We called in a bacon, egg and cheese on ass urged bagels for 6 and it totally exceeded our expectations! The bagels were fresh, chewy, and full of flavor -- easily some of the best around Mount Pleasant. I especially loved my everything bagel as I'm quite the bagel snob when it comes to these. The staff was warm and welcoming, and even during a busy morning rush, they moved the line quickly and kept everything running smoothly. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting -- perfect for a casual breakfast or coffee catch-up. Highly recommend if you're craving quality bagels!

Coffee sizes are big and the bagels are filling. Very quick service never a long line and it is a seat yourself after you order which is nice. Free water dispenser in the corner that is hand motion sensored. Love this place and the bagels with their many different options of cream cheeses and types of bagels.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This location of Ruby's really got the nicest interior compared to the North Charleston and West Ashley locations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a nice covered outdoor seating area, lots of interior seating complete with a cozy corner of leather chair seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This location lends to longer sitting vs grab and go. The staff was friendly and patient while managing the long line of patrons (10 people) efficiently. Everything was bussed and cleaned in a timely manner. The bagel sandwich was delicious until I felt the crunch! My heart sank a bit, there was a chunk of egg shells. I love that Ruby's uses fresh ingredients but double checking the cracked egg bowl to ensure no egg shells is preferred. I think it's a fluke and will be fixed in the future. It won't stop us from returning for our favorite bagels in town. read more

I just got an everything bagel with cream cheese and a hot coffee but it was fabulous! If they can get the basics right, they can get the more complicated stuff right! I popped in on a Saturday morning to grab a bag of bagels. I swear there had to be 80 or more people between inside and outside, dining and having fun. What looked like it should have been chaos turned out to be a well-oiled machine. I did not wait in line; the gal on the register was super friendly, and my to-go bagels were handed to me in short order. The ingress/egress at this location is dicey - any business in this tiny shopping center will be affected by somebody in the town of Mount Pleasant's poor planning regarding the driveways meeting the main roads. While I hope it will not deter eaters from trying it, it's worth the warning to be careful. read more

Ever since they've opened this location we go here weekly for our bagel fix. Great selection of bagels, solid coffee, and great staff. Service is always pretty quick and have done to go orders here too. Love having a Rubys closer to the house now. The only critique I would have is that sometimes when ordering online ahead of time - there are a few things not available online that you know you can get when you roll in the store. ...like when it's only 8: am and I can't pick sun-dried tomato bagel and you know they're not out of them! But let's chalk that up to Clover being messed up. Otherwise - Solid and keep up the great work! Love this spot. read more

We're from up north & these bagels are bangin'. Delicious scallion cream cheese too - loaded with the good stuff. We took them to-go so I can't really speak to the ambience, but I thought the service could have been a touch better. A man in front of us ordered two dozen assorted bagels; while the employee was gathering them, a couple other employees just stood around instead of taking my order. We'll definitely be back though if in the area. read more

Great bagel establishment in the Carolina Park area. I have been here twice and had the gluten free bagel sandwich w egg, cheese and bacon. The breakfast sandwich is the best I've had in awhile and the service is just as good. Jersey Girl here and the bagels I will say are just like up North. Perfect density and chew factor. Great variety of bagels and sandwiches. There's a bagel for everyone here. My son loves the bacon habanero, my daughter loves the sun dried and although I'm usually an egg everything with PORK ROLL (not Taylor Ham) girl, the Rosemary Sea Salt was amazing. I'm definitely going to have to get a lox and pumpernickel everything next because I somehow missed that and it's my favorite. All in all this place is great, especially for us Tri-State ex-pats! read more

I placed an online order and immediately realized it was to the wrong location. I called the store and explained I had sent to the wrong location and they told me they had already started working on the order. 30 seconds is the fastest I have ever heard of any restaurant to start working on an online order. They refused to stop the order and I was out $30. I will never go to another Ruby's. Customer service is awful. read more

Incredible bagels and coffee! My husband walked in during a very busy time but couldn't believe how quickly they got our food out to us. They took a little longer on coffee which was totally fine but they felt bad and gave us a few bagels on the house. Totally unexpected but was so incredibly nice of them. They go above and beyond! The bagels are very good - authentic NY bagels, best around. Nice selection of flavors. My only advice is to back off on the salt in the veggie cream cheese and less sugar in the cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese. The cheeses are loaded with all the good stuff but the seasonings of excess salt and sugar overwhelm the flavor. Nice job - been dying for good bagels here in the area for 13 years! read more

I love this place! First time here and it is wonderful! Had a cheddar cheese with vegetable cream cheese and hey give you two containers of the cream cheese. Always a plus to have enough. These bagels are soooo good! My brother brought an assortment of these bagels for breakfast the morning of my daughter's wedding to treat our family and what a treat it was!!! Loved the bagel flavors as well as the flavored cream cheeses. So yummy!!!! Can't wait for my next visit to see my brother so that I can sweet talk him into taking me to Ruby's!!! read more

As a NY transplant the bagels are pretty solid. The egg sandwich is middle of road and the cream cheeses are good too. The reason for 2 stars is website for ordering is horrible they won't do anything about it. Charged me 7x. I get to store they never receive order. They did refund me at least. read more

This is my return visit review. For an establishment that claims it roots in NY/NJ their understanding of a Taylor Ham and Cheese sandwich is lacking. You need to order double meat, at extra cost, to offset the meat to bread ratio. This is a money grab over quality and authentic northeast food. read more

We will definitely be back the next time we're in Mount Pleasant.

I watched them pull espresso shots, leave them sitting, then head to the back and suddenly my drinks appeared. When I asked about it, I was told the espresso was "pre-pulled and chilled." Meanwhile, the shots I originally saw pulled sat untouched at the machine for about two minutes (100% expired at that point). It was a confusing process and honestly, pre-pulled espresso just doesn't taste fresh. As for the drinks themselves, they were overly sweet. The vanilla latte had an odd banana flavor, and the Purple Haze tasted chemical (ironically). Overall, I won't be back for drinks. I've heard great things about their beans, so it's a shame I didn't get to experience a fresh espresso shot
