Decent price but very mediocre pizza for that price. They used canned mushrooms. Not even papa Johns uses those, I believe. Even the pepperoni pizza tasted bland. If I were to describe their pizza here in one word it would be just that: bland. We could have spent the same money, skipped the brownie (also mediocre and mostly not eaten) and gotten fantastic pizza from mellow mushroom. Or spent much less money and gotten equal pizza from Dominos or something. Awesome customer service though, the lady was super nice. We have had pizza delivered twice since they opened and they have been great every time. Unlike other pizza delivery places near by, our pizza from Marcos arrives hot (hubs burnt his mouth!) and tastes great. Prices are great as well. read more

I'm surprised at the varied reviews. The Italian Subs and Cheesesteaks are the best so far we have found in the area. They were nicely made on good Italian bread (warm) with ample meats and cheeses and the flavor comparable to any good Italian joint in NJ. The chicken wings were meaty and the sauce was perfect Buffalo sauce. The pizza was fine - I prefer a thin crust, but it was hot and good. We have ordered from here twice - they were very busy on Friday night, but they kept things moving and worked together very well. They are the example of good food with good service - the extreme opposite of their neighbor, Bagel Nation who has great bagels, but horrible service. Save your money and go buy a frozen pizza. A restaurant that uses canned mushrooms (very obvious) should not advertise itself as being "Authentic". If you aren't a pizza lover, then I'm sure Marco's will work fine for you. I ordered a pizza and wings to pick up at 5:40pm, let them know I was on a tight schedule. The girl repeated the order and time correctly. I was there on time, order was not even started, it was obviously the man checking was management or owner. I saw 3 tickets hanging, one being mine. They were not busy at all, were visiting each other. The manager stated the time was written for 5:45pm to be picked up, even with that being the time, the meal was NOT started. Sooooo, I got out of there late, missed the person I was to meet. Food was lousy to boot. The manager didn't care, no offer of a discount, don't remember hearing an apology. Just a statement saying it will be ready in 7 minutes, which it wasn't. Will not go back and I told the people walking in they were better off going somewhere else to eat. read more

I've been ordering from this Marco's for the last three years. Never been disappointed. The cheese bread is made with cornmeal so it's really soft but crisp with the cheese. Wings arent bad, but if you're picky don't order them. Their salads are great and great sized portions. They always have amazing deals online for $3-$4 off your order. read more

I ordered a pizza today at 2:00pm and arrived at 2:30 to pick up, I stood at the counter for over five minutes while the staff stood in the back horse playing, acting like they didn't see me, they never acknowledged me and I left without my pizza. We are big fans of Marco's Pizza, Mt. Pleasant. I think we've tried just about every pizza place that delivers in the area for our Sunday night pepperoni pizza fix, and we've been disappointed time and again until we found Marco's. Unlike other pizza places in the area, Marco's delivery is always fresh, HOT, and does not disappoint. I am also a big fan of the Marco's Pizza rewards program and their "Track Your Order" feature. I grew up in Ohio where Marco's is originally from. I grew up eating their pizza pretty much every weekend as a child. I've never been disappointed in the quality until I moved to SC and ordered from the Mt Pleasant store. I'm not sure if it's a franchise-by-franchise decision, but CANNED MUSHROOMS!? Seriously!? I wish you could give it a negative rating. My experience with this store is so bad I will never return. The pizza is OK, but the service and delivery is horrific. I can only assume the owner hires the lowest common denominator and then lets them run the show. The staff is rude. We had offered them coupons in the past only to be told that they don't need it. After ordering from Marcos several times, they suddenly decided to need the coupon. My wife told the delivery boy that we didn't have one handy and that we had never needed one before. He said that the pizza would be full price. She told him that's not what we agreed to when we ordered online and he called in for guidance. I came to the door and asked what the problem was and this arrogant boy said, "Quiet. I'm on the phone." That was the end of civil conversation. I'm not going to be talked to like that at my own door. Doug was rude to both my wife and myself. He was actually standing there giggling and acting like a child when I told him to watch his mouth. Adalia (sic) was not much better and responded to our phoned-in complaint by being argumentative and threatening. When my wife told Doug that we can always order from another vender from now on his response was 'Please do.' I emailed a complaint to the owner, Peter. Guess what? He never responded.
