I LOVE a toasted sandwich and had high hopes for 6 mile eats. I ordered ahead of time and had a very quick pick up time. Parking is in a strip mall so not too bad but a little crowded. When I walked into the restaurant, there was only one other customer sitting down to eat, but I did go around 2 PM so that's to be expected. I did a pasta salad as my side and brought the food home to eat. The sandwich was lackluster. It was sliced roast beef, deli meat, and not too much swiss cheese. It was a pretty large sandwich for the price but nothing to write home about. The side of au jus was small and only enough for about half of the sandwich. The main star was definitely the pasta salad! Elbow, macaroni noodles, and a big hunks of feta in it. I might have to try something else as this place does have some really good reviews, but not quite sure that the sandwich was the same as other people have gotten as I did see other reviews that didn't look like mine.

I did get a small side of potato salad. I have to say the service was fine. It's a walk up in order type of situation, they give you a number & there's ample indoor space to sit... We sat & got our order in a timely manner. We did have to substitute a few things because I have younger children that are picky. I did very much enjoy the grilled chicken club. I was able to get it spicy. It was very good... I also added sprouts which I am super excited they have because not a lot of places offer. The prices were very reasonable. We had a really great visit and next time I go I'm definitely gonna try that cobb salad.

We met my sister and her family here after a day at the beach & downtown Charleston. There were 8 of us and there was a large table that seated us all. Some had sandwiches, some had salads and I had the gumbo. The gumbo was full of medium sized shrimp, chicken, sausage and the usual assortment of veggies like tomatoes, okra & beans. It had a little kick but nothing too hot. My wife had the chicken Ceasar and my sister had the fajita salad. Both loved them! In fact everyone liked their food. That's extremely rare in a group this large. We don't live in the area but will be back next time we are. I highly recommend stopping here if you want a great sandwich or salad.

Very casual lunch spot. I ordered the Cobb salad and to my delight it was delicious. At $11.50 I got a loaded Cobb salad that included very tasty chicken. Beware, this salad is dense, as in there is a a lot. Definitely a good bang for your buck. My sister ordered the flatbread which was fine but the dough could have done with a longer bake time. The sandwiches appear to need a bit more of a boost in order to be charging $11 for a sandwich, no sides included. All in all, a good lunch spot for something easy and casual. Decent atmosphere with a good staff.

I was sad when Ladles left because it was my "after craft shopping lunch" and I do that often. BUT, I went into Six Mile to check it out. Not real different in decor or whatnot- as it's same owners I think but let me tell you- I was SO HAPPY!!!! Check out the extra touch with the sand which. Heart shape cause you're gonna love it! This is the AFB Grilled Cheese (apple, fig jam, Brie) and the soup was super good. I'm glad I still have a place to go over there that doesn't disappoint!!!!

Stopped here on our way home from Charleston. I had the club. Sandwich was just "ok". Bread was great, but the sandwich had about 4 thin slices of meat. Definitely not a club where meat is usually stacked. Bacon was cooked perfect. Yellow mustard was off putting, would have been better with a different type of mustard. For the price it was disappointing. My friend had a salad which looked great and she said was very good. Can't really comment on the service as it's an order sit and clean up after yourself. Overall I'll give the place a 4, given some of the positives. read more

Excellent! We've lived here for 2 years and were looking for somewhere new to eat. After reading the reviews, we thought we'd give it a try. I had the fajita salad and my wife had a melt sandwich. The food was outstanding. Everything was sooooo fresh and the salad was substantial (not the skimpy ones you get for like $15 these days). The woman working the front was great. I am in town from Texas and stumbled across this hidden gem. Had the club for dinner and came back the next day to try the Ruben. Both were amazing. I plan on going back for dinner to try their special meatloaf sandwich. You can tell the chef takes pride in every sandwich or wrap that she makes. Absolutely delicious. read more

I have lunch there once or twice weekly. Food is consistently good with fresh ingredients. They have some unique sandwich choices. I've tried 80% of them and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. Highly recommend. read more

Six Mile Eats flew under my radar until I was leaving Harris Teeter and caught it out of the corner of my eye. I've been twice now, and both times the food and service were excellent. I've only tried the Chicken Fajita Salad so far, but they're huge and worth the price. I'm picky when it comes to chicken, but there hasn't been a single bad piece! Food was awesome! Had the French Dip and Vegetable Soup. My wife Asian Chicken Wrap and Vegetable Soup. All was Excellent particularly the vegetable soup. It was incredible. Substantial portions and reasonably priced. Nice job! Btw Six miles is both the name and the distance. Go b4 5 & they close at 7! Ambiance doesn't exist. But doesn't need to. I've seen their Insta Ads which are beautifully presented. They featured Coconut Soup yesterday. I stopped for lunch today. The soup was fabulous and Hot! The Pear Salad was exceptional. It will be a regular stop. Great menu. read more

Ate lunch at Six Mile Eats yesterday for the first time. I'm debating if the Rueban sandwich I had was the best I've ever had or not. If not, I don't recall where I've ever had a better one. It was EXCELLENT. My wife had a chicken sandwich which she also thought was quite good. This is a small, nondescript restaurant; but, it will be worth your while going there. It's nothing fancy - but it is really good food. read more

food was spectacular. had redskin potato salad -- delish! the watermelon feta cuke salad is out of this world. we also had the shrimp and corn chowder and it was the best we have ever had. super cool staff and amazing cheap artwork for sale in the bathrooms. cannot recommend this place highly enough. one. million stars and no i am not related to anyone who works there. read more

Went in to 5 loaves today around 2 pm and sat outside. It wasn't very busy. Waitress tried to take out order while standing in side the restaurant insisting she didn't know who our server was and that she would find out. We made her come back to table so we could order like normal customers. She came back took all the orders at once and only came to check on us only when dropping something off. Food was alright, charged for an extra dressing and bread was as soggy as your first ex wife. For the inconvenience she offered us a free cookie which she brought out still wrapped not even warmed or on a plate. Funny thing is I was paying with a gift card from a previous messed up order where we picked up and they forgot to add the extra protein on all of our salads then when they remade the order they somehow did it again. The drinks we got were gross but she didn't ask and at this point we were over it. 71 dollars for a mediocre meal and bad service with a waitress who could care less if we lived or died. Funny after already having to give this place another shot from the previous mishap. Oh, the table next us was being served, got their food and drink before us and left before us as well. Not sure what happened there.

Not to compare too much but I've had some issues with the service at Cava recently, so Kairos is winning in my book!

Waiter looked at the uneaten oysters... never asked about them, and they stayed on the tab. The rest of the food was decent. We had a sausage app, beet salad and tzatziki and humus. No complaints there. Drinks were good. We had a margarita and watermelon mojito. I guess the oysters just ruined the experience for me. If they're not fresh, don't serve them.

I think a " breakfast skillet" should have a bottom layer with crispy potatoes and piping hot cheese that creates a frico effect. This skillet did not have any of that. That may be a preference thing and I have high expectations for breakfast skillets. The blueberry jam was heaven and I'd eat it by the gallon if I could. I think next time I would try something else, like the Benedict. This is clearly a well loved and popular spot for breakfast. I wouldn't get my dish again, but it seems there are plenty of wonderful options on the menu.

The butter bean succutash, which I never had before, contained butter beans, black eyed peas, corns, green and red peppers and red onions. It was delicious but since beans are of high FODMAP, I only had a little. The fish was topped with tomato jam made with crushed tomatoes, onions and sugar. It was served chilled. Paired well with the fish and succutash. The soup was creamy, silky, and full of flavor from cauliflower. The pistachio added some crunchiness to it. The taste of "green apple" was not obvious; in fact I was expecting there to be some apple slices, which could add extra texture and sourness to this rich soup. I also asked for a side of sourdough. A bit too salty for me. The service was kinda slow, except that food came out in reasonable amoutn of time **after I placed the order**, that is, I waited quite a while to order my food. The same for doing the check. I guess it was because there were not many staff at lunchtime, and most of them were senior thus could move as fast as young ppl.
