This is the second time I've ordered from them. The first time I ordered carry out and the app said they'd bring it out to us curbside. My friend went in and they said they didn't do that. No big deal. This time, we ordered delivery and they took literally 2 hours to deliver it to us. Called them to see what was up and the girl claimed that they were very busy. I ordered a pizza at 7:45pm and according to the website it was supposed to arrive at 8:30. At 10pm when the pizza had still not arrived ed I contacted the store. The only issue I have is delivery. I can't even get a pizza delivered which defeats the purpose of having a pizza restaurant chain that is competing with Papa John's and the others. I have called several times during different times of the year and they say they can only do carry out. Therefore, I order Dominoes, Pizza Hut, or Papa John's. Terrible Service alert: Marco's Pizza 3049 Panola Rd Lithonia,GA 30038 Wife orders a pizza and goes to pick it up. She pays for the pizza and wait. The cashier hands her the pizza. The manager approaches the cashier and ask for a receipt. The cashier can't find the receipt. The Manager tells my wife you can't take the pizza because I can't find a receipt. My wife pulls up her account online and shows the Manager the charge being debit. The Manager replies I see it, but if take the pizza I will call the police and tell them you stole it. My wife returned home frustrated. I called the Manager named Lequetta and shared that what they did could possibly be considered "Theft of Services ". we ordered a thin crust pepperoni and build your own. they burned the pizza up. the grandkids (4) picked over it and when i called the store they said i need at least half pizza left in order to get a re make or refund. This is it! Finally the right pizza for my calling since I been here from Cali. Marcos puts all the other franchises pizza to shame. Picked up a Large 3 topping, classic & old world pep, italian sausage $17.00 done in 15 min. This was the closest to taste back home Round Table Pizza in Northern Cali. Service is great, the order was repeated back for confirmation, the lady to the left was on the go busy with the phone, pizza was getting flipped and tossed in the air. The quality cheese is up there, had a slight long drive home and was thinking my pizza is turning into a plastic frisbee by the seconds, apon arrival it was still soft and cheesy, crust not soggy meats still juicy, impressed. Buttery crust so good. A bit more pricey then other pizza places but quality assured. My tip is to always get the classic tossed. The pizza seemed lightweight to me, compare to they're thin crust. Parking is open in the same lot of Publix in between a hair beauty salon and barber shop. Great pizza from first bite to the end, definitely will be back. read more

The staff does not conduct themselves in a professional manner ( yelling, talking loud and using profanity in the presence of customers as they wait on the pizza). My last 2 take out pizzas, (the works and supreme) lacked extra cheese (as ordered) and lacked adequate tomato sauce. The pizzas have not been prepared per the Marco's pizza recipe. I never complain about no place but they need to know this who ever the owner is. The service that is being provided is terrible, after long day of work last thing people need is frustration. I ordered a "salad" i repeat a "salad" after 20 mins, no exaggeration ask why is it taking so long for a cesser salad no one look like they even took the order. So I nicely just gave back the change and ask for my money back. And the person in charge ask why she had to put her number to cancel an order. I seriously wish I could give 0 stars. I've ordered here before and after several bad experiences stopped a couple of years ago but decided to give them another shot. I placed an order for delivery and after a little more than an hour went by I decides to check in and see what their ETA was. A young lady answered the phone and then asked me to hold , when she came back I told her the reason for my call and she said my order was for pick up but I told her when I placed the order and she asked is it pick or delivery I said delivery as I always do whenever we order pizza. She then stated that " well we can deliver but it's gonna be a minute ". No apology or remorse for their mistake. I asked to speak with her manager and she said " they stepped out for 5 minutes " I asked her for the managers name and she stated " we can't give out names, just our own " and proceeded to give me her name. I called back 15 minutes later and the same young lady when I asked to speak with the manager, stated " she ain't back yet". I said it has been more than 5 minutes so when will she return? She then stated " I don't know". They first need to train the employees on customer service starting with how they greet the customers. Secondly, she was rude and seeing that I'm a customer whose order was wrong on their end , should be more pleasant about their mistake. This is a new Marco's in our area. I had never had it before, so I was excited to try it out, as the only options for pizza around these parts is Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Domino's, and Little Caesar's. I ordered delivery from here several times, with no issues. I did have an issue once (they didnt put parmesan on the crust like i ordered, and they gave me jalapenos instead of banana peppers), and the manager rectified it by giving me a credit for a free pizza. Cool. I was impressed by the good customer service. On to today's issue: I ordered a pizza at 8:41PM online, and was quoted a delivery time of 9:23PM. The deliveries are usually prompt. At 9:43, I called inquiring as to the whereabouts of my order. The young lady that answered the phone stated that due to the weather, and the NBA Finals being on, that they were backed up. A couple of facts here: It only rained for 15 minutes max, so I dont see how that is holding anything up. True enough, the finals are on, but everybody knows that, and they shouldve staffed accordingly in anticipation of the increased order volume. That said, it is now 1hr past the quoted delivery time. I called back, obviously very livid by this time, as my patience is extremely short, and even shorter when im hungry. The young lady took a very harsh tone with me, telling me "You just gonna have to wait for your pizza or come up here and get it!!" (This said to me that my pizza wasnt even in the F^&*king car with a driver yet!!!!) I asked for the general manager, and she rudely told me (he talkin to other folk right now so you gonna have to call back). Needless to say, I lost it at this point. No compensation was offered for my inconvenience, as I believe it should have been, as this delay is their fault, and not mine. I'm not just trying to get freebies, and I understand things happen. But for a whole hour to pass after the quoted delivery time, and I dont get so much as a courtesy call, or a credit, or something, is highly unacceptable. By the way, it is now 1.5 hours past the quoted delivery time, and I have yet to see my pizza!!!!! Update.............shortly after posting this, a manager named Shawn called me back, and I expressed my concern, and he offered to either void the transaction and give me the pizza free, or put in the system that my next order is free.
