Came here for the first time on my lunch break, excitedly about the fact it's only 2 mins away from my job. Was hoping to come here often as I love pizza and pastas. The staff took my order was very rude, unfriendly and made me never want to come back. Just took my order through me my pizza and walked off. Didn't ask if needed napkins for the greasy pizza, didn't offer condiments or anything! Didn't tell me where the drink machine was when sitting my cup on the counter. And pizza was still cold. Niki's, thanks for bringing me a double-slice of my childhood! Stopped by and ordered their two-slices-and-a-drink lunch special. Picked out a couple pieces of pepperoni and kicked back to wait. The slices arrived piping hot and took me back to NJ when I bit into them. The old place I used to go to as a kid was Aljon's back in Princeton Junction. (They're STILL there after 30+ years of being in business!) The pizza, like here, was a thin NYC-style 'foldable' crust. And the pepperoni were deliciously greasy. Seriously, if you hold the slice tip-down, the grease will dribble off the pepperoni! Still, this is delicious fare, and I'd come back in a heartbeat. Especially if my arteries need an extra coat to shore 'em up. This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Sunday night felt like a pizza/pasta kinda night so went with Niki's Pizza & Pasta in Round Rock. There was the option of online ordering but I had a question so I just ordered over the phone when I called. When we arrived I noticed that they offer 15% off your first online order when you go through their website (Note for next time ). They have tons of specials and they're very reasonably priced. The gentleman that helped us over the phone and while inside for pick-up was super nice. I got 2 slices (1 Cheese & 1 Pepperoni) of pizza and an order (6 pcs) of Hot Wings (skip the heat... please). The thin New York style pizza was delicious! I think I enjoyed the plain cheese the most because the cheese was so fresh and creamy tasting. My daughter made the same comment when she tried it. The wings were good. They were mild as I requested but I think I was anticipating wings dipped in sauce for some reason so it wasn't necessarily what I expected but still I enjoyed them. My daughter got the Chicken Parmigiana entree which included a Garlic Knot and a small side salad. The pasta and meat sauce were both delicious. The chicken was just a little too crispy which made it a bit tough to eat. The Garlic Knot was super soft and fresh kinda pastry-like. The side salad consisted of iceburg lettuce, olives, feta and sliced tomatoes. It was a nice little salad to accompany the her meal which was like $11! Definitely give Niki's a try! read more

Stumbled across Niki's several weeks ago. We each ordered a slice and a soda. This took me right back to my childhood in Jersey. OMG good. We've been back several times since that day. Love it. The restaurant isn't fancy, it is a pizza parlor and is clean with booths a plenty. It's has many other choices other than pizza offered. I haven't tried anything else since this Jersey girl is still lovin' on my slice and a Pepsi. read more

I ordered the supreme deep dish pizza (IDK why). I think I was thinking it was going to be comparable to Chicago style, but I was so wrong! I ordered for delivery, but anyways it was sicilian style. Other than being a lot of bread, I thought it was yummy! niki's deserves better than the reviews it currently has! as a NJ transplant, this is the closest pie i've found to an NJ pie. thin enough to fold, has the grease you love to see, and doesnt overdo it with the toppings. you don't want your pizza to be weighed down by the insane amount of crazy, zany toppings; you want your pizza thin crust and super flavorful. i tried the plain and the pepperoni pies. found the pepperoni to be a bit overly salty, but that's life. niki's is definitely going to be a mainstay for me. read more

Although I've lived in Round Rock my whole life & even went to the high school right across the street, this was my first time trying Niki's (I'm 25). My boyfriend & I went in an hour before close. They were out of the cheese pizza sadly, so we ordered pepperoni. The owners were so nice & even gave us an extra slice! The pizza was very good, although a little greasier than I prefer mine. We ordered some ranch cups as well & they have some of the best ranch I've tried (top 5). I will return for a quick bite! I'll have to try their pasta! read more

Have been spoiled by eating NYC pizza for a while. For an "out of town" pizza, this was not too bad. I would give it about three stars. The service was better than average. The employees were warm and nice to me. The pizza I got was a sales item and did not cost very much. Soft drinks had unlimited refills. The restaurant and rest rooms were all clean. Was there during the last hour of lunch, near 1 PM. read more

Came over to this little area in Round Rock just down the street from where I work with the intent of getting "other food" but on a whim decided to come in and try the slice/salad/soda combo. What looked like an ordinary piece of pepperoni turned out to be a fantastic slice! The ingredients are obviously high quality and there's something about that sauce. The crust is wonderful as well. I've since ordered no less than 20 pizza's from Niki's for work and personal events. Service is fast and friendly too! Wish I could have thought to take pictures before everything was gobbled up! AND they make fresh croutons for the salads which are fresh and delicious. I forgot to mention the baked ziti and cannoli of which my father told me was the best he ever had. 5 stars! My husband, I, and our 4 children absolutely love Niki's. The kids like pepperoni or sausage, but my husband I's favorite is the margarita. It's is amazing each time we have it. The owners are very kind and helpful. I've been told the best thing on the menu is the calzone, but the margarita pizza is too good to not get each time. I'll have to try it though. Wowowow! I'm a self proclaimed pizza snob. I'm an a new yorker who judges pizza on the regular. Beyond the fact a great slice should be able to be folded, the crust to sauce to cheese ratio needs to be perfect and niki's has IT. The pizza is okay, and the atmosphere is a bit underwhelming. Haven't tried the other food yet, but if you're wanting pizza, it seems to scratch the itch. It would be helpful if they played some music and adjusted the lighting. The last few times I was in there, it was relatively crowded with people picking up to go orders, but awkwardly silent. There was a muted tv on in the corner playing sports, but otherwise everyone was just quietly standing around under the commercial fluorescent lights waiting for their food. Made you want to get out of there quickly. The few people eating in the restaurant were sitting at their tables talking under their breath because if they had a normal conversation, everyone else in the restaurant would just be awkwardly listening. Great pizza but horrible at fulfilling delivery orders. Three times they have messed up and not had the pizza ready or thinking it had already been picked up which was total garbage. I feel sorry for the Grubhub delivery drivers that last time waited to 30 min to find the restaurant forgot again to make the pizza. Ok first two times shame on them. Third time shame on me for believing this disorganized restaurant was capable of getting it right. Time to move on. read more
