Chain Pizza at its mediocrity! As they say, there's no such thing as bad pizza, so it will do in a pinch. Their picture of their "cupped" pepperoni pizza had my mouth watering. However, the pizza that arrived had all of the cupped pepperoni the wrong way, and there was barely any on in comparison to the picture. Pizza is definitely a personal preference and this was no Donato's (still the best chain, IMHO). I don't think I'd order here again as there are many better options. read more

Marco's Pizza is one of those national chain type pizza places that is more akin to fast food then to the mom-and-pop pizza shops that honestly produce some amazing pizza. Marco's Pizza is more along the lines of Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Domino's, you know, those kinds of places. Service here is friendly and the pizza is what you woukd expect from one of those national pizza chains. I will advise you that traffic can get abysmal, making getting out of the strip mall where Marco's Pizza is located extremely difficult at times. Worst visit ever. When I arrive to pick up my order it wasn't ready. With it being a Friday night I totally understand but after a hour passed. I asked for update and only one of the 2 pizzas I ordered was ready. I asked if they could remake them do I could get the food at the same time I was told yes and when I received the food. Been on a keto diet for a little over 3 months and have heard a lot about their crustless pizza bowls. Well today, I FINALLY got to try one. I ordered for carry out online through their app and it was super quick and easy. The only thing is, the app kept giving me trouble when I was trying to sign in with my Facebook account so I just had to checkout as a guest which wasn't a big deal, but would've been much faster if I could've logged in. On the bright side, my order was ready within about 10 minutes. As soon as I got to the store, my order was already waiting for me. I ordered the All Meat pizza bowl customizing it with Pepperoni, Bacon, Steak, Ground Beef, Meatballs, and Onions. THAT THING WAS BUSSIN (definition: good! It was very, very good!). It had the right amount of each ingredient and for the price, they give you a good serving. I was only able to eat like a quarter of it but I can't wait to heat it up again for leftovers. First off the customer service is great and they're very responsive to everything. However, the food was horrible. Its been 4 or 5 years since ive eaten marcos and I remember it being amazing. Not anymore. My garden pizza was not fully cooked but the crust was near burnt. The cheese pizza I got was almost burnt. They only give 1 garlic dipping sauce for a 15 piece chicken dipper and only one marinara ramiken for a cheesy bread. Sometimes I can be a bit too aggressive when it comes to reviewing food but before I said anything, my family where already complaining about the food. Ill give another Marcos in the area a try again but if its anywhere close to the experience tonight then I will totally X out Marcos from my go to list. read more

This is a follow up to a review I posted about Marcos not accepting American Express Credit Cards. Their spokesman Ricard told me to grow up. Hahaha. Whatever happen to customer service. My wife found it very easy to customize our order on the website, which is great to know! Her friend ordered a "large" Founder's Pie, with regular crust; and, our daughter got a Large Pepperoni Pizza. My wife and I were allowed to sample each; and, the founder's pie was delicious! It featured pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms... the sausage was quite spicy! Service was great! It was quicker than expected; and, super friendly. We rewarded the driver with a 20+% tip. Let's just say, I'm a hardcore papa johns pizza lover. But my boyfriend decided to give this pizza joint a try and I am so happy he did. The driver mixed the order up and was so polite, they made two pizzas for us because of the inconvenience. Not only that, the pizza itself was hot and fresh, I didn't get a chance to snap a photo! The cheese melted beautifully with the toppings, and the bottom layer had the nicest crunch. Usually we need cheese or butter sauce to eat the crust, but not this time, it was nice and doughy. Just had the worst experience at marco's pizza. Placed a carry out order for just a cheese pizza and a sub at 7:10. Online said 15-25 minutes. Got there about 7:25 paid for order including a tip. Told they were a few minutes behind but it should be about 10 minutes. 7:35 an employee asked me what I was waiting for! Meanwhile people are coming in and ordering and getting their food. 7:55 still no pizza, asked again. They hadn't even starting making my order. Marco's locations have been popping up on the east side of Orlando lately, so we figured we'd give them a shot. They're located in the Woodbury shopping center near Firkin & Kegler. So far, we've only gotten delivery, so I can't speak on their actual location. The delivery time was accurate, and the driver seemed pleasant enough. We ordered a couple of large pizzas: one pineapple and one pepperoni, along with an order of cheesy bread. My wife enjoyed her pineapple pizza, and my pepperoni was alright. The slices felt pretty small for a "large" pizza. The crust was a little chewy, and the sauce had a nice enough flavor. The cheesy bread was what really shined though. Soft, chewy and deliciously cheesy. For a chain pizza, Marco's is alright - but that's about where it ends. Unless they have a really good deal, you can find much better pizza in the area - even from the other national chains. read more

First, I have to say I've been a manager at several pizza restaurants. One was a chain and the other a local. Second, I've been eating pizza since I can remember and can make them in my sleep if required. That being said, let's start with take-out. I recently ordered a pizza from here and arrived at about the time my pizza should have been ready. But, since no one was at the counter, in the front of the place or visible in the back, I figured I'd just sit and see how long it took for someone to appear. About three minutes later a young female appeared at the counter. Did she say anything to me? No. She was too busy texting to notice there was a customer in clear view. It wasn't until I actually said, "hello" to her standing at the counter that she stopped. It ended up that my pizza was ready from the moment I walked in, but that someone was more interested in texting than doing their job. But don't think having it delivered is a good idea either. You may unleash a reckless driver on the public. Today (2-17-11 at about 4:40pm) a Marco's pizza driver in a black dodge pickup was driving on Lake Underhill and Woodbury, weaving through traffic, exceeding the speed limit near a school. Further, once he turned off and into the parking lot, continued to drive at least 20mph. Unsafe, uncool. And both of them would be unemployed if I was managing the place. Which brings us to the pizza. As noted by a previous diner their "large" pizzas are, in fact, just mediums puffed out. They do indeed taste a lot like Papa John's but PJ's has more flavor in their sauce. (No, I never worked for PJ's). Marco's sauce tastes like Ragu with some Italian spices thrown in. It's unremarkable and cheap so, for cheap cafeteria-like pizza this is your place. If you want to actually have a pizza that does something more than fill an empty space in your stomach go elsewhere. Yeah, you will likely spend more money, but you get what you pay for. I'll admit that I'm a food snob, but I don't feel like paying for a texting worker, a reckless driver and mediocre (at best) pizza. read more

This was the best chain pizza available in the area. The last two times we've ordered delivery, the food has taken over an hour (for 1-2 pizzas) and been cold. The pizzas are often cut unevenly (horrifically so). Usually, the quality of the pizza is good but recently even that has suffered. I really enjoy Marco's pizza; it's our go-to "I don't feel like cooking" food. However, with the consistently poor (and slow) service and declining food quality, we won't be ordering from here any longer. read more

This pizza place left me very surprised, it didn't seem like much but I will definitely be coming back. The pizza had an amazing flavor and the pizza place had many variations of pizza which was very thoughtful for their customers. The employees were pretty young but still did their job and got it done. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars was because they didn't have ice and their breadsticks were really good but a little bit dry. We frequently order from Marcos! We have only had delivery, so I cannot comment on dining in, however the delivery time is always either spot on or earlier than they say. The drivers are always polite, and patient while I contain my dog. I love the convenience of online ordering & paying. I was skeptical at first but they have never gotten my order wrong. It is very easy to design your own pizzas etc. and your cart adjusts your price as you go along. You also get a $3 coupon for ordering online. The pizza is good. I would say it is slightly better than your typical chain pizza. The crust is a bit doughy, so we either get thin crust or the classic but we select bake well. There is a new chicken florentine pizza that I am looking forward to trying. The guys in my house love the cinnamon buns dessert! There is never any of it leftover and you get a good portion for just a few dollars! read more
