We have found ourselves becoming BIG fans of Marco's ever since we discovered their extra thin crust (well done of course) with square cut!! We have crafted our favorite recipe by adjusting one of their specialty pizzas! The service is always good, they are always on time and always courteous! Our Marco's is on Hwy 41 in Mt. Pleasant. I can't speak for the other locations, but ours is the best IMHO!! You can usually find us there picking up our favorites on BOGO Tuesdays!! It's mostly to go, but they have a few small tables inside (as well as drinks available from a cooler) if you choose to eat inside the store! Heck, if you want a beer with your pizza, go inside the beer den at Lowe's. You can get beer and wine by the glass and sit outside on their patio and have dinner there! Enjoy! read more

We've ordered several times. Sometimes they're outstanding. A couple times we've experienced a "miss." (Isn't that all pizza joints?) Overall, the pizzas tend to be hot and tasty. Let me just say I LOATHE the newer version of the website and ordering. The colors are horrible and, while they claim accessibility, my guess is that folks who experience color blindness would totally disagree. The system has made errors in applying promotions or earned coupons, so a user may pay more than they should. These thoughts are not the local store's issue.They're responsible for the food quality, timeliness, and delivery. Like another reviewer, our order was delivered next door once. For the most part, this could be an issue of nav systems, because originally our address was supposed to be a different lot in the development. The store manager promptly responded. read more

First time we ever ordered from here. The pizza was delivered and when we opened it up, it was a jumbled mess. We called and the manager was rude. The pizza originally was taken next door but never given to the neighbors. They told the delivery driver that it was the wrong address but next door. The manager proceeded to blame the mess on the neighbor. Regardless, it's their job to assure we get what we purchased. We are always looking for a great pizza and having trouble finding one like back home (CT). We tried Marco's due to their delivery option. Their website is a little frustrating to order from, but when you call directly it's a smooth ordering process. The pizza is pretty good for a chain and they offer good deals. Delivery is on time and they have a contact free delivery. This is a good place to get delivery when you are in a rush or don't want to cook. read more

Recently ordered chicken wings for pickup. It said 15-20 mins, so went there after 15 mins and they kid at the counter couldn't find my order, then after he found it said 15-20 mins before they'll be ready. I had my 18 months old boy with me who wanted to run outside in the parking lot so we played in the parking lot. Got back in after 20 mins and the counter kid said another 25 mins cause they have been very busy. I was irritated but just went back and played some more in the parking lot. Got back after 25 mins and a different kid was behind the counter and said we just put your wings in the oven, will be another 15-20 mins. Pizza was quick and tasted great. Clean. Yelp/Grub Hub however charged me and never sent the order to Marco? Marcos called and fixed it. Watch Grub Hub carefully. They charge you and don't send your order in and establishments want fix your order and charge you again because they don't know you already paid. Twice this has happened to me. read more

Ordered Online for pizza, after the order was processed and payment made the arrival time for the pizza jumped to 120 minutes. It is Thursday night, 6:20. Pizza will not arrive until 8:20 ... NOPE. We live less than 10 minutes from this location... It is incredible to me that anyone would be ok with this kind of service and pay a delivery fee on top of that and then have the audacity to ask for a tip as well. We called the location just to make sure this was an accurate projection of the estimated time, and the very rude an un apologetic employee confirmed the estimated time and gave us the "were understaffed and very busy" excuse. When I asked for our order to be cancelled and refunded he promptly told me that isn't a problem but I won't see my refund for 7-10 business days. "WOW" I then asked to speak to the manager who identified himself as "manager speaking" when I asked what his name was, he called himself "HOAX" who then confirmed everything the previous employee said.. Absolutely worst customer service ever. Never issued a single apology, didn't try to "save us" by offering a quicker time for pick up. Just terrible. We use Marcos regularly. They are super convenient and usually have a coupon. Our son loves the pizza, I usually get he Greek salad. There are a couple tables to eat at if you were in a pinch, but the people waiting to get their to-go orders would probably have their butts in your face. It's a very small waiting/eating area. They have a large menu and everything we've tried has been good. Should probably get a five for their restaurant type, but I reserve fives for "die for" spots. read more

This is a brand new Marco's Pizza that has opened on highway 41 in Mount Pleasant. I stopped in to do a carry-out order and it is clear that they are new and everyone is still learning. it look like they had a lot of new staff that they were training. The store was clean and everyone was very friendly. They were super busy so I had to wait a bit but the pizza was delicious. It had plenty of toppings and was good and hot. hopefully the pizza stays this good after they've been open a while. read more

Although I like their pizza, and have routinely purchase from them at least twice a month, I've been going there for years and just getting pizza dough to make some pizza at home. Today I went in to get some Joe and they said that they are unable to sell it because it's illegal they can't sell raw food that's a whole different set of licensing. Not sure if that's true but it was very frustrating after driving 30 minutes to get it to be told whoever's been selling it to me for the last three years has been doing it wrong. This place decides where they want to deliver on a daily basis. One day they won't deliver 5 miles out because they claim the General Manager doesn't let them pass a certain road. I will be the first one to say that I am sympathetic to hospitality workers, particularly during shortages. But when you order a pizza that is scheduled to be picked up at 7 o'clock and you're still standing there waiting at 7:45 with no apology, there is no excuse. Our bad (and the room full of other people waiting for empty promises) for not just going somewhere else, but given the time it takes to drive and place a whole new order somewhere else, it just didn't seem feasible. Working in hospitality myself, you at least do your best as a worker to apologize and rectify the situation. That did not happen here. No apologies, no trying to make it right, nothing. Nada. And when it comes down to it, it's just Marco's pizza. Definitely not worth this trouble and poor customer service. Save your money, and your time, order your pizza elsewhere. read more

Ordered takeout pizza from here for a quick bite to eat while unpacking boxes. Overall decent pizza. Good Sauce and cheese, but they cook the pizza through a convection oven and the crust isn't like a good NY Style pizza on a flat oven. It probably works great for volume orders, but isn't our preference. read more

Marco's Pizza. Excellent service, quality, and taste. Have become a loyal customer over the last couple of years. This new location carries on those same qualities as listed above. Perfectly cooked, cut, and boxed. Not soggy, as some pizzas can sometimes be. The sauce has a nice full flavor to it. Not too spicy, not too tangy, excellent and balanced. The toppings were tasty, not bland, and the pizza was warm, all the way home, even warm to serving!! WOW. Most carry out pizza never achieves that expectation. Excellent bang for the buck. I am a Marco's Award member, well worth the emailed special offers and coupons. Took my large 5 topping pizza price down to under $8.00! Money well spent. The pizza and salads here are fine, but their ordering system and in-store operations seem to be a mess. Ordered early yesterday afternoon for a 7PM pickup. Tracking app said at 6:45pm that the order was being prepared. Got to the store at 7:05PM and they could not initially find the order; the lobby was full of people waiting: I spoke to one lady who had been waiting over 1/2 hour for an order that was supposed to be ready at 6:30PM. Anyway, they found my order in the system and told me it would be about 15 to 20 minutes. I watched them tell three people the same thing...NOT. This is the second time for this to happen at this location. Had a group of hangry kids, so I cancelled my order and had an awesome meal at Grimaldi's. read more
