tasty, tangy, meaty, carb-packed pasta. It is SO good! I may be doing myself a disservice because they constantly are handing out pick-up pizzas and in-house pizzas and pie by the slice. And they look fantastic. But while my eyes see that, my mind's eye is seeing thin, long spaghetti noodles coated in rich sauce twirling around my fork and ascending into my pasta hole. I'm also not the only person needing the noodles. Every table I've seen on four visits has at least one pasta dish next to the pie. They also have Peroni (Italian beer) which is a delicious taste while you wait. You get a lot of pasta for your money (the spaghetti is just larger than angel hair pasta and really takes on the sauce). The meatballs are delicious. And the to-go packaging keeps the meal super warm and fresh. I don't know if I can short-circuit a keyboard with drool but I'm about to... I promise, my Yelp friends, if...nay, WHEN...I try the pizza I will update this review and the rating. This isn't the best pasta I've ever had in the world, but it is comforting, which any pasta should. I am in loveee with their Cannelloni, and ordered it on a whim the first time. It was delicious, and hasn't let me down since. Where I struggle with is their fettuccine alfredo. It's easily one of my staples whenever I'm feeling Italian, and each time I've picked Frankie's for dinner, my husband gives the chicken alfredo a shot. This last time, he said it wasn't worth it. He didn't think there was enough sauce, and felt like what was there wasn't good. I did enjoy the Caesar dressing that I was able to order with my house salad ($5 something versus the almost 8 for a straight up Caesar), and the bread provided is decent. It's easy to rip apart and soak up sauce (which plenty came with my cannelloni this time - it was borderline swimming in it), so it'll do in my book. read more
