This is a very cute sandwich shop in Mt. P. I had a turkey sandwich which was pretty good. The service was great and the server helped me to pick a sandwich and let us know his favorites. I enjoyed my food and I'd like to try a salad next time I visit!

Grilled Chicken Club, but spicy

I've been hearing from online referrals and a couple friends at this place was pretty tasty... I research the menu before I went in and decided that they had a pretty good selection of sandwiches and salads. Although this trip, I took my kids in and we stuck to the sandwiches. I did get a small side of potato salad. I have to say the service was fine. It's a walk up in order type of situation, they give you a number & there's ample indoor space to sit... We sat & got our order in a timely manner. We did have to substitute a few things because I have younger children that are picky. I did very much enjoy the grilled chicken club. I was able to get it spicy. It was very good... I also added sprouts which I am super excited they have because not a lot of places offer. The prices were very reasonable. We had a really great visit and next time I go I'm definitely gonna try that cobb salad.

Second time eating here,I honestly didn't even remember that we ate here before until Google maps reminded me. I had a salad and it was both tasty and filling. I definitely recommend if you're in the area and need a quick delicious place to go

We met my sister and her family here after a day at the beach & downtown Charleston. There were 8 of us and there was a large table that seated us all. Some had sandwiches, some had salads and I had the gumbo. The gumbo was full of medium sized shrimp, chicken, sausage and the usual assortment of veggies like tomatoes, okra & beans. It had a little kick but nothing too hot. My wife had the chicken Ceasar and my sister had the fajita salad. Both loved them! In fact everyone liked their food. That's extremely rare in a group this large. We don't live in the area but will be back next time we are. I highly recommend stopping here if you want a great sandwich or salad.

Cobb salad

Very casual lunch spot. I ordered the Cobb salad and to my delight it was delicious. At $11.50 I got a loaded Cobb salad that included very tasty chicken. Beware, this salad is dense, as in there is a a lot. Definitely a good bang for your buck. My sister ordered the flatbread which was fine but the dough could have done with a longer bake time. The sandwiches appear to need a bit more of a boost in order to be charging $11 for a sandwich, no sides included. All in all, a good lunch spot for something easy and casual. Decent atmosphere with a good staff.

Absolutely fantastic sandwich. I had the French dip and it was amazing. Very friendly service the staff is awesome. Definitely go to whenever I'm in Socar

AFB Grilled Cheese and soup

I was sad when Ladles left because it was my "after craft shopping lunch" and I do that often. BUT, I went into Six Mile to check it out. Not real different in decor or whatnot- as it's same owners I think but let me tell you- I was SO HAPPY!!!! Check out the extra touch with the sand which. Heart shape cause you're gonna love it! This is the AFB Grilled Cheese (apple, fig jam, Brie) and the soup was super good. I'm glad I still have a place to go over there that doesn't disappoint!!!!

This little place is perfect for a quick bite freshly made. Close to Hobby Lobby. Friendly staff and my French Dip was delicious.

Think lasagna, baked ziti, grilled sausage, peppers and onions, and a lot more. The classic Italian desserts looked delicious but I'm trying to stick with my New Year's resolution a little longer. Today, I ordered "Godmother's Turkey" (turkey, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, spinach, mozzarella, garlic mayo). I think this was the best sandwich I've had in Mount Pleasant. Everything was fresh and perfectly portioned. I added a Caesar salad - and while very simple, it was made of crisp lettuce with crunch croutons. Dressing was the classic variety. The counter staff was very friendly and our order took only about 5-7 minutes to make. There's indoor and outdoor seating and a little shopping area where you can browse wines, oils, and more. Very casual atmosphere. No servers as it's counter service only. I recommend take out as they do a great job boxing and wrapping everything.

Was the person who made our cheesesteak unhappy... or have they simply never encountered a good…read moresandwich before? Because this thing looked like it was assembled out of spite. The roll was dry, crumbly, and stale-- like it had already given up on life. The meat was gray, mushy, and clumped together in sad, gluey piles that screamed "leftover mystery beef." The cheese? A chaotic situation. Half melted, half missing, fully pointless. The extra onions were sparse at best. There was no seasoning, no structure, no attempt at balance. One third of each half had zero meat- in fact check out the picture to see they didn't even slice the bread!!! When you pull the sandwich apart, it doesn't stretch or satisfy -- it collapses into bread shards and beef paste. Truly impressive in the worst way. A cheesesteak should be hot, indulgent, and comforting. This felt rushed, careless, and borderline passive-aggressive. I've had frozen sandwiches that showed more pride in their work. As someone from suburban Philly, if this is how you treat a cheesesteak----Hard pass. Save your money, your appetite, and your expectations.

So we went with the classic understudy, roast beef. The mozz was SO fresh and perfectly sliced. The rolls must be made on-site. Seeds, texture, chewiness, just perfect. Best roll we've had in a long time. Our main feedback would be to (please) increase their *hot sandwich offerings. Unsure why we were told a hot roast beef was impossible (first time this has ever happened) when the stations are already set up to crank out cheesesteaks; we watched 5 cheesesteaks being made while we ate in the dining room. With these quality ingredients, a hot roast beef would have put Primo over the top.

I decided to stop by Groucho's for lunch before work recently. My immediate opinion upon arrival…read morewas the inside appearance was outdated, dirty and it needed a refresh. The service counter setup was confusing, as there are 2 registers but each facing a different direction. The staff immediately said hi, but never said which register to take my order as he was on the phone. Another staff member then arrived and took my order at the other register. I ordered the apollo dipper, and said I'd eat in. The seating options are a little sparse for one. There were a few tables for 4 or more, but not enough 2 tops. There is a long counter to sit, but I did not find it appealing and sat at the two top. The chairs look dirty, as the back supports had a dirty appearance from all the hands. My chair was also wobbly. Then I noticed the napkin dispenser on the table was dirty with dust. All this validated my initial opinion when entering. My order arrived, but in a to go bag. No problem, I stayed and ate it. Overall the sandwich was ok, with a soft warm bun. The melted cheese covered the turkey and ham below. I can't say the sandwich was very flavorful, so the Formula 45 sauce added flavor. Before leaving, I used the restroom and was not surprised by how dirty it was. Lots of dust on the top of toilet tank and the handicap bars. Then residual dried water spots under the paper dispenser and wall where the trash can was sitting. No effort here. I really don't like giving a review like this, but it was disappointing. I have visited Groucho's in the Columbia area and they were much better. While food taste and value usually come first, the appearance (cleanliness) also contributes to the experience. I've read other reviews that share similar experiences, so this is not a solitary moment. Hopefully feedback helps, maybe owners/managers will see the need to react to concerns. Unfortunately, I will not likely return.
