Love this place!!! We tried it last Friday and enjoyed it so much we brought our family back the next week to celebrate hubby's birthday! The food is freshly prepared with fresh ingredients, tasty, and attractively plated. Kattie is a great server who also makes great cocktails as the bartender! Tuna carpaccio was tasty. We had the peche pizza as an appetizer...delicious crust, fresh peaches, generous arugula and prosciutto. The salmon and the duck were outstanding! We also enjoyed the radiatori, the delicate pasta is made fresh on site. We love the miso honey sweet potatoes and the summer corn salad! The crab stuffed mushrooms were okay...flavor profile not as strong as I expected. The shrimp Vesuvius was tasty...the accompaniment was a little bland. Truly a piece of culinary excellence. For the most part, our table stuck with appetizers, and somehow that alone delivered a full dining experience. Every single dish came out intentional, balanced, and full of flavor -- the kind of food that makes you slow down and appreciate each bite. Hidden gem! The food is always fantastic. All the pasta is homemade. Rotating menu with some staple items. Came in for a mid day meal. Nice little restaurant setting in a small mall area of Lilburn....adjacent to Krogers. Lot's of parking available. pleasant chatty personnel to help with a wine selection as well as a decision on an entree choice. My meal was a gyro salad along with sharing a plate of stuffed mushrooms for a beginner course. The first uh-oh was the use of mushrooms that still had the stem in place; and the "stuffing" pressed on top....which got a bit messy and not as much stuffing as would have been if the stems had been twisted out and the hollow filled to overflow. The gyro salad was a good mix of greens. The sliced gyro didn't appear nor taste like it was carved from a gyro cone as there were no rotisserie char on the meat. Having said that, I knew that my love for a gyro salad is due to a local (Conyers) restaurant that I've been ordering each week to share with my wife. The peppers, Kalamata olives; ice cold greens were sorely missed, however the Tzatziki sauce was very good. The two stars reflects that we might be disappointed on a return visit although we do plan to come back one evening in the near future just to try out the dinner menu. Very nice little Italian restaurant/wine bar tucked away in the corner of the shopping center. They had an ample amount of seating, a huge bar, and upstairs patio area. The service was on point and the server was very helpful. For appetizer, we shared the meatball and red sauce with the Gorgonzola salad and Italian spring rolls. We loved all three and tasted very pleasant. For the main entrees, we had the margarita pizza with pepperoni and shrimp and orzo. Both were very tasty. The service was excellent, the food however was sub par. We shared the cacio de pepe zepolli appetizer and it had a gummy texture that was not the cheese I had expected. For entrees we had the Linguini alle Vongole( clams) I was expecting the wine sauce to be more wine than chicken soup. It was very heavy on the pepper and the pasta was more al dente than I like. My dining companion said it was like chicken noodle soup with 6 clams, not worth the $33 price. The Lombardy pizza was delicious and was worth ordering. So, when I first walked in, I could see the place wasn't as expected. From the outside, you would've thought it would be fancy but it was far from that. First of all, the manager was rude. We ordered sun dried tomato bites and bread basket for apps, and the Lobster Campanella, ribeye with a side of pasta for main. The ribeye was seasoned and cooked well. The side of pasta with red sauce was delish. The lobster Campanelle was sooo delicious. It had a corn and chili oil and the lobster was succulent. the presentation could have been better. First, they were out of clams, so that scratched a few items from the menu. Second, they had about 1/3 of a glass of wine (my MIL wanted) left in the bottle. The location is nice but parking is limited. I chose the pork chop but sent it back because it was so overcooked that I couldn't eat it. They brought back the same plate with the same pork chop. Needless to say, they apologized and my meal was free. My guest had the swordfish which was tasty but served with something resembling couscous that had a weird texture. Fine dining right in our backyard... finally! I popped in the other day when I saw a new restaurant in the space. Fresca opened mid-December. I made reservations for New Year's Eve and felt their NYE menu would be a perfect opportunity to sample different things. The house salad was just amazing! I could eat that with some chicken for lunch and call it a day. For our pasta entree we both got the lobster tortelloni. The pasta is made fresh in the restaurant. They actually have a little space in front where they make the pasta for all to see. For our entrees, I got the petite filet with a marrow bone, and my partner got the shrimp stuffed with crab. Me being from New England and him from Baltimore, we're both picky about seafood. I tasted his shrimp and was like "Oh yeah! This is what shrimp is supposed to taste like!" It was very fresh. I catered a birthday party luncheon from Fresca yesterday. It was delivered by staff complete with chafing dishes, plates, cloth napkins, wine glasses. Everything was over the top good. My menu was: crab stuffed salmon on a bed of spinach, , Porkloin with apple stuffing, handmade pumpkin ravioli (WOW WOW WOW) with roasted root vegetables & light sauce, homemade bread basket, fresh greens with vegetables salad with homemade vinaigrette. My Cornish hen was slimy, and the side dish of the HOMEMADE Pasta tasted like something straight from a Box,it was hard and dry, Not el dente. My husbands dish was the lamb (very little lamb) and his pasta was mush. Our friends dish was the seafood pasta, and his, like mine was hard and dry. We ordered the casarecce and angel hair pasta. Of course, we got the fresh parm on top. As I was leaving my waitress, I told her it was my birthday, and she was shocked because the hostess had not informed her when it was on my reservation.
