This is a wonderful cafe! A great spot at the end of Sweetgrass Mercantile! This used to be a Johnnys Hotdogs and then it was transferred to Not Just Franks. Great in and out spot with outside tables to sit and eat or take it home with you. Nice variety of quick and easy meals. Order at the window and wait for your order. I love this little food stand. Good things come in small packages and Not Just Franks never disappoints. The good is plentiful and fresh made. It's family owned and the customer service is on point. The owner knows many of his regulars by name and their food orders. This is how food service should be. There is shaded outdoor seating including an old converted golf cart. When you start to go from very good to just OK. Two years ago, I remember getting sandwiches on large size bread, and that added value as the sandwich was pretty good size. Today I got the breakfast sandwich on toast at whole wheat, and it was thin and small, and when the foil wrap sandwich with hand it to me, it basically fit in the palm of my hand. Also, with breakfast people really like to have orange juice and it was no good reason to substitute orange juice with Sunny D, which is just disgusting high fructose corn syrup. Super cute little place to eat. The set up is great and so is the seating which is all outside . The food is delicious and the prices aren't bad either. The grilled chicken sandwich had amazing flavor and so did the fries. Literally go here to eat. My only complaint was the girl who waited on us seemed miserable like she hated having to wait on anyone. I'm not sure how the normal customer service is but that's why I took away a star. My boyfriend and I have been here many times to get breakfast sandwiches. We went for the first time this morning in a little while and did not have a great experience. $20 for two small breakfast sandwiches 2 drinks, not terrible. The sandwiches were incredibly greasy & made us both feel unwell. Additionally, the lady who takes the orders and handles the cashier was not very friendly at all. My bf ordered an iced coffee, she gave him a hot coffee & then when he asked for a plastic cup so he could get ice and pour the coffee, she said it would be $3 for the cup. Simple and quick. I stopped by for a quick bite while I was in the area. It is on the side of the store so I was a bit confused when I first drove in. But they have a cute seating area outside. They mainly have sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs. Their prices were very fair. I opted to try the Reuben and made it a combo with fries and a drink. The food came out quickly and at first glance, it looked good. There was a good amount of meat and it was cheesy too. The fries were nice and crispy, which are my favorite. You wouldn't think a walk-up stand attached to the hardware store would be a great place to have breakfast or lunch. We didn't, but it is. Not Just Franks - is a hands down win, we are sure to get great food and friendly service. Each visit we have both ordered something different and each time - the food has really been great. Todays lunch was the Fiesta Chicken sandwich and the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Both are huge, well seasoned and about as good as it gets. The only downside is the only way to have room for french fries is to split a sandwich between us, and we couldn't decide on which one. This was our first time to order ahead, and we highly recommend. It was super busy at 12:50 (of course) and it was great to grab our bag and go. read more

Okay let's get things straight. I was devastated when I heard the news of Sweetgrass Cafe closing. It was one of my favorite nearby lunch spots. I read that "Not Just Franks" took over and would be re-opening soon. Really?!? A Hot Dog place... that's what we're getting instead of Sweetgrass! Well, I did some investigative research and found out what the deal is. Here's the inside scoop. *They got a paint job, a new name, new manager, and an updated menu. *Fear not! I thought it was gonna be a straight up hot dog stand but, that's why it's called NOT Just Franks cause they got other stuff too! *Truie is no longer there and that makes me sad. *The original chef is there so many of the menu items are very similar. *The Fiesta Chicken Sandwich is still on the menu! Overall, the place is pretty similar when it comes to the food and they've added a whole bunch of hot dog concoctions. I've only been once since the change over so I'm hesitant to go for the 5 star situation but, I'm confident they'll have me bumping that rating up soon enough. read more
